After 36 years, through Adopted.com, we were able to find our son's child. We were not allowed to view any information about the adoption from our state and this was the only way we had a chance for a reunion. So far, our son has talked with his child and we all hope to be able to meet, in person, at the start of the New Year. Thank you!

Katharine and her team truly care about each connection. They are a trust worthy team that put a lot of thought and effort into making this the best possible experience and I feel it’s worth every penny.

Total scam, claim to be free, but only free part is the registration and the search, if you want to view the results , it’s going to cost you £18 pounds a month and if it’s wrong? Do I get my money back?

Update- the company has blocked my account and will not give me access to the alleged two 10-10 matches. Their reply below is a lie. I never swore and never threatened. They lied about now two 10-10 matchs which they are denying access to. I again restate that this company is cruel and inhumane in the way that they behave on telling people, fabricated events and stories. On top of that they want you to pay the $25 fee every month to get access to this information. I’ve been around this bin before I’m not doing it again. If they’re being truthful, give me access to the information. This is starting to seem like fraud.

If I could give them a negative number I would. horrible hurtful, and malicious marketing tactics after being connected with this site for over 10 years closest match I’ve gotten was a seven out of 10 and it was one person who never responded today I get an email telling me there’s a new 10 out of 10 match and to go login. So I do, needless to say very excited. They wanted 2499 for the membership for a month. I said OK that’s worth it if there’s a 10 out of 10 match I pay the fee and I go into my account. There’s no email, there’s no match, my DNA information is even missing now. I don’t know what’s happened with this company, but what they did was cruel and inhumane. Their side is set up to when you email customer service. Your email never goes through. This is a scam and should be investigated by every attorney general in every state in this country.

After 42 years I decided to search for my birth mother and I came across this site. After making a profile and putting in all of the information I had it matched me with four possible 10/10 matches and one of them was an exact match. After sending a message to this person she saw it three days later and responded, a week later we met and yes it was indeed my biological mother. It turned out that she made her profile eight years earlier and didn’t give up hope that I would come to this site and find her. Had it not been for adopted.com I’m not sure if I ever would have found her. Now we talk/text everyday and we both finally feel complete after 42 years. I’ve read a lot of posts of people on this site starting to give up hope after sending messages and not getting replies and all I can say is be patient because when the person finally responds it’s life changing.

After finding the person i was looking for very quickly on this site, after sending messages to connect they didnt reply, reaching out to support was easy Nikki from support is truely amazing worked so hard to connect with them also, showed true compassion and empathy, however was sadly not meant to be, at least i know a name now, thank you Nikki for all the time and effort you put in.

I have been working with the fabulous staff at Adopted.com for several years looking for my biological daughter who was adopted when I was 18. They have been astonishingly helpful, supportive, and efficient in providing assistance with my search. Together, they have helped me try many ways to find my daughter in a sensitive and confidential way. I recently tried uploading DNA data from an older profiling service, but the file size was too unwieldy to use. Adopted.com staff provided valuable answers to helping select a service that would work with this website. They did not tell me which service to use, but combined with the information on DNA service partners on the website I was able to select 23andMe whose data outputs are fully compatible with Adopted.com's database. As it turns out, the results I just received from 23andMe included the name of my daughter (from their database), and I have sent her a message. I also was able to send this information to her birth mother, whom I have remained in contact with just in case such a chance could be possible. This is an exciting and expectant time in a search I did not know whether it would ever succeed. I have Adopted.com staff to thank for their generous assistance that has led to this discovery and fulfillment of one part of a long quest. Bravo to the wonderful folks at Adopted.com!

I really appreciate the Customer service here. They went above and beyond to try to help me understand and navigate through their platform and although I never found the relative I was looking for I still see the need for a place like this.!!

Paid £14.99 monthly subscription absolute waste of money, please don’t bother with this site.

I was able to find my brother's biological mother on Adopted. Though she did not communicate with me, Nikki tried. Nikki has been a Godsend in trying to communicate with her, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. At least I have her name.

It was wonderful to find my adopted son. It’s been quite a few years since we got to meet and we have a wonderful relationship. Thanks for all your help.

My child was adopted when he was young I have been searching everywhere for Him paying out loads on dna kits and getting nowhere then I can across this adopted.com then uploaded dna with no matches made small profile and it came up with 1 10-10 match 2 9-10 matches and there my child was looking for me me.amazing even if your dna has no matches check your little profile matches coz that's were mine was I cannot thank this website enough they have been amazing with support I would highly recommend this site if your looking for a loved one

I gave up my baby boy 2/1970, knowing probably I would never know how it all came out. But as a mom, I did decide that, although I could never find him, that perhaps if I was available, if he wanted to, he could find me. I created a profile at adopted.com in 2012 and waited... over the years several people thought we might be a fit, but all were no go. But on Oct 30, 2024, at 9:43am, a notification came from adopted.com that someone matched exactly! and after about 24 hours of back and forth, it became plain that my baby boy had found his mom, ME. I was able to travel to his city in Feb 2025 and celebrate his 55th birthday with him, his wife & son, my newly-found DIL & grandson. Amazingly, my son looks just like me! I never thought I would know about him, and I am grateful for adopted.com and its mechanism that made our reunion possible. My son and I remain in touch and enjoy our growing relationship.

Poor search system and matching algorithm, leading to absolute terrible matches. Not worth the time or money.

Finally paid the subscription because I was told I had 4 ten out of ten matches. 10/10 means 100 percent matches in my mind, yet when I paid, there were NO matches that were even close, not even the exact birth date I put in. Total waste of money and false advertising.

Just having a forum available makes this a five star review. I didn't pay anything as it was free to use. It took many, many years for me to find my birth mother and many years for her friend to post at the right time. The date she had was wrong, due to fault of her or my mom and it was on the behalf of my mother that she reached out to me. Truly providence. The relationship was confirmed by dna tests. I am grateful for the ability to use this site for free and to have finally met my biological mother at the age of 54! For the first time ever! A true answer to prayer. Thank you so very much.

Paid 19.99 for over a year no 10/10 results now that I can't afford it years later start sending me emails to check my matches then shows a 10/10 match. When I click on it wants me to pay 19.99 a month just to look at it.

After 10 years of searching I found my son.

I have been searching for my birth daughter for over 10 years with no luck. A couple days ago I received a message about a possible match. I have to say I was skeptical, but responded anyway. The more we chatted, the more it seemed she might be the one I've been looking for. So glad she reached out. She finally sent me a picture. She & my younger daughter could be twins! No denying my daughter found me.
