I have nothing but praise for the experience I have received today. I booked a structural and damp engineer to assess my cracked rendering and inside damp and received exceptional service. Abba’s professionalism, knowledge and courteous nature was second to none. His advice and approach to my situation was faultless and I would like to say thank you. I would not hesitate in recommending not only him but the other staff I have dealt with at Alpine. From booking this appointment onwards it was excellent customer service.

I had a wondeful experience today. Abbas was very attentive and did a very good job surveying. I would highly recommended him to carry oit works on property. Thank you very much.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They agree to carry out work, site visits, calculations and drawings for a set fee, all agreed in writing, and then don't supply you what you've paid for. Happy to take your money, just not happy to do the work. Not only do you not get the structural drawings, but the report you do get is poorly written with so many spelling mistakes and poor fluency that you can't actually use the report. Avoid this company at all costs.

We had a retaining wall with significant cracks. We had previously had another engineer look at it and got nowhere, so we're very pleased with Abbas's knowledgeable and courteous approach. He assessed the wall and came up with options that worked for us and answered all my questions.

Brinde understood the structural engineering need clearly and what we needed the structural survey to assess. Abbas the Structural Engineer was very courteous and provided a clear explanation of defects in the flat roof felting, state of water penetration and assessment of original roof joists whilst on site. He also discussed with us the possible remedial solutions. We await the report.

Dealing with the office to get a quote was seamless, and Abbas was able to come the next day due to a cancellation - this was very much appreciated. Abbas arrived on time and was polite and respectful of our house while carrying out the survey. Report was sent promptly . Both Abbas and Alpine were easy to deal with - would recommend.

Abbas from Alpine Surveys came to our house to conduct a structural inspection, and I was very impressed with his service. He carefully checked all the areas I requested and was extremely thorough and patient throughout the process. After completing the first round of inspection, he called me to provide a verbal summary of the results and to confirm whether I had any questions. For the additional concerns I raised, he even arranged a video call to explain everything in detail, which gave me a much better understanding of the property and completely put my mind at ease. He later provided a professional and comprehensive written report. I’m very satisfied with his work and definitely recommend him!

We instructed Alpine surveys to carry out a combined inspection including a condition survey, structural assessment, and damp investigation. From start to finish, Abbas the structural surveyor, was highly professional, thorough, and attentive to detail. The level of service we received went above and beyond our expectations, and we were very satisfied with the comprehensive and clear reporting provided. We would not hesitate to recommend him and the firm.

Exceptional service from initial contact to finish. I required a detailed survey of a timber structure that had suffered extensive water damage over time. Mark called me to explain how thorough the inspection would be, (I had lots of questions) which gave me real confidence. On the day, the surveyor, Miraj, personally called me to go over some specific requests I had, which was incredibly helpful and much appreciated. Alpine Surveys are a truly brilliant firm with outstanding service. I highly recommend them.

Professional, courteous and efficient, simply spot on.
I had a survey conducted a year ago, which was effortless and well organised, with a comprehensive report. A year on, having lost my report, 3 emails and an hour later the report was resent. No dramas. Just good old fashioned service, very rare these days.

Unfortunately I have a had a very negative service from this company

I contacted the company in January 2025 for a survey and planning application

Was told in February by James Forward that the application will be submitted before he leaves the company in February - this did not happen

After many emails - someone finally submitted the wrong application in April

After I complained - James Forward returned to the company on a consultancy basis. He submitted an application with 'insufficient information' which was rejected

They will not help me with an appeal - as it is beyond theiir expertise

No one from the company, including director Mark Dobson, will return my calls

A very disappointing experience with James Forward and Apline Surverys

Everyone that I spoke to at Alpine was extremely helpful and a breath of fresh air having previously dealt with a poor surveyor. Brinde was excellent at explaining the details around the Structural Engineers Report and very helpful at getting everything booked in. On the day of the survey, Abbas called me to understand and make sure he would cover every in the report that I’d requested. I’d highly recommend Alpine.

I had the pleasure of working with Abbas Ladonni from Alpine Surveys recently, and I must say he was exceptional. My original surveyor was unavailable, and Abbas stepped in to help me understand my Level 3 survey – a task that would have been daunting given my complete lack of experience in surveying or housing. He expertly broke down the complex information in a clear and concise manner, making it easily digestible even for a complete novice like myself.

Abbas was incredibly efficient and readily available to answer my calls and address my concerns. His technical knowledge was clearly extensive, and he provided reassurance throughout the process. He is a valuable asset to Alpine Surveys, and I wholeheartedly recommend him. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Really pleased with the service from Alpine surveys. I received clear and quick communication with them from the start including a quote. I was really pleased with the survey from structural engineer Abbas, he called me on the day after the survey and explained key points to me so that I was able to make a decision about a house purchase. The written survey was clear and thorough. I had previously gotten a level 3 house buying survey which had lots of general and vague information in it, whereas this survey was concise and relevant to the specific property I was purchasing which was very helpful. Would highly recommend Abbas and Alpine surveys!

We were lucky to have had Abbas as our structural engineer, after receiving the general and undetailed RICS Survey report, we finally got the specific and detailed reports of the property and most importantly, we got the recommendations and the estimated remedial cost from our engineer Abbas, which helps us to have an idea about the refurbishment cost. I thought their service was excellent . They recommended Abbass for the structural survey and he is the best engineer I’ve met. He is patient answering every query and going into every detail I requested . The customer service was prompt and professional too. Highly recommend !
