I had been procrastinating on filing a trademark because I thought it would be complicated. Alphatrademarks made it so easy! Their team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Received communication that unless I used them to file a trademark they would go ahead and file for another company. This is the second or third time I have received this email. As with another reviewer, I was contacted via phone about a trademark I filed for in 2020-21. A heavily accented gentleman named Cody Wagner texted me about the trademark. After some discussion, an Andrew Martin was looking to acquire a trademark I previously applied for. Cody became very aggressive in whatever he wanted me to do. I went to the website to complain and got connected to Scott West (also heavily accented) and went through the same rigamarole. This seems to be a boilerplate workflow with them. I was told if I didn't follow their instructions, I would be blacklisted by the USPTO. I do believe this is a heavy-handed approach to get people to pay for their services, which is basically trying to get trademarks to sell. On the phone with the USPTO. Will report back.

This is absolutely a scam. They claim someone else is trying to trademark your abandoned trademark, charge a fee to and then bill you for the USPTO fees in advance.
