A great time! Bailey and Liz were our ziplining guides- very fun and professional. And we got to use the pool with the deck that overlooks the gorge afterwards- surprise bonus. Will definitely do events with them again.

had a lot of fun on the Lower Gauley and the Gravity Zip Lines. i will be coming back with a different group of friends and co-workers to do it again.

Our guide,Kevin, was so knowledgeable and awesome! We had tons of fun white water rafting, and will definitely be coming back again in the future. Everything was organized and really well set up even amidst the covid19 precautions. The staff were super awesome and friendly. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for an outdoor adventure full of fun and excitement.

Our family went for the first time! We had a blast the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was nice I thought the food was above average. Our cabin was sunny side and it was very nice. I would recommend this for a family trip but I wouldn’t go after summer the water will be cold.

We got married in the morning before our raft trip and what a great start to our honeymoon! We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to come back again! The rafting was wonderful. The pool is awesome. Campground and facilities were great. The views are incredible!

Rafting the upper Gauley, we were safely transported through all whitewater. The hot lunch on shore was plentiful as was the beer on the return bus ride. I have no complaints about the trip or our treatment.

This was my first white water rafting trip and so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, you guys are so organized and informative that it was a breeze to go through. Our guide Rob Ho was amazing and we are all looking forward to coming back next year. Thanks for an exceptional experience!!

Had a wonderful experience rafting the Lower Gauley River on the first day of the dam release. It was my first time on the Gauley but had rafted the Lower New River twice. Our guide, Erin, was very experienced and managed to guide a raft of 4 of 6 newbies to rafting down the river with no upsets. Yay! Also, we stayed in a Kaymoor One cabin that was clean and nicely accommodated. We enjoyed our stay despite the pandemic situation.

I wish we would have stayed more than 2 days. I think you need a minimum of 4. I did not realize there were so many activities besides rafting. The resort is cute especially the pool area. The view is breathtaking. Everyone was great and helpful especially Sully our rafting guide. My only complaint is the cabins. They were not super clean and I was grossed out to sit on the couches. They look so old and used. Invest in some easy to wipe couches and have housekeepers clean more thoroughly. I would come back but not stay in the cabins.

First Class operation! We didn't know what to expect and loved every second of our time! this was our first rafting experience and we are already planning our return trip with friends next season!

We truly enjoyed our White River Rafting on the Lower New River. Scott was our guide and did a fantastic job! Great day of thrills to be on the river! We will be back to try the Lower Gauly hopefully next year! Thank you!

Had a great time, it was my first time and I really enjoyed it, I was ready to go again when we got done, I am a old surfer and love going through the rapids. I need to come back and Do it again! I saw after that they have a double day to raft. I am ready to work for rafting!

We recently did a Lower River White Water rafting trip with Adventures On the Gorge. We had an awesome time! We had never been WW rafting before. Our guides (Mogul Mike and KP) were great. They made this such a fun trip. It was worth every penny and we will do it again. I highly recommend our trip leader (Mogul Mike) he has 30 plus years on the New River. He knows all of the good spots to hit and will make your trip VERY exhilarating. He will also provide a very interesting History Lesson of the area. Highly Recommended!
We also did the Canopy Zip Line tour. It was longer than any other Zip Line adventure that we had experienced before. So, you get your money's worth. The Staff was fun, helpful and very energetic. We had a lot of fun and we recommend this activity.
Smokey's restaurant located right on the Gorge in the resort area has very good food, a bar, (and even a young black bear...if he decides to visit) onsite. The food and staff were really good. Probably the best restaurant in the Fayettville area.
We didn't stay at the resort but we drove around and scoped out some really nice cabins and camping spots. Our next visit we will stay there.

Okay, we had Cory and she was AWESOME! I think we did the lower, but the trip was perfect in length and we all had a blast! I'll be honest, I didn't get a good first impression because we were pretty late getting there and getting started so it seemed disorganized. However, it was opening weekend, so I totally get it. Then we get on the first "half" of the river and it was a little uneventful to be honest, even for my first time rafting. I feel this is almost on purpose. We stop for lunch and I was pretty disappointed with how weak things seemed so far. Then I turn the corner and get smacked with this delicious gourmet buffet that changed my life! I was even allowed to get seconds! Say whaaaaat? Then, the second "half" (I keep putting half in quotes because I felt the second part was longer than the first) was EPIC! We hit a bunch of class 4 and 5 rapids and our guide stayed calm and in control the entire time. All my group could talk about was how we cannot wait to come back next opening weekend so that we can do the Upper, which is I think the hardest available? As soon as we can put in our reservation we are in there like swimwear! I'm not sure if this is going to be used on a website or not, but I am a 32-year-old high school math teacher, coach, husband, father, etc. and this was a blast for people of all ages. Honestly, I would not want my wife to do class 4 or 5 rapids. She is not a great swimmer or stays calm under pressure so it would not be good if she fell out of the raft. However, there are plenty of strong, courageous, athletic women out there that would crush this! The price is just right. Definitely not too low, but it is not quite too high either. Especially considering all of the overhead that goes with it: rafts, paddles, guides, buses, camera dudes, gourmet flipping lunch, and of course the adult beverages on the way back to the camp. I don't drink, but that is a genius touch to keep people coming back. My friends were pretty much goners by the time we got back.
