Anchor Law Firm and at least who worked or still working with me are doing great job. Their work on time plus the great settlement offers that I received from them are exceptional. If you want get out of debt, Anchor is the best choice. Good job.

I do not get answers when I call. I get scripted responses and the common phrase of "You should hear back in 3 to 5 business days." That is a phrase that should be removed from your script, because I never get a call back in 3 to 5 days.
The queue of calls is long. Another problem after my call is finally answered, is being put on hold for long amounts of time while they review my account. I wouldn't mind waiting but everyone that reviews my account gives me different answers.
While on hold my calls are often dropped. I then have to call back and go through the long process of getting through the queue. On March 6, 2020 I was cut-off three times. One of those times was in the middle of a 20 minute hold.

Been stealing my Money from the beginning of this called repeatedly to speak to upper level management and got no where the only reason I got a call back because I stopped my payments with this firm.... which tells you they are all about money... please don’t sign up go to the BBB website and look at their grade and real customer reviews.....

A judgement was filed against me and the funds in my husband's checking account were levied. As a result he is unable to pay the mortgage and other important bills.

Anchor is my legal representative for this Discover account. They were made aware of the pending court date...they did nothing. I was told in a phone conversation that they would appear in court on my behalf...they did not. I was also told that they were in negotiations with Discover...they were not...resulting in the afore mentioned judgement and levy.

I was promised regular phone communication to keep me appraised of negotiations with Discover. Noone is calling me. When I call Anchor noone is available to speak with me.

Because I never have been able to TALK to one of the LAWYERS
at ANCHOR when I need a legal matter taken care of.

When this is done maybe I will change my rating.

I have 2 months left in the program. One settlement extends 4 months beyond the end of the program. Another significant debt has not even reached a settlement yet.I was expecting to reach the end of the program and be debt free. Instead I will still have more than 25% of the debt I started with. Customer service has no real answers.

The miss handling of my accounts has been dismal to be polite in my response. I have had to settle accounts on my own after judgements have been filed against me. I have had to hound the program with repeated calls and submissions of documents and it has truly been a nightmarish experience. If I hadn’t paid so much into the program I would have quit it a long time ago. It is simply deplorable how this company does business. I have even been blamed for mistakes that the company has made in the miss handling of my accounts. I don’t think I have ever been given the run around so much in my entire adult life.

First off what they promised to do "IN WRITING" they did not do - at the end of the program they left me with sizable debts still unresolved even though I made all the payments on time as I promised to do. Various phone calls & emails to them throughout the program to follow up on issues go without any response even though "promises to callback or respond back" are made. And the wait times on hold to speak with anyone is ridiculously long no matter what time of day or day of the week that you call.

I would have never signed up with them if I knew they were going to ruin my credit. They were suppose to negotiate my credit card issues instead they would not do anything until the creditor would file court documents suing me for what I had owed plus interest. Even though I faxed all the paperwork to Anchor Law I would not hear back from them. Their lack of communications is really really bad. I would not recommend them at all to anyone that is having financial issues.

i would give a minus star if possible. all you people who are having issues with anchor law firm please be aware if they settle any accounts you will get a 1099c stating the portion of your account that you did not pay thru anchor will be fully taxable. example 10,000.00 credit card bill at 40% negotiated= 4000.00 negotiated. so you pay a reduced amount of 4,000.00 thru anchor( plus their exorbitant fees and they send irs a 1099c for you to claim the remaining 6000.00 as income on your taxes!this is in addition to your regular income for the year and all 6000.00 is FULLY taxable.

Even though I continue to make payments as scheduled creditors are not being paid. I’ve called multiple times but have been able to get no answers from customer service.

Anchor completely Dropped the ball with one of my creditors and now a substantial wage garnishment is happening this week. I am extremely dissatisfied with how this is being handled. I am paying fees for a service that never happened and now I am in dire straits financially due to this wage garnishment.

I am beyond frustrated not getting anyone to call me back. We had two accounts that were settled one in November 2018. It never went into our account that it was settled. I had a court date and had been calling every week for at least a month and a half if you check your records I was never Assigned an attorney. My father passed away and I had a court date the same day as his week and could not get anyone to answer me but an attorney that it helped me before with you but was not assigned to my case. If you have any questions you could call Robin Lasky because he also said he would put in a request to have somebody call me back which I never got and we have never missed a payment in over two years.It broke my heart and made some thing that was really tragic even worse I would never recommend you to anybody.

Terrible wait times over 30 minutes. With no answers. I have to call all the time to follow up. Return calls never happen. I removed an account on Jan 24th and I need contract signed or non repsemation document sent to AMEX. Down to the last day it’s due tomorrow 2/7. I have accelerated payments and I want to close the last account so I can finalize paying this firm.

The client services associate that helped me was very knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, humorous, & friendly. An asset to your law firm.

One star too many. They have lied about every transaction. I even gave them additional money to pay off creditors and it just sits in an account. I have called multiple times and they just say anything they can to get me off the line. They should be shut down.

WAGE GARNISHMENT!!
I finished paying Anchor in November after 3 years and $54,000. A law suit that began in August was never settled and Anchor never told me. Now my employer is about to start garnishing my wages to pay off $24,000. When I contacted Anchor, I was told I only had $5,000 left in my account. This is now somehow my problem. If they have to pay out of their own funds because they didn't do their jobs, then so be it. Or I will have to hire another attorney.

Anchor Law Firm is exceptional. I've been in program just over two years and they have helped me every step of the way. I have had positive professional feedback, advice and guidance from the team at Anchor. I have settled on multiple credit card accounts and received all my settlement letters and paperwork. This firm is great. I highly recommend that you consider using this firm if you want to consolidate your credit card debt. Extremely diverse in all aspects of the steps needed to get you a great end result with the credit card companies. They are doing an awesome job with my account so far! 5 Stars

I was told an e mail had been sent explaining my pay off amount. No e mail received as of now. I also do not know how you came up with the $ amount. Approximately $3,000.00 more than I expected.
My scheduled payments to you through 2/22/2022 amounts to $14,487, and now you're saying I owe $20,893? Why the difference?
