I hired AIS August 2024 to help me develop a betting app. The project started out well, I would get daily updates and progress reports of all the work they did. But then within a couple months the daily updates started becoming less frequent and it was almost as if they forgot about my app or it wasn't important to them once they got my money. It's been over a year dealing with this company and til this day, they still can't deliver me an app that works correctly. I ended up having to hire another development company to finish the job. I've asked them numerous times to give me a partial refund for not completing the project, but they insist that they'll finish the job, which is redundant since the app was already completed by another development company.

Long story short, AIS Tech couldn't deliver a complete app for me. I spent almost $40,000 on AIS and then another $14,000 to another developer to finish what AIS couldn't deliver. AIS fell short on my project and I ended up having to hire another company to finish their work.

This company lacks communication etiquette and it takes a long time to get responses from them. When I would ask them why they'd take so long to respond to my requests and they would blame the messaging apps for not getting my messages.

I really regret hiring this company for wasting my time and money.

We engaged AIS for a small project (400h estimate) and paid a $1,800 milestone deposit. Before paying, we confirmed in writing that if the work was not up to standard, the milestone would be refunded after day one. They agreed.

Our scope was simple and well-documented: Angular v20, Tailwind v4, no SCSS, and styling existing PrimeNG components (not building new ones). Instead, AIS delivered Angular v18, Tailwind v3, included SCSS, and built custom components. They also focused on application logic instead of design, which was explicitly out of scope for the initial test day. These are not matters of “quality over time” but basic versioning and requirement mismatches visible on day one so it was easy for us to see that there was not a match on quality. Luckily we've been explicit on the refund terms. At least we thought.

When we requested the refund, AIS refused. They accused us of “tricking” them, claimed one day was not enough to judge, and tried to shift blame to communication (Slack/WhatsApp groups). None of this changes the fact that their own written refund confirmation was clear and unconditional, and that the scope violations were obvious to any developer.

In the end, they kept the entire $1,800 for ~4 hours of unusable work. We were willing to pay for the work they did, despite it being unusable, but they chose to keep everything.

AIS broke their own promise and failed to deliver on basic requirements. Others should be very cautious before paying upfront milestones to this company, regardless of Trustpilot ratings. We definitely learned our lesson and ended up hiring another agency where a third party handles the escrow.

Also, notice that they dispute all negative ratings and that all the users giving good ratings only have 1 previous rating. Right now they are refusing to pay back our money because we gave this review.

AIS Technolabs is willing to go the extra mile for us. For example, before we had anything signed, they returned and gave us some research and plans on how they would develop the platform. Also, their pricing is very competitive.

They never said no, and if they didn’t know how to do a task, they would find the answer. For the credit card processing features, they referred us to another provider that put everything together. AIS Technolabs is an all-inclusive shop where we got everything done.

We're very happy with the product. AIS was able to proof of concept out in about a week. We were very impressed with how quickly they were able to get through the first phase of the project. We're nearly done with the app.
