My husband purchased this wallet thinking it was American made based on the name of the company. He should have researched better. However it was already purchased when I looked into the company. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and telling him it will be fine the reviews were decent. Unfortunately when it finally arrived we were extremely disappointed. The wallet is not stitched through and was coming apart to the point that you can see the glue that was used to slap it together. Definitely not a quality leather product. It looks cheap and was a complete waste of money.

Expect to pay tariffs and duty taxes
The leather bag was nice but paying the duty tax by an unexpected FedEx bill was not expected. Tariffs and fees are not paid by Alaskan Leather Company. This company ships products in from Pakistan.
The company posted a reply, which is NOT true. I am still getting bills from FedEx despite my appeal to Alaskan Leather company and FedEx.

All duties are covered by us for the U.S and you dont have to pay any duties. Since the introduction of new regulation you might would have received a small Fedex bill (around $9), same bill is also forwarded to our shipping partner and they will handle these costs.
Therefore you dont have to pay any tariffs or duty as we would cover those costs completely.
We procure our inventroy from a couple of other countries, you can also take a look at our story on our website.
Using Alaskan leather
Ordering from the website was easy. Great product but it was packed so that it was terribly creased when my wife opened it.

Great service and quality product
Very happy with this company and their products. Purchased a leather backpack as a gift. Product was shipped a couple of days after order, and shipping was reasonably quick, considering it was from Karachi to the US. Quality of the backpack looks to be very good, quality leather w/ no defects, zippers look sturdy, and great looking overall. I highly recommend this company.

High quality goods and great customer service
The customer service at Alaskan Leather was really great! My spam filter prevented the automatic email with order confirmation, but they quickly replied with the order confirm, number and tracking information as soon as it was ready. Shipping was super quick, getting my gift delivered on time and the bag ordered is high quality, really gorgeous and exactly as I was expecting and hoping for

I love my new jacket so much! It looks great, it fits perfectly, and I love how light it is. I’m used to a heavy motorcycle jacket weighing me down, but this is so comfortable to wear, even with a sweater underneath. I’m sure I’ll be enjoying it for many years to come.
