Bad customer service...difficult process

In multiple occasions, I tried the call center to amend my travel dates.. After very long wait on the line, and providing my reference booking of Airmiles and the airlines twice, the customer service rep just hang off. This is an unacceptable CS by any measure. She did not even try to call me back. The app does not have an easy access chat, it costs you a lot to change a flight while with airlines flex tickets is free, and the value of the miles highly depreciated over the last 5 years. How come a reputable company does not have a free 600 or 800 number?..are they shutting down?

Something has gone very wrong with this…

Something has gone very wrong with this business - their web site advertises brands that are no longer part of their rewards programme. They have informed existing customers that the points must be used by 17 November or forfeited since HSBC is no longer partnering with them, but the options for redemption are either very poor or worse, the app has no functionality to process the redemption - e.g. talabat, sun & sand sports, etc

What a scam!

What a scam!! Nothing is working and you can’t use your air miles. No one is getting back to you on the “live chat”, and no one is responding on emails. Totally agree with the previous comments.

Awful

Awful, awful, awful. Ironic they're called a loyalty programme when their systems don't work, you cannot spend the miles as their travel shop is 'temporarily not working' and this has been the case for months now. Their staff always say 'sorry' because that's what they surely must have been told to say, and then email unknown people who then never get back on email or phone. The management are clearly clowns and cowards who wont' give their details, and too useless to come out and face the problems.

What's as bad are the HSBC and Emirates NBD people who disassociate themselves from the accounts (despite collecting the AirMiles on their cards) because "we don't manage the relationship".

So we have people in AirMiles stealing miles (what can you call it when they have what we have earned and won't give it to us to spend), and banks allowing that to happen.

So the next stage is a Police case.

Most probably the worst loyalty app in…

Most probably the worst loyalty app in the UAE. They deactivate your account without notification, and the only way to reactivate it is to make a purchase with their partners and give your Air Mile Number. To get your number, you need to login.. oh! You cannot because your account has been deactivated.

They have the best strategy to ensure users churned forever after being deactivated.

Check Shukran, Apparel Club or Blue Reward instead. Or credit cards can do better in terms of cashback.

Difficulty to update the profile

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the current process you have in place for updating a user's email address.
Recently, I contacted your help center to request a change of my actual registred email address to the New Email. To my dismay, I was asked to provide sensitive personal information as copies of two valid photo IDs (EID/Passport/Driving license), including full name, Air Miles number, mobile number, mention the Bank credit card type, and the monthly issuance date for the credit card statement, as part of the verification process. This request is not only unreasonable but also dangerous.

Requesting such sensitive information goes against common security practices and raises serious privacy concerns. As you may be aware, law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity experts strongly advise against sharing personal data and financial details in this manner due to the high risk of identity theft and fraud.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this critical issue. I look forward to your swift response.

Airmilesme is a scam

Airmilesme is a complete scam. I have been trying to redeem 59,000 airlmiles for Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios points on the Airmilesme App. When you press "Exchange Now" you receive a blank screen. I sent them a screenshot of the blank screen. For the past 2 days I have telephoned customer service on numerous occasions and I have sent emails. They told me to delete the App and then reload it - it still didn't work. Telephoned again and asked for a manager - they said someone will contact me in 24 hours. Years ago it was so easy; I telephoned airmilesme and a nice gentlemen redeemed the whole process immediately. Now they tell me that it is impossible to do it that way and everything has to be done on the App. I believe it is a scam because they know the App will not redeem the airmiles and they know that, after many many phone calls and emails, people will give up. Don't waste your time with airmilesme because they are conning people

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Please avoid this company at all costs.

I relocated countries and they closed my account and took my miles, as within the small print of their terms they note that if you do not redeem miles within 18 months of your not using your credit card they will take back the miles you have earned.

This is not shown anywhere when you access your account, only well hidden within their small print.

I would certainly avoid this company and consider other options which are much better.

We asked if the expired voucher could be honored as the amount of the voucher is almost AED 2,000 but the agent just said no without even trying other options or alternative, very cold and unhelpful, and just lazy

Customer service only answer we will revert complain to higher management. I never received any response to my complaint and just today i redeemed some of the airmiles, got confirmation it got processed but never actally received vauchers. Guess what, the answer was we will escalate to higer management and you can expect answer in two workong days. My plan was to spent vouchers today. I redeemed vouchers like 6h ago and no sign of them.

Useless service.

Poor Response from Customer Service

Poor Response from Customer Service.Done a Transaction from Sharaf DG on Feb mid 2023 and till date the points have not been credited to my airmiles Account. Sent a couple of emails but just getting a plain robotic answer that as per new policy Sharaf DG is the one to issue the points and they cant do anything. I clearly shared the invoice in which Sharaf DG did their part by adding points but it hasnt yet got credited.

Un-redeemable e-vouchers

We received e-vouchers that are redeemable at Spinneys of over AED1000 for the 140,000 airmiles. Spinneys declines to accept the e-vouchers and referred us to Airmilesme. Airmilesme claimed that they had a "technical problem," a cliché they used with other customers. The tech problem has not been resolved for weeks.

I was issued AED2000 of invalid codes…

I was issued AED2000 of invalid codes for Sharaf DG store in the UAE. Over one week and I keep getting we will expedite your complaint in 48hrs. Then nothing. The poor people on the customer service desk are powerless. They even asked me to sort the problem out myself and Sharaf DG said not our issue. Without doubt and incompetent, poor, useless company. I am utterly appalled and I think 1 star is better than they deserve

The program is good

The program is good. But customer service is very bad and they are like robots. They do not try to solve the issue, they just read a script in front of them.

I give it a 3 stars but dont expect to have any issue or question solved/answered. I have a lot of lost miles that I cannot add because of a technical issue they had before and customer service agents are really helpless (if they ever answered)

Pathetic. You can neither book flights or hotels and much better to take a cash back card. Shame on HSBC

Web site and app badly written by amateurs

Both web site and app being pushed by this company, are so badly written that its not worth the effort to try and use them. Tech support is robotic and follows a script they do not even understand, 5* app reviews are by the developers themselves and friends - it is appalling, telephone support - what use is telephone support if no one answers!

This site is promoted by HSBC ME for customer loyalty - more likely as a way of conning its customers into thinking their loyalty actually means something.

One star is a complement for this site - this company could not direct traffic in a one way street!
