Thank you for your review, although it is a shame to hear that you have been put off using us in the future, especially after we did go out of our way to measure multiple parts for you to ensure you were confident in ordering the correct item. We can only assume that this information has then been used to order the part elsewhere. We have no right to your orders of course, but it is important that we share this with others who will undoubtedly read your review. Our team will do our best to give customers a high level of service, and the minimum order value is in place to ensure our team is not overwhelmed with high quantities of smaller orders. The shipping cost is high compared to the value of this part, but we do use a next working day service and choose the most reliable option, which isn’t always the cheapest.

Thank you for your review.

I appreciate our pricing on some items may seem less competitive than others - with your example of oil prices; we stock oil to assist our customers but we are not a direct distributor with the manufacturer. This means our prices for some product lines may be comparatively higher. I would highly encourage using the 'Found a Better Price?' button on our website as we will attempt to better our pricing where possible.

Hi Peter,

In reply to your review, stating displeasure that we didn’t offer you the part free of charge and our higher pricing, please see below our response:

- As we have to source this from the USA, the cost of the part will be higher when compared to the pricing from the USA. Our unit price of 71p includes the shipping costs from the USA to our location.

- The minimum pack sizes are determined by our supplier, and whilst we could consider breaking down the packs and selling them individually, this would be a very time-consuming process, ultimately effecting our core business and therefore hindering the high standard of customer service we aim to achieve. There are, as you mention, companies which specialise in hardware sales and base their business on this. We tend to only sell hardware to trade customers, who prefer to buy in packs. We, like every company, cannot facilitate every customers requirements. Our model works for some, inevitably it doesn’t for others.

- We did remove the minimum spend fee for you, but your review suggests otherwise.
