Our New River trip exceeded our expectations. Our guide Thomas was the best! He really made the trip as fun as it was. Admittedly I was nervous at first, and was hoping the guide would have some mercy (ha!). Thomas never made me feel bad for being a little nervous, and was extremely encouraging. He was also just a fun guy to hang out with for the day. The Adventures on the Gorge setup is pretty impressive too. Smooth check-in procedures, coffee shop, nice gift shop, a restaurant, and a huge patio. Really liked the cold adult beverages at the end! Well worth the time & money. We definitely plan to go again.

First time white water rafting and doing the ski lines. Had a blast. Highly recommend. Covid friendly place other than bars closed at 10.

Fun trip, great guides, amazing food, pretty cool base camp

Fantastic Family Adventures and fun, helpful guides. My 12 and 14 year old paddled the duckies on their own down the river and my 8 year old rode down the river withe me. The guides had fun games to play as well as guide us down easy or more rapid paths. Perfect adventure for the whole family.

Overall great experience. Food was excellent, our guide was also great.

Lana and Liz were excellent! It was raining and my granddaughter was scared. I didn't think she would finish the course. But Liz and Lana talked her through it. Excellent guides!

The staff, guides, videographers, drivers, they were all amazing!! I was a little nervous before we got in the water, but once we got in the river and hearing how prepared the guides were all nerves went away. We also had great boat mates, a group of fathers and sons from PA. Seeing what a great bonding experience it was for them was an added bonus! We stayed at the campsite, which is A+++

This was my first time & it was so much fun! Our guide had the most amazing personality and tons of helpful and insightful things to share. We went as a family for my bro-in-law's b-day. I felt safe and had a blast! Can't wait to do it again!

Quite displeased with the beginner kayaking adventure. That whole offering needs to be looked at again and re-done. Complete waste of time and money. I am happy discuss more over a phone call.

This was my husband and my first experience with white water rafting. The guides were excellent about explaining all aspects. It was challenging, adrenaline rushing and lots of fun!!

A group of friends stayed in a deluxe cabin. The accomadations were amazing. Very Clean and had everything you need. We had a white water rafting trip on the New River which are guide was informative and fun. We then went tree-line ziplining and the 2 guides we had were aweseome. The staff are friendly, imformative and alot of fun. We loved it and are planning on coming back next year again. I highly recommed this to anyone. Plenty to do and a great facility.

This was not mine or my son’s first time on the Gauley, but this year we brought along 4 friends to do the Gauley River Overnighter trip. As usual, it was fantastic and all 4 new guys went home to tell of their wonderful adventures as well as to express a willingness to return with even more people. A special shout-out to our guide Ara Marine! She was honest about her knowledge of the river and rapids and we trusted her completely ; in turn she respected our abilities and the knowledge that those of us who had run the river had, and we had a perfect trip. Thanks Ara! Give Ray-Ray a high-five for us next time you see him. Mike & Travis Kucic

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the girl in the gift shop was rude about the face masks. Everything else was great. I enjoyed my experience very much.
