I strongly warn others to stay away from this recruitment agency and the so-called “accredited” finance course they are partnered with — in my experience, this is a complete scam.

I was told that in order to secure a role, I needed to pay for an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) course they recommended. They made it sound like this was a necessary step and closely linked to real job opportunities. Trusting their advice, I paid for the course believing it would lead to employment.

However, after completing (or starting) the course, it became clear that there was no actual job waiting. The opportunities they hinted at simply did not exist. The “support” promised by the recruitment agency was minimal to none, and I was essentially left on my own after paying.

What’s even more concerning is that the course provider appears to be working in partnership with the recruitment agency, which makes this feel like a coordinated setup. Instead of helping candidates find jobs, they push people into paying for courses that offer little to no real career value.

I genuinely feel misled and taken advantage of. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, especially as someone trying to break into the finance industry.

Please be very cautious — if a recruitment agency tells you to pay for a course (especially urgently) as a condition for a job, take it as a major red flag. Do your own research and don’t fall into the same trap I did.

A guy claiming that he is from a recruitment agency contacted me for screening questions, he also claimed that I was a great fit but I need to have this course in my cv (even if it is marked as ongoing or attending) which was for like 300£.
Once i paid, He asked me to share payment receipt and kept sending me emails stating I am in top 30%.
I never heard back from him. I went through benefits of this course and guess what... there is none.

In the name of getting you a job, someone might make you get this expensive course and ask for receipt as a proof.

Don't fall for it. It is not accredited by any legit financial organisation which are famous and actually known by the masses. Put your efforts into some actual financial courses which will make your time and money worth.

If you are a grad who has been contacted by a “recruitment agency” for a grad position and have been encouraged to buy a course from this dodgy site in order to “strengthen your cv” and “stand out from other candidates”, I would advise against such a course of action, as in my view, I suspect that said recruitment agencies are engaged in fraudulent activities. I have not had direct dealings with accreditedfinancecourses.co.uk, but was directed to their website and encouraged to buy courses by the the recruitment agency.

I was contacted through Finance Recruitment LTD and told that if I completed a certification with this company, Accredited Finance Courses, I'd be guaranteed job interviews.

I trusted them and went through the process, paying a lot of money that I could barely afford, only to find out later that the job they promised doesn't exist.

I have since discovered that both websites are newly created.

It's obvious that they're connected and working together just to sell courses under false promises of job interviews.

Be careful and don't fall for this.

I've placed a review on both companies' trustpilot pages in the hope that it will prevent others from falling victim to this scheme.

Support was unhelpful and declined to offer a refund although I haven't undertaken any of the courses.
I chose this provider due to the lower cost. I should have gone with the more reputable alternatives.
