AIFS is excellent at all levels. Not only do they facilitate the learning process for students with efficiency and with an attention to every detail, but they are also staffed by friendly and skilled people who go out of their way to help faculty and students. With AIFS, you know you are in good hands.
Their classrooms are also equipped with the appropriate technology, and there are always staff at hand willing to help, if necessary. They also communicate well with the students and faculty, making sure that those far from their home campus have all the resources that they need. Finally, their programs provide an ideal combination of academic rigor, a range of extracurricular cultural activities, and support at the local level that create a learning environment that is ideal for all those participating in an AIFS program. I can’t praise them enough!

What made my experience so great was being able to immerse myself in the city and culture. AIFS was great at providing lots of tours and trips throughout the semester, ensuring you never get bored. The life and culture class made the experience more interesting by providing context for the way things are and educating us on the history of the Spain and Barcelona.

I felt that I had a fun and life changing experience while in Barcelona. The AIFS staff made me feel welcome and safe, I felt comfortable going to them if I had a personal problem or just needed advice. They were friendly and I also made many friends with the students in the program. Definitely worth my time and money, I am going to convince my siblings to do it!

From the beginning all the way to the end, AIFS was amazing. Everything was quick, easy, and hassle free. I was on the fence between AIFS and another program provider and I made the correct choice with AIFS.

I traveled to Sydney, Australia with AIFS abroad for an internship after graduating college. It was one of the best experiences of my life, both professionally and personally. The program's support during the application process was invaluable. They went above and beyond to ensure that the internship I was offered matched my interests and preferences. I had the privilege of interning with two NGOs and both of them were an amazing match. The program guides you through the interview process and helps you enhance your resume, which is a great added benefit.

When I arrived in Sydney I was also instantly supported there as well by the local advisor, Andrea. She was an amazing resource who assisted us with everything from navigating public transport to finding the nearest grocery store. She made sure we were prepared and checked up on us throughout our time here, which was really nice. Additionally, she ensured that our internships were going well and even vouched for us if necessary. My roommates and I felt so lucky to have had her support throughout our internships.

We also had multiple excursions included in our tuition that ended up being some of my best memories here - like visiting the Blue Mountains and an Opera House tour.
I am extremely grateful for this experience, and I highly recommend AIFS Abroad to anyone who is seeking an international internship.

I loved the Shakespeare Globe program through AIFS. I loved all the different people I got meet through the program and the workshops at the Globe were very educational and extremely fun! AIFS made the whole process much easier to tackle than on my own. My only wish is that I could have had access to more information about the program a bit sooner.

The amazing logistics and excursions turned this into an unforgettable experience. I will cherish these memories forever

I am so grateful I had the opportunity to study abroad with AIFS Abroad in San José, Costa Rica. I spent a semester attending a local university while living with a host family, as well as exploring the city and country whenever I had the chance. I took courses in Spanish grammar, Spanish dialects, Ecotourism/Business, and a Mural Painting Course— all of which were much more interactive than a typical US university course. We had field trips or cultural events in every class. With my host family, I had an immersive experience through language, food, and cultural practices which rapidly improved my Spanish language skills and overall cultural awareness. AIFS took our group on three weekend excursions at the beginning of the semester, which provided awesome opportunities to see more touristy parts of the country (Manuel Antonio, La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano) and make new friends in the program. They also did smaller excursions into the city throughout the semester, such as museums or butterfly gardens, and had a nice goodbye-dinner at the end of the semester for all of us. AIFS, unlike the other study abroad programs partnered at Veritas University, has a small student center right near campus. This place was a lifeline for me during the semester; I loved having a place to make lunch, reconvene with friends, or talk to the incredible program staff Karla or Jesenia. I loved my experience abroad because of the support I received and would definitely recommend any program with AIFS!

I absolutely loved my experience with AIFS abroad! I went to Salamanca, Spain, where we were fully immersed in the Spanish culture through flamenco classes, cooking classes, museum tours, and neighborhood walks. I stayed with a host mom through this program, which allowed me to learn/ practice more Spanish and have 3 home-cooked meals a day. I took 2 classes at the University of Salamanca through this program and I felt very supported by my professors and AIFS staff throughout the whole program. We took excursions to Porto, Portugal, and to La Alberca, Spain, which were both such fun trips!!

