The initial contact was very instructive + positive. On installation day they were most efficient + neat in their work. All was done without fuss. Later, their explanation of the system was excellent. All in all, a very worthwhile experience.

AK Solar were great to work with. I couldnt recommend them highly enough. Very efficient, clean and friendly. Finished the job in a few hours. All the guys from the first call to Eric to Clare and everyone in between, and also a great follow up service. They completed all of the paperwork from start to finish which was a bonus.

This is the second time we've used AK Solar and they are always a pleasure to work with. They're fast and efficient. Each step of the way they keep you informed of what is happening and if anything is required.

Had AK Solar do my install last week they arrived on the appointed day in the morning completed the install in a very timely fashion and removed all boxes wrapping etc. Job was very tidy and crew extremely efficient. From the first phone call to final commission of the system dealing with AK Solar was a pure pleasure. They explained options, benefits and suitability bespoke to ourselves. We were recommended AK Solar by a friend. This was very useful as the whole solar arena is a minefield if you are exploring for the first time. Eric was great he talked me through then Clare was a fantastic support . On the day the solar panel lads came and went it was uneventful. The next day the electricians came they did the installation in the attic and hot press and then spent time installing and showing me all the apps. What was really nice was their attitude. Nothing was an issue they even offered to call by any evening as I was on their way home if I had questions re apps or anything else. Genuine,nice people.

Contacted, installed, cleaned, explained. Same day installation. Very professional. All paperwork done in minutes.

I ordered panels and a battery in November 2024
The System was due to be installed before Xmas but due to Holyhead issues that got delayed, the communication from AK Solar was excellent on this.
The system was installed in 2 parts between the 10th and 15th of Jan 2025.
The Work was quick and very tidy. The system is working well and any queries I had about it were promptly answered.
AK also use the more advanced Aiko panels rather than the Jinko ones, they offer more wattage and a newer.

Recommended company. From first contact all the way to install they have provided a high quality service. All staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Very tidy work at the right price.

I cannot recommend AK Solar enough! From start to finish, Clare, the operational manager, was an absolute delight to work with. During our initial conversation, Clare took the time to explain the system they supply in detail, making everything easy to understand. She assured me of their quality workmanship and mentioned they're a family-run business that truly takes pride in their work, and she was spot on!

Eric, the salesman, was also incredibly helpful during the site visit. He walked me through various potential locations for the battery and inverter installation and pinpointed the perfect spot where the cables could run from the attic to the fuse board with minimal drilling.

Frankie, the electrician, was brilliant! He was so friendly and kind and did a super neat job wiring up the inverter and battery in the attic. He did all the work by himself and was super clean you wouldn't know he was there!

Alan, who is a roofer by trade, took good care when installing the panels, ensuring everything was done to the highest standard. The team installed the solar panels in just half a day and even future-proofed my system by adding an additional string to the shunt, allowing for more panels to be added later if I choose.

Overall, I’m thrilled with the system and how it was set up. If you’re considering solar, I would 100% recommend them to anyone starting their solar journey as their reviews speak to themselves!

They also provided me with a competitive quote compared to other companies i've contacted!

From beginning to the end it was easy to deal with these guys all the questions were answered all the job was done in one day. After sale contact with the companies also very good.
