Adele is a brilliant auditor, extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Not stuffy or overbearing, just a decent human being who wants to ensure that companies are compliant. If you are looking for an auditor who genuinely takes an interest in your client’s business, their processes and wants them to be the best in their industry, then I cannot recommend Adele highly enough.

I had a fantastic experience with the training delivered by Adele Gladman and Sherri on “The Manosphere and Toxic Masculinity.”

The session was incredibly informative, engaging and thought-provoking, and really helped to develop my understanding of the influence that online spaces, social media algorithms and influencers can have on young people’s beliefs, attitudes and behaviours.

What I particularly valued was how practical the session was. It encouraged open discussion and reflection rather than simply delivering information, and provided useful prompt questions, resources and a risk checklist that can be directly applied to safeguarding and clinical practice. The trauma-informed approach to having these conversations with young people was particularly valuable, focusing on curiosity and understanding rather than confrontation or judgement.

The session has increased my confidence in recognising potential signs of harmful online influence and understanding the wider safeguarding implications, including online harm, harmful sexual behaviour, coercive control and peer-on-peer abuse.

Adele and Sherri were both incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, and created a really safe space for discussion. I came away with a greater awareness of the issues, practical tools to support my practice and lots to reflect on.

I would highly recommend their training to anyone working with children, young people and families. It is an increasingly important area of safeguarding, and one that professionals need to feel confident having conversations about.

I cannot recommend Adele Gladman highly enough for safeguarding training. Safeguarding is an incredibly complex, sensitive, and agile subject area, but Adele always delivers with absolute clarity, authority, and empathy.

Rather than just treating it as a compliance box-checking exercise, Adele brought the content to life with realistic scenarios, practical insights that relate to our sector, and actionable advice. We have been APSCo members for a couple of years, and with the changes in the recruitment market we decided to take the next step and work towards Compliance+ accreditation.

As a relatively new business, now in our fourth year, this was the first time we had personally taken an agency through the Compliance+ audit process. Whilst we have all worked for audited agencies in the past, the responsibility of leading the process ourselves was understandably daunting. With over 400 audit points assessed and a very high pass mark required, the outcome was business-critical for us.

From the outset, Adele was excellent. Before the audit, she took the time to explain exactly what to expect, the standards required, and what she would be looking for. That guidance gave us the confidence to go away, make the necessary improvements, and prepare properly.

I’m delighted to say we have now successfully passed our first Compliance+ audit.

Throughout the entire process, Adele was approachable, fair and transparent. She clearly has exceptionally high standards and isn’t prepared to let them slip, but she is equally supportive and constructive. Rather than feeling like someone trying to catch you out, she makes you feel like you’re working together towards achieving excellence.

Now that we’ve been through the process, I can honestly say Adele made what could have been a very stressful experience as smooth, professional and positive as possible.
