The whole process was thorough and professional. I felt that I was given all the possible options and then it was my choice which procedure I had. Mr Anderson answered all my (many!) questions and I was relaxed going into surgery. The actual procedure passed very quickly and easily under mild sedation. I can now see at all distances with my multifocul lens replacement and have put the glasses in the bin forever! I also felt that if I had any problems I would be able to speak to someone straight away.

Having lost the sight in one eye many years ago I was apprehensive about having any treatment not withstanding failing sight in my other eye due to a cataract. However the reassurance and expert treatment from Anderson eye care has restored me to 20:20 vision. I can’t t recommend them highly enough.

From the moment I met Mr Anderson at my first consultation, I felt at ease and that didn’t change throughout the whole experience of lense replacement. From start to finish my experience was fantastic. The information given out covered everything I needed to know. Each person I was in contact with was knowledgeable and very friendly.

The day of the operation I was obviously a bit nervous, but from reception to nurses to Dr I was made to feel completely at ease.

The operation went extremely quick and no discomfort felt at any time.

I was able to leave the hospital as soon as I felt comfortable to go. But the best of it all was how good my sight already was.

Having your eyes operated on was not an enticing thought but cataracts needed doing - but apart from turning up at the hospital and then leaving I can remember nothing in between. Caring staff and the effective sedative meant I knew nothing of the procedure - apart from the effects on leaving - everything brighter and clearer - and 3D vision! No glasses after 40 years. Why did I not get it done then!

Everything was well organised, I went to Nuffield Private Hospital for both eyes to have RLE and all the staff were very friendly and helpful prior to the procedure. I was not worried about being awake during this as my eyes were numbed with drops. I didn’t feel a thing and was able to talk to Mr Anderson and his team during the procedure . It didn’t feel like an operation, the first eye was done in 8 minutes, I was told! Second presumably the same . Afterwards I wore sunglasses as everything was very bright. Take someone with you if you have both eyes done. Armed with lots of eye drops for the next 4 weeks, I flew home the same day of the procedure. The following day when the brightness was not so noticeable and calmed down I could read my phone without glasses and though my eyes needed to take a bit of time to adjust , it was an amazing transition. It is now 4 weeks and two weeks ago I had a follow up appointment and was told I had 20:20 vision ! It was amazing and well worth the cost . I would recommend this procedure to anyone who wishes to drop wearing glasses as it also lasts for life .

I had lens replacement surgery with Dr. Anderson at the Nuffield in Chandlers Ford two weeks ago and I’m thrilled with the results. Staff were professional, surgery was 15 min and painless, and recovery was way easier than I expected. Best decision I’ve made.

After doing some research on lens replacement surgery with some very large companies on Trustpilot, the results and reviews were not good. This left me disappointed and feeling that I would have to continue with a lifetime of contact lenses for which I have worn already for 35 years. I was then personally recommended to Mr Anderson at Anderson Eye Care. I had very bad eyes with a high myopia of -11. After our consultation, I decided to have both eyes done at the same time under general anaesthetic as I was very nervous. I had refractive cataract surgery with extended depth of focus lens implants. Mr Anderson and the team at Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital could not have done more for me. I can assure you; you will be in good hands. Post surgery, no pain and was on a course of eye drops for 4 weeks. My eyes are now fully healed and I now have effectively 20/20 vision and my eye strength is basically 0.25 - 0.5. Unbelievable and no glasses needed either. This has changed my life. Thank you so much Mr Anderson.

Had my in-depth initial assessment with Mr Anderson and was booked a few weeks later for the removal of my cataracts. It was a momentous moment after the operation to be able to see. The staff were polite and courteous and helpful and the operation was quick and the aftercare was amazing. Mr Anderson is amazing his knowledge is never ending and he can relate to your individual needs. I felt ant ease at all times and assured I was under the best care at all times. It is the best decision I ever made under the care of the best.

All fears allayed from the off. Lens optioned fully discussed and final choice left with patient. Procedure fully explained, responded to my concerns with regard to local for eye surgery and a general was used. Spoke with Mr Anderson and Anaesthetist prior to procedure and pre and post procedure care was exemplary

I had exceptional care from Mr. Anderson with an excellent outcome. I had explained that I was mildly claustrophobic.