I took the European Cinema course through AIFS Abroad and it was the experience of a lifetime. I had the opportunity to meet and hangout with my wonderful tour manager, Edu Padial, and learn from a great professor in Dr. Caleb Turner. As a film student, it was a thrill to travel to three major cities, which included London, Paris, and Rome and to learn about their rich film history. I am so happy I signed up for this program and I will never forget the memories I made throughout my trip.

Definitely the most amazing experience if my life! I did the Spring 2023 program in Granada, Spain and I am so happy I chose AIFS as my provider. They helped every step of the way, including helping us get our visas before we even arrived. Also, the onsite staff was incredibly kind and helpful. It was great knowing there were people there to watch out for us! If you are thinking of studying abroad, consider doing it with AIFS.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. The location and university are beautiful, and the support from AIFS is fantastic.

My experience in Galway was amazing throughout. I was placed with a good company for my internship, and was able to explore some other parts of the country through the company. Karen made our experience in Galway an unforgettable one. She organized day trips to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher, and did an amazing job of immersing us in the culture, taking us out to dinners throughout the program, and showing us Galway through her eyes. I always expect there to be a little bit of an adjustment period when moving to a new country for a few months, but I was lucky to feel so comfortable and at home in Galway right away. Karen took our group out to dinner in town the first night which helped us all get to know each other super quickly. From there on out, we all remained close, and had an amazing time exploring Ireland together. Truly an amazing experience and I feel so lucky to have lived in and experienced Ireland to it's fullest.

I had an amazing experience with my time in Budapest! The city itself is a gem and I'm so grateful for all the experiences I had. If you are even on the fence - do it! There's nothing like studying abroad in college. You meet so many amazing people, have endless adventures, and grow a lot. Cliché but this was probably the best decision I have made in my college career and wish I could go again already.

Budapest is affordable, fun, unique, and a youthful city. I have previous travel experience and I really enjoyed learning more about central/eastern Europe with my time there. Overall I felt very comfortable and wasn't worried about safety anymore than I would in another big city. The Hungarian language is very difficult to learn, as many will tell you, but most people spoke English so it wasn't a problem.

Corvinus is an excellent university with great professors. I had a few group projects (I'm a Marketing major) which I really liked because I got to meet people outside of my program and from around the world. All my classes were in English and the professors were proficient in their writing/speaking abilities.

AIFS provided a great experience with little excursions mixed in. I felt I had a real community and support system with AIFS. Communication was confusing at times before the program. This was mainly in terms of class scheduling and dealing with the visa but I did not have any major issues.

I think that every aspect of this program made my experience so great. For one, my host city was greater than I could have imagined it could be. It was so fun, charming, and inviting. I think that because it was on the smaller side it made exploring it more intimate and by the first 2 weeks you could really know your way around. Secondly, because my specific program was smaller, it was easier to connect with each of the fellow interns, and we all became very good friends in a short amount of time. I think it was the perfect amount of people. Lastly, the company that I worked for made me excited to come into work everyday and learn. I know that by talking to other interns, their jobs really made their experience as well.

I'm so happy I decided to come to Milan for the fashion internship. There were many highs and lows living here. For example, our advisors were sooo amazing and genuinely cared a lot for each and every one of us, however the lack of air conditioning in 95 degree weather made everyone in our apartment a little irritable. I learned a lot about myself as a person during my internship and experience living on my own. I would definitely do this again.

pros:

- Amanda helped me find my luggage after it was missing for a month, which I’m so grateful for
- I really liked my graphic arts internship overall, applied photoshop skills, even a little bit of web dev

Cons:
- someone who arrived to Milan early took my room without informing me ahead of time, which frustrated me
- felt like I didn’t belong sometimes because I’m introverted and didn’t vibe with a lot of my classmates who are extremely extroverted
- work can feel isolating because the employees don’t always want to talk to me
