I’ve been using Airtime for a while now, and it is easily one of the best money-saving apps on my phone. On average, the cashback I earn pays for my mobile bill for 5 full months out of the year! It completely takes the sting out of a recurring monthly cost. You just link your cards, shop at your usual places, and watch the credit build up passively. Cannot recommend it enough if you want free money off your phone bill.

So easy to set up and use - just use my card as usual and end up with cash to pay off the phone bill - I've earnt £80 overtime for dojng nothing other than my usual shopping. It can take a few months for the cashback hence not giving 5 stars but otherwise highly recommend

The concept is great and most of the purchases track without issue but there are some fundamental problems that I have reported repeatedly that haven’t been fixed and soil what could be a 5 star app.
The first is that the ‘Up’ enhancement keeps disconnecting, sometimes within 24 hours of linking a card. The process to keep reconnecting when this is supposed to last 90 days is quite tedious.
The second is many of the bonus, short term offers for retailers don’t track and have to be reported manually, often more than once and taking a lot of time.
Additionally, if the current June promotion change to a prize draw from earning rewards is permanent the app won’t be worth having.

I have been with Airtime for about couple of years and encouraged friend and family to join. I was excited to see Love Holidays on their tracked system and purchased a holiday to Prague. I calculated this would get me back about £17 to out against my phone bill. This credit never came and there has been a continuous back and forth with me supplying and resulting evidence of this purchase. During which a Boots purchase has also not resulted in a credit now they want me to go and evidence this purchase but I’ve already supplied some details. In short it’s a good concept and worked well for a bit but this has broken my trust. I just received a definitive you did nit use the link to buy your holiday when I know factually I did. I was midst of responding when I thought I wonder if this is a IT glitch or a common occurrence that’s when I went to Trustpilot to find that I am not the only person that has been let down and put through this nonsense due to their poor IT system. If they cannot honour their basic concept they become untrustworthy. Sad because it seemed to be a good thing.

I have used this app for years and never had an issue until now. I am missing a redemption on my phone bill for April and I have contacted customer service with proof of phone bills, screen shots of my direct debits on my bank statements to proove the redemption did not happen and I have been ignored. Emails back and forth and I get scripted emails back for over a month! I’m £10 down and never recieved and getting ignored after saying I didn’t receive a text message saying it’s been taken off my phone bill! Really disappointed with the customer service, might aswell not have one as they don’t help at all and fobbed me off!

Its good but takes ages to get rewards back and laterly less saved you have to spend loads to get back needs more of a save over 4% plus to make worth while saving. And needs plenty more networks on board which you can link your phone number to. Other than that its great saver for money off phone bill in cost living crisis that the uk goverment seem to ignore with prices on everything going up and wages down taxes up.

Not enough rewards for shopping in shops rather than online

I signed up because of a recommendation from my phone provider but the app wouldn't work. I tried contacting Airtime but kept getting "error, try again later". I deleted the app with a request for the company to delete my personal and bank card details but they still email and track my shopping. I keep trying to message them to delete my details but just get the error message. I don't trust the company and wish I'd read the recent reviews before sending my bank card details. I just want them to cancel my membership and not hold my bank card information!

Used to be great years ago, would get loads of rewards but now hardly any of the shops I shop at are on there! Or you have to use a specific link or buy a gift card which I don't want to do. I haven't earnt a single penny in all of May! Bring back Costa coffee, m&s, next etc. I'm not interested in designer clothes brands or shein, boohoo etc
