A Class Moving 

CROOKS! Spoke with the representative Alan to schedule our move from Pennsylvania to Delaware for August 13, 2025. We received a quote that noted they had a 2 day window for scheduling the move therefore our move date could be either the 12th or 13th, but the 13th would be our primary move date. The contract we received noted that a $500 deposit was required, which we paid. Additionally the contract noted that "cancelations must be made at least 5 business days in advance. Otherwise charges apply." We were informed by our builder that due to a problem with the HVAC system in our newly constructed home that we would need to delay our move in date. We immediately contacted Alan and his "manager" Tim Igneri, by phone and email on August 5th to which within the 5 business day notification period, to inform them of our situation and to cancel our move. We were told because our call came in at 6 pm on the 5th they would not refund our deposit. Our cancelation notification period met the requirements. We are currently disputing this charge and seeking legal counsel to have this matter resolved. This bogus company A Class Moving/South East Van Lines are CROOKS. They have unsavory business dealings...buyers be ware...

In summary, the individuals we hired to assist with our move from CT to Texas have proven to be highly unprofessional and unethical in their conduct. Initially, we were impressed by the quote provided by their sales representative, Miss Jennifer, and proceeded with their services. However, on the final day of pickup, we encountered numerous issues.
The team, led by Joseph and the supposed owner of the company, arrived with a crew of four and immediately escalated the final payment to more than double the agreed amount. They demanded cash before commencing the move, knowing that we were pressed for time as we needed to vacate the following day. Feeling coerced, we reluctantly agreed to their terms.
Throughout the process, the team exhibited disrespectful and intimidating behavior. They not only helped themselves to our property, including our kitchen, without permission but also engaged in abusive conduct and threatened us. Additionally, they manipulated us into signing bogus documents and prevented us from leaving until their demands were met.
Their actions were not only unprofessional but also potentially criminal. They attempted to conceal their identities, using different names for payment and refusing to provide clear information when questioned. Furthermore, their behavior was particularly inappropriate around female members of our household.
Overall, our experience with this moving company has been deeply disappointing and distressing. We feel compelled to warn others about their unethical practices and urge caution when considering their services.
We are deeply concerned about the theft, vandalism, and damage of items valued at thousands of dollars. Despite our efforts to seek clarification and resolution, the compensation offered amounted to a mere $65. Subsequent attempts to communicate were met with silence, and our phone numbers were blocked.
It is evident that the company's conduct is highly questionable, as they consistently deflect responsibility by transferring us from one individual to another, all seemingly interconnected. This practice appears deliberate and serves to exacerbate the situation.
Moreover, their representatives have displayed alarming behavior, characterized by abuse, harassment, bullying, and a lack of professionalism.
We have escalated the matter, along with concerns regarding their company's conduct, to several responsible organizations and law enforcement agencies. We are currently awaiting further action to be taken.
Our primary objective is to raise awareness among potential customers about the fraudulent activities of A Class Moving Company with the ultimate aim of shutting down their fraudulent operations.
We are actively pursuing all available avenues to achieve these objectives, including legal recourse and engagement with relevant authorities.

Ghosted by Jennifer. When red flags started to show, I tried to reach out to Jennifer who negotiated the contract with me by phone and text. I kept getting answering voicemail box that I left messages on but no return calls. No response to any of my texts and her so called personal line became mysteriously dead. So, here's my experience. I have already moved from NH to FL. Housing was hard to come by but when I finally got an apartment, I called A-Class Moving located in Linden,NJ . Jennifer was given a detailed itemized list and was told about steps which we would be charged for and told her that we needed mattress covers so she gave us a quote that we agreed to. But when it came to the moving guys themselves more stuff was loaded on the truck from NH that I didn't authorize so they charged me for more cubit space. Joe, the foreman had a different itemized list from what I gave Jennifer that had some stuff missing. I tried reaching out to her but no response and no return calls nor responses to my texts. I had a few exchanges with Joe over the phone, email and texts concerning about the inconsistency regarding the list. The conversation also involved the unauthorized addition of items that they decided to put on the truck at the behest of my mother in law who they (the drivers) had no business of listening to and was given a higher quote. I was even overpriced on a cardboard box..ie.. I was charged $40. He referred to it as a " china box". I have no china but what was placed in it were the legs of the two adjustable bed frames. I'll cut to the chase. When the moving guys got here they could have parked the truck closer to the building instead of across the parking lot. We have already paid for the labor cost of them climbing the stairs but the driver wanted me to pay an extra $275 for walking across the lot. Otherwise, all my stuff would be left at the bottom of the stairs. I tried to tell him that if I ended up taking my possessions upstairs myself, then he would have to pay me money. I have already over $1,600 for this move plus I gave him the remaining $700 in cash after their arrival. We argued for about an hour. The driver finally knocked off $75 and said he would settle for $200. I relented and told him to bring my stuff up and I will go to the ATM. My wife and I both tried to get a hold of Jennifer and the foreman, Joe to address the issue to no avail. I have been scammed out of extra money that I really couldn't afford to be without so I am writing this negative review. Maybe I should contact the Federal Trade Commission.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY AND TOTAL SCAM!!! Movers showed up day of move and tried to charge an additional $1500 to pack glass top and mirrors Then when I didn't want to pay they doubled price of my move from $3100 to $6100!!! They decided to leave and cancel move. They then charged my card an additional $800 without my permission !!! So far they have stolen $1600 from me and I have called the police to file a report .

