Amazon Marketplace - Lack of purchase protection
Bought from Amazon and the product was delivered but had suffered damage in transit and leaked over 50% of the materials.
Tried to raise a refund request on Amazon but informed that Amazon Marketplace purchases not refundable or replaceable.
This is a disgrace and probably illegal for any UK online purchase.
Be very careful using Amazon as your purchasing window because you may be unprotected.
I lost nearly £50.
Amazon Market Place traders lets me down, again!
Its a shame that Amazon Market Place traders sometimes give Amazon a poor rep'. Over the years I've bought plenty of products from Amazon but sometimes buying through them is a frustrating business. I live on an island, so our product choices are sometimes not as broad as I would like so we buy online. Mostly this is OK but sometimes you have to be wary of shipping fees. However, the worst situation I find is when you order a product, Amazon confirm the order, the order is confirmed as despatched, (which incidentally means the buyer can't cancel), and then a few days later you get an email from Amazon explaining that you are getting a refund on the purchase and you aren't going to receive the product you have researched and have been waiting for, in this instance paint from PREMIUM PRODUCTS WB. If they don't wish to send products to our island then they should setup their delivery options correctly. As far as I'm concerned it is pure incompetence on their part.

Wenn da beim Kauf etwas schief läuft bekommt man seine Rechte nicht durchgesetzt. Amazon steht dazwischen und man kommt an der Verkäufer nicht ran. Und Amazons Kundenservice ist unterirdisch

Amazon is completely broken
I have been an Amazon customer for over 20 years. It was amazingly good service. It is now completely broken !
I have spent a month. I have spoken to 12 different people on the phone. They all lie. They all pretend everything is sorted. It never ever is. They insisted I pay my own return fees for having received a completely stupid wrong item. The return postage is more then the actual cost of the item. They insisted I would get this money back straight away. Another lie. It is impossible to get any sense from them anymore. They just ask for information they already have and then tell you it's all sorted. That's it. That's all they do. They do nothing else.

Had iets besteld bij Amazon, 4 juli ontvangen niet goed. Blijkt het door marketplace gestuurd. Moet ik 24 euro betalen om het retour te zenden. Het is nu 22 juli nog geen terugbetaling gehad. Je denkt dat je bij Amazon besteld en dan komt het uit China.Bestel vanaf nu niets meer bij Amazon want je wordt gewoon belazerd. Had ik ook bij AliExpress kunnen bestellen. Goedkoper.
Amazon Marketplace - Nie wieder!
Ich bin absolut unzufrieden mit meiner Erfahrung bei amazon.de Marketplace. Es gab keinen Kundenservice, der mir weiterhelfen konnte. Retoure wurde teuer bezahlt, aber Produktpreis landete nie wieder auf dem Konto, was bei verdächtiger Produktqualität besonders ärgerlich ist. Die Ware kam aus China, was zwar vorher ersichtlich war, aber trotzdem durch Amazon im Risiko gedeckt schien. Die Lieferzeit war auch extrem lang für Amazon Verhältnisse.
Der Kundenservice blieb ohne Reaktion. Ich kann nur jedem raten: Finger weg von diesem Shop!

This is deceptive if not Fraudulent of Amazon
Amazon says agent information was wrong and I have yo return item.
Q and A says seller has to provide pre paid label, but seller has ignored this request and is no longer with Amazon.
So Amazon have told me I have to return the item to a seller no longer with them at my expense.
Yet the company I have to return it to is obviously still with Amazon and associated ith Amazon. This is underhand.

Erneut wurde meine Bestellungen die über Amazon-Marketplace bei ULROAD Germany erfolgt sind
seitens des Verkäufers storniert.
Die Bestellung ist auch aus meinen Bestellugnen verschwunden, somit kann über Amazon keine Bewertung mehr erfolgen.

Es wurde über den Amazon Marketplace eine Bestellung bei einem Händler aufgegeben. Tage später wurde diese storniert, da der Artikel nicht mehr lieferbar war.
Meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen nach geht Amazon hier sehr nachlässig gegenüber ihren Kunden um. Im Vordergrund steht wohl nur das abgreifen der Provision.
Insgesamt ist der Marktplace vor allem bei Problemen sehr Kundenunfreundlich. Ich werde zukünftig meine Bestellungen generell über Amazon reduzieren.

Pessima esperienza, ho dovuto buttare l’articolo direttamente all’isola ecologica, arrivato con imballaggio rotto in diverse parti dal buco ho constatato che la merce non era protetta da nylon o pluribool, la stoffa era macchiata e mancavano pezzi. Risultato finale: faccio la richiesta di reso che ovviamente sono a mio carico. Articolo che arriva dalla Spagna spese di spedizione a mio carico € 25,00 spese di spedizione per effettuare il reso € 50,00. Praticamente ho buttato via € 102,00 ed ovviamente Amazon se ne la lava le mani, rasenta la truffa e sinceramente dopo questa triste esperienza non comprerò più niente da Amazon definirli disonesti è un complimento

Again I have been frustrated by Chinese Market place sellers who use Amazons great returns policy (which some would say largely explains their success ) to their advantage
These sellers say they will refund your purchase if you are not satisfied. Sure but .… I bought a pair of shoes for £50 , they were stated correct size 9 uk but were far too small . So I asked to return them . Delighted messaged the Chinese seller but you must first pay the postage and we will refund if item received in perfect condition.
The scam is you are given an address label to a town somewhere in China which I fixed to the package. Took it to the post office the cost to post was £38 ! ! All designed to deter you from returning the item
One Chinese seller asked why I did not consider giving my item to a friend as a present .

J'ai 78 ans et j'ai fait la bêtise de me laisser séduire par le prix bas d'un disque dur Seagate proposé sur le Marketplace d'Amazon .
J'ai reçu sous huitaine un disque dur défectueux reconnu par aucune de mes 3 stations d'accueil. Bilan : j'ai du demander à mon fils de m'imprimer un bon de retour, j'ai du refaire le colis, prendre ma voiture pour le déposer dans un relais pickup DPD à 2 kms de chez moi et, en pénalité, j'ai du payer 13,45 euros de port en Colissimo que l'allemand NIERLE refuse de me rembourser. J'en ai fini des Marketplaces AMAZON situé hors de France.
Amazon Marketplace not fit for purpose
The seller - Eson Direct - sent the wrong products. They said it was the fault of their despatcher but further investigation revealed they were out of stock of the ordered product. So I tried to return the product and get my money back. I have to travel to the post office, pay parcel postage + insurance + signed delivery and send a copy of my receipts (more postage costs)to amazon marketplace. Why do I have all this hassle? This was not my fault. Just send me a return postage sticker and then refund my payment. This all seems too complicated for the brain dead working at Amazon. NEVER AGAIN

I returned jeans to Basic.de in Herford, West Germany.
registered mail, for a refund. I mailed the jeans at great expense on May 8, 2023. I bought them through Amazon.de Marketplace. Am still waiting for a response.
