After getting 10 quotes for solar I went with alternative energy. Lads were able to solve issues with access to my fuseboard and install was done with very little disruption. They were also at the end of the phone or text with any questions I has post install. I have recommended them to all my neighbours.

Alternative Energy installed 15 panels, 2 batteries and everything that comes with it for us. We went through a few iterations of the exact specs; all our queries were always answered quickly and we never had to wait long on our new quotes and calculations. Installation took just over a day and the team left the place cleaner than it was before. All the ESB paperwork was taken care of and the office followed up to make sure our BER cert went in on time and correctly. Highly recommended

Given the hype around PV at the moment Alternative Energy provided a great system for us at a great price. PV and battery performing well and the savings have already been seen on electricity bills. Thanks Jerome/Ronan. Barry

Got a number of quotes and despite having one lower than AE I opted to spend the extra as my conversations with Jerome instilled confidence. Every interaction was professional yet friendly, including, most importantly, installation day. As it transpired it was the hottest day of the year , thankfully everything went well. The array on the roof blends in nicely and we're seeing savings already: incidentally our BER saw a significant leap following the install. Have no hesitation recommending AE and would be my first post of call if we move house

Our solar panels were fitted to the milking parlour and cow shed rooves. A crew arrived to fit the panels after the morning milking and worked until the job was completed - so the evening milking ran a bit late, but there was no other disturbance to our schedule. The job was completed to a high standard, and the lads tidied up after themselves before they left. Unlike many other contractors, the work did not drag on.

We applied for a TAMS grant for the solar panels, and I have to say that Alternative Energy went above and beyond in helping me collate all the right documents, in the right format to present to the Department of Agriculture. This wasn't an easy task and I thank Corinna and Jerome for their support with this. It's a great pity that the Department of Agriculture don't work with the same efficiency and professionalism as Alternative Energy.

We now look forward to mitigating the extortionate increases in energy costs by producing our own solar power to help power the milking machine and to cool the milk in summer.
