I had not filed taxes in six years and now I feel like a free man.
I had gone 6 years without filing my State or Federal Income tax returns. I met with Alex Petrosyan (Senior Account Manager in the Denver ATS office) and he walked me through the process of tax preparation. He promptly (within 1 day) answered my email questions concerning IRS letters which I received.
Brigitti Cannon is the Tax Preparer who has prepared my tax filings. We have exchanged email and she has personally initiated some phone calls to follow up with the Refund process for both the IRS and the State of Colorado. She has given me great comfort with her explanations of the process.
I have gone from the state of having bad dreams about my overdue tax filings and entered the state of actually awaiting some large refunds for some of the years which were filed.
I could not be more happy with the service that I have received. I have shared my experiences with some of my close friends.

We are disappointed that you were unhappy with our service. You don't give much detail so it's hard to reply. We wish you the best. The above is our reply for how we feel about your personal situation, but I have to add this to the end of reviews these days. It has come to our attention that people are taking financial rewards to give us a low star review. If that is not you, I apologize in advance for this. You can imagine the damage to our otherwise stellar reputation. These reviews are from people who have never used our services. Many of them we have never heard of. Their reviews are bold faced lies. Again, this isn’t personally directed to you.
I am offering a $5,000 reward to the first person who will provide evidence that leads to one of two things.
1) IRS revocation of the person or company’s license to practice before the IRS
2) or Monetary damages paid to us for libel and damage to reputation
AS A BONUS, if we receive $50,000 or more in monetary damages (I have no doubt it will be much more than that), I will increase the reward by $5,000 for a total of $10,000. I’m sure someone will find this is ample consideration for 1 email.
I will offer this person immunity from the libel and damage to reputation that they have done. However, during the court proceedings I will obtain a list of everyone who has been paid, and I will file damage claims individually. You may have given a fake name to us, but their records will have real names. It's just a matter of time.
So, the people who are creating these fake reviews have a choice. You know that someone will sing for a probable $10,000 payment, minimum $5,000 reward. If you remain silent you will be listed in a separate lawsuit and pursued for your individual damages and libel case. If you are not the first one to send me an email, but send it before the suit is filed, then, while I will not offer the reward, I will offer immunity if your testimony is with precision and useful in the case. The reward only goes to the first person with the requisite information for proving the case, but immunity goes to all that have emailed facts that qualify.

Hi Bud Herzog. Thank you for contacting us. Yes, we DO charge $250 for TAX Appointments. There is NO CHARGE for folks who have IRS issues that need an initial consultation. That is our forte and is what we have such a good reputation for. As far as for single year tax clients, we charge $250 for the consultation. That fee is then applied to any tax return preparation you may engage us to prepare. In that sense, it is free as it gets applied to our tax services. The reason we do this is because so many people will schedule out our time when they really don't want to engage us, they just want free tax advice. In many cases, they get extremely upset when they just want free advice and find out that there is a fee. To be honest, we used to give free tax appointments, and we were completely booked up with free consultations for people just wanting free tax advice, and we had no room for clients who wanted our services. Because of that we had to start charging for our consultations. If someone just wants advice, then we are paid for our time. If they want tax preparation, we apply that toward the service. As far as it being "NOT DISCLOSED", you called and we told you. You make it appear like you came to our office only to be charged. You called and we let you know that there is a fee for the time, and you chose not to book and not to come in. Isn’t that the way things should work? We don’t waste your time, and you don’t waste ours? Again, for serious inquiries about tax preparation, we charge $250 for the time, and then apply it to your tax prep fee. It’s unfortunate that you are unhappy that we told you there would be a cost for our time. However, we certainly didn't make you drive all this way only to tell you there is a fee. We told you this during your initial phone call. We certainly don’t want to waste your time.
