Not the experience/service I expected

I placed my order on 11/20/23. I still have not received it. Their message still reads "PROCESSING- ALLOW 4-6 BUSINESS DAYS FOR MOST ORDERS TO SHIP. PO ORDERS ALLOW UP TO 14 BUSINESS DAYS." When I called to get an update the email I received back (you have to communicate with them via email) stated the item comes from the manufacturer and there was a problem with them receiving my order so they placed my order again. I still haven't received my item. I'm very frustrated and discouraged!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We understand how frustrating it is when items don't arrive as expected and that certainly isn't the experience we want for our customers.

We were unaware that you had not received the order until you contacted us on Dec 6th. We immediately reached out to the manufacturer and had the order re-shipped to you. It shipped on Dec 7th and we just received the tracking information.

Please understand that only 2 business days had passed since the time you contacted us and the time you left this review. It takes longer than 2 days for an order to process and reach a customer's doorstep. Your package is in transit and scheduled to arrive Wednesday, Dec 13th.

As a small, therapist owned and family run business, we rely on the honest feedback and positive reviews of our customers in order to continue our mission of supplying the special needs population. Considering we were only made aware of your concerns 2 days ago and how responsive we have been once the issue was brought to our attention, we hope you will take a moment to reconsider if 1-star is truly reflective of our company and the service we have provided to you.

We know you have choices on where to purchase your adaptive equipment. We appreciate you choosing us!

Great Experience

The website has many product options, is clearly organized, and is user-friendly. I have purchased technology from Adaptive Tech Solutions for a long time and will continue to do so

Works well, but setup can be tedious

The alert device can be set up and functions as per the instructions. One drawback is that there are over 50 distinct selectable tones; one may need to cycle through a large number of these to reach the desired tone.

This allows customers to personalize their call chime and also provides the ability for a large number of users to each have their own tone, which is needed in group living situations.

Great tools for my child.

These buttons are bright and my daughter can see them but they are discreet enough to have tucked around the house. I found when recording I experiment with holding it away from me at differing distances when I speak and it helps find the right distance to record so that the sound is clear. I was excited to see batteries included, it made me feel that the price we paid was worth it. However, only one set of the batteries worked out of the four buttons we purchased. I understand that this can happen with prepackaged electronics but I do hope there is some way to fix that for people because it makes a difference. This issue with the batteries prevents me from giving a five star rating.
