Consistent late delivery of orders
I have ordered two items in separate orders in the last month. First order took almost 3 weeks to arrive. The second order I am currently awaiting delivery of course late again. What amazon do not seem to realize - I ordered the items from them, they take no responsibility what soever and there is no means of contacting them. Suffice to say I am considering deleting my account with them.
Refuse to refund broken item
Have been paying prime for years and was very happy with Amazon in Germany.
Completely different story in Ireland. Late or no delivery at all on several occasions. Now one item arrived completely broken. OK, hairband. AnPost return label provided by Amazon. Went to AnPost they refused to take the package as it is more than 20kg. Amazon now says i have to ship the package myself back to the UK and may get a refund.
I ordered on .ie. the carriers explicitly say they're service is not for Amazon returns. So basically impossible to return.
Amazon just says that's the only option and they won't replace the broken item or refund.
Absolutely disgusted
Absolutely disgusted. First time ordering, I received parcel early with 2 items stated on the box but 1 item missing. Waited the 48 hours as informed, in fact 72 hours and still no item. As I said it was my first time ordering and it will certainly be my last. If I could give zero stars I would. Very very annoyed 😠.
Delivery always late…
Hate the way you order for a specific date, to go on the site looking for your product to see where it is and the delivery has been rescheduled. You’re paying extra to have it delivered on time!!! Never using them again. It’s happening too often. More reliable out there thank you
Terrible experience 1st order....
1st order with Amazon.ie box came half broken,one of my products was not the one I ordered ,it is near to impossible to speak to someone,luckily I did she couldn't see what went wrong despite telling her it's not what I ordered ,then I asked for email to send a picture she said something faintly and when I asked her to repeat she basically hang up ,the delivery took a week despite being in Ireland, appalling the way costumers are treated ,I have for years used amazon.uk and have never had any issues ,I will only shop from now on from amazon.uk and never from amazon.ie

Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service. The start chatting button just brings up a myriad of adverts. Bought a Kenwood Food Processor in October. Only used it 3 times and it stopped working. Managed to contact Amazon twice only for them to tell me the same thing each time that the seller is no longer with Amazon and no further details. My initial contact with them was good! AI generated responses that gave me the impression that if I couldn't contact the seller that they would organise a refund. But now I can't even contact Amazon!!

Amazon.ie is awful. When you search an item, all you get are cheap sponsored dupes of what you're looking for.
Shipping is also really slow, it shouldn't take over a week for a skincare item

prime is a joke if your in Ireland, its more like next month with them, never delivery on time or when they say its due today, but in fact it never comes, I have cameras at my house as proof that no one has come near my door all day & I outside the house too. Appalling customer services not one UK or IRE person to chat to, all florigens who have no clue, can bearly understand English! No empathy. Charged me twice from prime after I cancelled & lied to me about it!
Simply not fit for purpose
Simply cannot understand how they have messed this up so badly, with very few exceptions items are more expensive then ordering from the UK site and will take longer to deliver, that's if they even list the items in the first place. I check back periodically and it doesn't change, can't find the majority of the items I can find on the UK site and when found it's slower and more expensive, why bother?

I am writing to express my absolute outrage regarding the abysmal service I have received from Amazon.ie. This is, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with an online retailer.
The primary reason for my fury is your blatant disregard for delivery commitments. The displayed delivery dates are apparently nothing more than a complete fiction. You consistently fail to meet the promises made at the time of purchase, and the lack of reliability is utterly unacceptable. It is incredibly frustrating to plan around a delivery window only for it to be ignored without any accountability.
Your service is disgraceful, and the level of incompetence regarding your shipping timelines is staggering. I expect much better from a company of this size, but this experience has been a total failure.

Ordered a Rasberry Pi unit, the Amazon delivery guy in Cork threw it over the fence, I live in a gated community with 50 people, you must be pretty stupid hoping it would end up magically in my postbox. Why don't you just throw it in a field somewhere and hope for the best?? I don't know where Amazon get these people, no responsibility nor common sense whatsoever.

You would think living in Ireland you could avail of next day/48hr delivery...not a hope....prime delivery takes a week!!! Can order from amazon uk & get a 48hr delivery. Customer Service is a bot, absolutely disgraceful & will go back to amazon uk for all future deliveries

Delivery rubbish
They hitched their wagon to An Post and its a disaster. Everything, now I mean everything, is days or weeks late. Makes ordering pointless. Amazon was already gone rubbish but .ie will be the death of them in Ireland. How they haven't pivoted to another delivery company is a complete mystery.