A class moving is the worse experience they give you one quote charge you more then extra quote after putting the stuff in truck package is free in quote but they charge 4 boxes 300$ if some want Strass in their own money they contact them my delivery is 10 days late over night shipping Jennifer block costumer number my 2 box 📦 is missing they don't care my kids car seat is missing they don't care costummer problem fully shittt company

The negative reviews are true. They tripled a binding quote once they had our stuff loaded. We are in the midst of a move and living a nightmare with them. Jennifer hangs up our calls…they are a complete utter SHAM.

This is the worst packers and mover in my experience. They missed my one suitcase and when I am reaching them no one is answering it. They never received my call to answer about my missing suitcase.
It is too irresponsible.

I was contacted by Jennifer, I needed to move from Boston MA to FL, she was very professional and very nice, explained to me what is going to happen, and took a list from me to give me a price, I was a little skeptical about the entire moving idea, as I read some bad reviews online, but Jennifer answered all my concerns, and told me what is included and what can cause extra charge so I was ready.
On the day of the move, Joseph was in charge of the team, they worked really hard and made me feel very comfortable.
I got my items delivered within 6 days, I was super happy.
Great company, great people, great overall experience

Made the mistake of entering my number when trying to get an overview of prices. Was instantly bombarded with phones and then text messages. When I asked, what I thought was an automated text message, to stop texting me, I was sent more texts which I responded stop again too. The lady then proceeded to text me rudely saying what comes around goes around, all because I didn’t want to be harassed. Not very professional and will be reported to the company as well.

This is the worse moving company eveeeer. They will give a low quote and charge by hour, bring helper that can barely lift their own weight to spend 5 hours loading the truck and then ask for more than double the amount they quote they gave you..they are thieves and even worse if there was a word to describe that

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BOOK THIS COMPANY. It is not worth the headache and stress. They will charge you an extra $1,200 for “packaging supplies” which is already supposed to be included in the contract. They held our furniture hostage for two days without providing any information and documentation. Be advised that they ONLY accept cash. They damaged and scratched our furniture and damaged our walls with how they handled the equipment. I would not recommend. They were incredibly unprofessional to deal with.

I used this company for a long distance move from east coast to Texas. My moving costed me 85% more than the estimated cost given by Jennifer. This company subcontracted it to a local moving company without informing me. Jennifer and I agreed on a price for storing my items for few extra months for $x, but the subcontractor wanted $3.5 X per month for storing my stuff. Very very unprofessional service and I would never trust this company again.

I had hired a bigger moving company for this move but because of their exorbitant cost, I had to look for a smaller and affordable moving company. This was how I came about A Class Moving. The movers are well-versed, skilled and highly experienced in rendering top notch moving services. This is why I give them two thumbs up for their professional services. I must say that I had a seamless experience in moving this time around. Thanks a ton guys for moving us!

This company was awesome. Every one of their employees was nice to us. They were quick but very careful not to cause any damage to anything. I felt like as customers we were a priority and they were respectful to our whole family. I didn’t have damage to any of our belongings and they didn’t lose anything in transit either. Whenever I move next, I am going to hire them again! 5 stars!
