I was very impressed with how quick the whole process took from beginning to end and no more receiving the book of paperwork. The girls as always were friendly and very helpful in the information they gave. I will definitely be doing more business with advance America

I've been pleasantly surprised by the service I've received at Advance
America's local offices. Great service, friendly staff. They get a 5 star rating from me. Their website, on the other hand, is a nightmare if you use it to apply for a loan. It's easy enough to payoff your loan on their site but I made the mistake of taking out a loan on it. Everything on their website gives the impression that using it for a loan would be fast, and easy. That the money would be deposited quickly. Similar to the service you would receive at one of their stores where you would either receive cash immediately or have money deposited to your bank acct before you even left the store. That was far from the case with the website.
I was trying to take out a loan to take a sick pet into the vet when they first opened in the morning, so I started the application in the early AM. Part of the way through the application, they asked for proof of income, even though they already have my SSDI information on file. As I would have had to wait until 9 AM for the Social Security website to allow me to download a current awards letter, I decided it would be quicker to just go to my local Advance America office to open. However, there was no way to cancel the application I had started, at least that I could see. Every time I would log out and then log back in it would go back to that point of the application process. I doubt that the local office would have been able to give me a loan when it already looked like I was trying to get a loan online. So, I waited until I was able to get my letter from Social Security and then upload it to the site and finish the application. Then, when I had finished, the site told me that it would have to be approved and it could take until 5 pm. I was fortunate that it didn't take that long, and I was able to get my very ill cat into the vet, but according to the site, it could have taken much longer. The worst part of the site is that you have no option to cancel your application. Whether that is on purpose of just poor design, I don't know, but I won't use the site to take out a loan in the future.
