All thanks to alert driving school i was able to pass my test with ease and confidence. From the first lesson jay makes you feel so comfortable and assured in your ability to drive . Over and over again hr had patience on things I struggled with and the lesson was worth every penny paid. From giving you tips and tricks to having a playlist adapted and sending you videos on how to become a better driver jay takes his time to ensure his students have all the resources necessary to pass. As he always said we are not here to play! Thank you again could never thank you enough Alert Driving School🥳🤞🏼

I just passed my driving test and can only give credit to Jay for his patience and teaching skills. No questions ever went un-answered and no lesson went to waste. Quick progress is hard to be achieving went talking about driving because it all comes down to each individual’s skills however Jay somehow finds a way to make sure that you’re never left behind and you always go home with something new learnt. His ability to make you comfortable straight from the beginning is what makes ALERT driving school so special, building a relationship on trust and motivation rather than a teacher-student interaction. I wouldn’t hesitate twice to say that ALERT driving school is worth all your money, time and trust.

It was my first lesson with Jay and he made me feel very comfortable and at ease. We covered a lot within just 2 hours and made full use of the time. In comparison to my previous driving instructor I would say Jay’s method of teaching is better and easier to understand and follow.

I’m very glad to have learnt with Jay at Alert Driving School. He is a great teacher, who helped support me throughout the pandemic, by trying to give me as many regular lessons as he could. Not only did he make me a good driver, he made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. Lessons with him were fun whilst being relaxing. Driving with him is like hanging out with a friend. He won’t waste any time during the lessons and within the first 30 mins of my first lesson I was already driving on main roads. I will miss doing driving lessons with him. I would recommend this driving school to all my friends and family no doubt because I loved learning how to drive and now love driving.

I recently passed my Practical Driving Test and thanks to my instructor, Jay.
Jay kept me comfortable and confident throughout my lessons. As he is a teacher by profession, he used simple but effective steps to correct my weak areas. Concentrated and corrected even my smallest mistakes to improve my driving style. I passed in my first attempt. Within a month now I’m driving independently with full confidence both on city roads and motorways.

I was completely new to driving and passed my test so quickly with the great support at Alert Driving School! They are very professional and passionate! My instructor communicated with me in the lessons and made sure I knew exactly what I was doing every step of the way. He was patient, kind, and funny which always put me at ease.The best instructor for sure!!

Previous to learning with alert driving school I was intimidated and anxious behind the wheel. Not knowing what I was doing wrong or how to drive effectively and efficiently. Jay taught me everything I know, he taught me that driving isn’t just about the basic gear change it’s about being alert & aware on the roads. I can say that I am now a confident, comfortable driver. Jay’s technique of teaching is unmatched, he accommodates for each students specific needs. Spotting exactly where & how we need to improve. Working with Jay is a pleasure and I feel incredibly lucky to have been recommended to him (by multiple friends of mine). His end aim is always to insure his students aren’t with him for long, and on the roads asap. A massive thank you to Alert Driving School, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Where to start jay alert driving school most definitely the best out there. After arranging my first lesson with jay I was expecting to go to the lesson and just receive the same old basic lesson and your standard driving instructor, but I was greeted by a man who instantly makes you feel like a good friend the first 20 mins of that lesson jay decided to do a little mock test and treated that time like an actual test when we pulled up at the side of a road I was shocked to receive such straight forward no beating round the bush discussion on my driving we spoke through all base’s where I was going wrong jay then took over for 10-20 minutes on a demo drive. While jay was driving he was also explaining both how your supposed to drive compared to my driving and what a difference I feel that maybe jay gave me a 30% pass chance before jay done a demo drive we then switched back round and i continue to drive a few more tips and hint on my driving and that went up to 90% without jay being straight forward and actually explaining where I was going wrong I don’t think it would have been possible I was only able to give jay 7 hours to get me ready for the test but he did it he got me to the point where i was ready and I went out on my test and passed if I hadn’t received that straight forward no beating round the bush discussion I don’t think i would have ever been ready and if you are worried and work and fitting in lessons jay offers some great hours definitely recommend

I learnt to drive with Jay over 2 years ago now and still recommend him to everyone I know who needs to find an instructor. His approach to teaching is second to none, his friendly demeanour and personable character make every lesson enjoyable and something to look forward to. I never felt silly when making mistakes or felt that I had to apologise for every small error I made as Jay ensured the environment he taught in was conducive to my learning and was encouraging throughout the entire process, mistakes included!

I’ve had a few different instructors and can attest to Jays ability to make the lessons fun, efficient, and great value for money. Will always recommend Alert driving school!
