DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Here's what happened:

I signed up two separate companies with Albiware—ABC Restoration (Feb 2025) and A Better Contractor (July 2025). Two different entities. Two different contracts. Different user counts and business purposes.

Starting immediately in July 2025, A Better Contractor was billed for ABC Restoration's subscription—in addition to our own. This continued unchecked for 11 MONTHS. Over $12,000 in fraudulent billing.

When I discovered the error in August 2026 and reported it to our account rep Margarita and her manager Adam in September 2025, I was told it was "handled." It wasn't. The overbilling continued.

After an internal audit confirmed $12k+ in unauthorized charges, I escalated to Albiware's payments department, customer service, Margarita, and Adam. We've now spent over a month going in circles with zero resolution, zero explanation, and zero accountability.

Adam promised a callback "EOD Wednesday 7/22/26." That was days ago. No callback. No emails. No response. Complete radio silence from management.

This isn't a billing glitch. This is negligence compounded by willful ghosting. Their system failed to segregate two separate accounts. Their customer service lied about fixing it. Their management abandoned the conversation.

If you value your money and your time, build your own AI solution. Don't trust Albiware with either.

Rating: 1/5 - Would be zero if possible.

Our company, Restoration Masters LLC, canceled our Albiware account in writing on June 30, 2025. Albiware acknowledged our cancellation on July 1, and we completed an offboarding call on July 3.

Despite this, we were still charged $310 on July 13, with no services rendered and no valid agreement in place.
Albiware has refused to issue a refund, ignored final deadlines, and failed to respond to our last formal email. We have since filed a bank dispute and are sharing our experience publicly to warn other businesses.

Charging after cancellation—without a valid agreement—is not just bad practice, it’s unethical.

We had an Albiware sales team called non-stop to try and earn our business for months. Once we actually decide to give a try we were told that if we did not like the platform we could get a full refund. We basically paid for the whole entire year subscription but only used a month of it. After numerous back and forward emails to cancel, now they are telling us that the contract we signed they do not give refund. We were using Housecall Pro before jumping onto Albiware also with a full year subscription, I mention that to Albi sales rep and he responded that they should give us a refund from Housecall Pro which they were going to. I would stay away from Albiware they are such a un-ethical company and crooks. Paid 3,500 dollars for a year and now we lost that money.

As a restoration company owner, I wanted to share my experience with Albiware to help others make an informed decision.

The biggest issue: Their Drybook feature proved unusable in the field, forcing us to switch to different software mid-job on two separate occasions. For restoration companies, this is a serious problem - proper documentation is essential for getting paid and protecting ourselves legally.

Other concerns:
- Customer service was unresponsive; multiple follow-ups needed for simple billing issues
- Was promised a fee waiver that wasn't honored until after several weeks of reaching out
- Software is overly complicated for field use
- $1,000 implementation fee charged despite software being unusable for our core needs

While their team seems nice and the concept is promising, I cannot recommend Albiware in its current state. The risk to your documentation process and the customer service challenges make it too risky for restoration companies.

Positives:
- Team is polite in communication
- They are apparently working on improvements

Bottom line: I'd wait until they've addressed their core functionality issues before considering this software for your restoration business.

Five Stars for Albi.
We started using Albi one month ago. I could not be happier with the decision. As an owner losing time to useless date entry over multiple platforms is frustrating. Albi has almost everything I need in one platform. The link to Encircle is coming soon! The training time for my team was minimal. One of my technicians took it upon herself to jump in and create projects. She needed a few minor tweaks and now she is a pro. The time it has saved me from training is worth it alone.
We review the dashboard daily which has helped us drive productivity and efficiency.
If you are looking for an easy to use system Albi is the one for you.

I love Albiware. It has everything you need. It saves you such much money when using it correctly. It´s absolutely amazing.

We shifted CRMs in the middle of an extremely busy season and I was a little worried. The responsiveness and flexibility of ALBI and Albiware team has been amazing! We have no regrets!! We have never had better details and notes in our files and it has NEVER been easier to add them. We are so happy we made the transition. It was relatively seamless and easy. We were able to keep all of our previous data and update files with all the new details of the job. I highly recommend Albi

So far Albi has been great. It is still in it's early development but the dev team listens to our needs and adds the functionality that we require FAST!
