We had a Solar PV system installed by AK Solar in February of this year. Initial contact was with Ken who didn't give us a hard sell, but just outlined the benefits of his proposed installation. The hardware was installed in one day, cleanly and efficiently, by a friendly crew.
We have had a couple of hiccups since then but each of these problems were sorted out very quickly after a phone call to Clare, who runs a tight ship.
We're still learning about solar energy, and our system in particular, but have no doubt that AK Solar will assist us on our learning journey.
We have no hesitation in recommending AK Solar to anyone thinking about installing a Solar PV system, and you should be. 2 bills in we're in credit with our supplier.

Excellent to deal with. Great communication. Tidy work and really happy with our system . We have had 10 solar panels fitted, inverter and battery.

We got 13 panels, an Eddie water diverter, hybrid inverter and battery installed by AK in October 2022, from requesting a quote to the after sales service they were a pleasure to deal with. Arrived on the day they said they would, great communication the whole way through. They took the time to run the wires in a way that they were hidden from sight, not just the shortest way and set up the apps on our phones and explained fully how to use the system. I'd highly recommend them.

It's now Aug '23 and our panels have so far preformed better than expected

AK Solar installed 11 panels and Inverter for me on 1/8/23. Arrived just after 8am and completed in half a day. Very professional and efficient and very neat job. I would highly recommend them. Only pity is they can’t supply sunshine ☀️Patricia McCormack

From the initial sales consultation and a lead-time of 6 weeks to the install the whole process was all very smooth. Ken wasn't pushy with the Sales pitch which isn't always the case with Sales ppl. The 4-man team for the install did an excellent job and were very helpful with any queries on the day itself. The team at AK Solar are excellent and I would highly recommend them for PV installs.

Fantastic service from AKSolar - gave firm date and time for installation - two highly professional teams (roofers and electricians) worked solidly and were happy to explain anything in detail. Left the place as tidy as they found it and were cheefrful and polite throughout.
I strongly recommend them to anyone considering solar - it's a fair price for a great job with immaculate service!

AK we’re great to deal with from start to finish. Ken was great to deal with. As a newbie to solar he had all the time and patience for me when he had the site visit and answered all my queries.
The guys that came out to install we fantastic and so punctual. Panels were up in no time and the electricians had me live by 1pm.
Would highly recommend AKSolar to one and all.

This company was recommended by my neighbour and it turned out to be great advice. Everyone in AK Solar is very professional and responsive and the Solar PV was installed ahead of schedule. Not the cheapest I found but I think their reputation is worth a little extra. Lots of companies are offering cheap installs but will they be around for after sales service - AK Solar are a long established company with a proven track record.

Really pleased with my PV install with Ak Solar, from the competive quote through to the install and after sales service. Professional, friendly, thorough, efficient. Answered all my picky questions without batting an eye.

Dealing with the AKSOLAR Team has been great. I found them to be very competitive on price, highly responsive to email and phone calls and really a pleasure to deal with. Ken the sales rep did a home visit within days of contacting them and took the time to explain the various options open to me. The visit also included a drone survey of the roof. The roof install was done in a day by a 4 man team due to the 45 degree pitched roof. Follow on site visit by the electrician to complete the connection. Inverter install is very neat, as are the panels and associated cabling. A really professional install.

AK.Solar is such a professional service, take everything in their control, paper work for SEAI Grant, so helpful assist with everything so have no stress, work completed in matter of hours, highly recommend AK.Solar 100% satisfactory!!

AK Solar were great to deal with from start to finish.
Salesman was not pushy and listened to what we wanted to have installed. Our panels were installed 5 weeks after we signed our contract. The install team are a friendly and professional bunch of lads who were happy to explain what they planned to do and we're delighted with the cabling.
The office team have been very helpful too!

AK Solar were very responsive from responding to my request for a quote, to the installation timeframe (6 weeks from contract signing). They had been recommended through a Facebook Group that I followed.
The salesman quickly provided a quote with three options, and although I wanted a basic, cheaper system, he was not pushy and even went on to point out how that would work very well for me. This experience made me decide that I would like to do business with this company. When the quote was official, confirmed after the site visit, and very good value, I did not wait for any other respondents and signed the contract with AK Solar.
The install team arrived as agreed and were a very pleasant group of lads. They just got on with the job and were done in a "long half-day". They knew what they were doing, discussed their plan and consulted me for any specific requirements I might have and accommodated these. Great representatives for AK Solar.
The office staff who dealt with the invoices and paperwork were happy to answer any questions I had during the 6 weeks (and afterwards), things like what the next steps were etc.
Happy to say that all the contacts, and contact points, that I had with AK Solar were as good as that first telephone call with the salesman, and my system is running perfectly.
I've already recommended this company to a number of people and I do so without hesitation.

Chatted to a few different providers and AK Solar were miles ahead. Was so happy with initial consultation and then installation. Very friendly bunch and installation was very efficient and done very tidily. Delighted with them :)

I had a 4kW system installed by AK. Finished system works beyond expectations. Couldn't be happier. Dealing with the company was simple as they are so professional and timely in their responses. In addition to this they are extremely accommodating. The installation process itself was surprisingly seamless in that not a single work from home day for me was interrupted! Couldn't recommend AK solar enough for anyone wishing to install panels.

Really happy with our installation today. Only took three hours for 12 panels, eddi diverter and solis inverter. Lovely sunny day too so I'm getting to see the system at its best. But I can already see the benefits long term. We went without a battery but we might be back onto AK to fit one to the system down the line.
Hassle free and a great price and a really nice bunch of guys.

I had work completed by AK solar including solar panels,inverter, hot water Eddi, zappi etc. The company were very affordable compared to others. Their lead in time was short and the employees were friendly. Had a few issues with hardware but they always took a call or replied quickly. They replaced any parts that were faulty which to be fair wasn't their fault but was a manufacturer issue. This was frustrating for us but these things happen with tech.
