You are picked up, and dropped back off at the airport for a 10euro fee. The car we were given had 30k on odometer but felt like it had done 400k. Make sure you capture on video / pictures all damage on the car!!! Their office is a 10minute drive from the airport, and is not guaranteed to be manned, even in the daytime.

Why is there the need to be weary of getting ripped off??? It should NOT be like this, you're supposed to be on holiday. Go elsewhere.

ne louer pas dans cette société ! ils m’ont ajouté 35€ pour quelques heures en plus lors de la récupération du véhicule (le même jour), soit disant ils ne prennent pas américan express pour payer la caution et avec une carte à débit ils refusent sauf si on prend l’assurance à 10€/jour. ensuite le véhicule avait les pneus usés, pas de liquide lave-glace, un problème de géométrie… une vrai arnaque ! a fuir !

do not rent from this company! they added 35€ for a few extra hours when picking up the vehicle (the same day), supposedly they do not take American Express to pay the deposit and with a debit card they refuse unless you take out insurance at 10€/day. then the vehicle had worn tires, no windshield washer fluid, a geometry problem... a real scam! run away!

I booked this car whilst I was in the UK through a company called VIP cars. It was reasonable on price and the website seems authentic. When I arrive at the airport due to my flight being delayed the driver had already gone. I then called and A LOVELY GUY called Mohammed the driver came and picked us up. He was pleasant and I had no worries at this stage, However when I arrived to the shop I saw a person called Ismail at his desk watching footballing laughing and having a real good time, not even noticing that I was a customer. Mohammed proceeded to do his job, in explaining about the car and me asking to sign the paper work. I was asked to pay 800 euros deposit and the rest of the money for the rental, which I did. We checked the car together, I took pictures and then I signed again. During the time I had the car, sadly we lost the car key and informed the rental company immediately. On the phone Mohammed agreed that I could sort it out myself (get the door unlocked and buy a new original key), or the other alternative he explained was for him to come and open the car for 90 Euros and another 400 euros for a new key. It was very stressful as I had 3 kids with me, but luckily for me, my friends husband (they are Cypriots) is a well known and respected mechanic in Larnaca, arranged for one of the locksmiths in Nissan to come and open the car and reprogram a new original key. During this time I did not hear back from the rental company to check if I was ok and had got everything sorted, so I carried on with my holiday. On arriving on time to drop the car back a few days later, I again explained to the same guy who was watching football when I had initially arrived, Ismail, that we had a new key programmed and that all was well. He took the car key, agreed that the car was in 100% condition and then decided to tell me that he would now need to speak to his manager about whether I will still need to buy a new key . I was totally shocked and upset that this man was now trying to scam me out of my deposit whilst to my face!. I ran my friends husband and he said not to worry he would speak to them the following day, which was a Monday. The rental company person (Ismail) refused to speak to him and 2 days later Ismail then sent me a WhatsApp with a break down of what they were charging me. Totalling 328 euros. My friends husband told me to ask them for the key back which he would come and collect immediately. Ismail then wrote back that the car was now booked out to another customer and that the key can be picked up only on 12th September, as the customer was using the key!!!!!. This proved the key was fine and they were now trying to scammed me out of my deposit. I asked 7 times by message for an invoice to prove that they had purchased a new key, which they have still not sent!. He has given this company a bad name and I advise you not to use them at any cost. I would rather use a company that is well known and staff who know how to deal with customers.

I have had to stop all my cards and report my ID to the authorities in case they try and use any of my details. thankfully I have secured for this company to be blacklisted on all my details and it will flag up if anything is used and then they will be investigated at their shop.

Mohammed is a lovely guys and it is a shame he is working for this bad organsiation.

Ismail dropped us to the airport which I was horrified at, he drove unsafely and he did not once say a word, nor did he open the boot for us to get our suitcases or say thank you or bye. he just kept his head straight and drove off!!! This shows what sort of person he is!!!

Une très très mauvaise agence de location. Tout d’abord aucune indication pour récupérer la voiture à l'allée lorsqu’on arrive à l’aéroport. Aucune adresse rien du tout. Au retour aucune adresse également pour revenir déposer la voiture ( l’adresse pour déposer la voiture est différente de celle de l'allée c'est très logique). On appelle le numéro sur le papier( qui était coché par lui même en cas de besoin ) , le monsieur nous dit qu'il faut pas l'appeler lui??? Mais un autre numéro ? Rien qui va. Donc on appel l’autre numéro qui nous dit d’envoyer un msg sur WhatsApp pour avoir l’adresse, on a JAMAIS eu de réponse ( preuve en image ). Mais attendez c’est pas encore fini, pour couronner le tout, il nous assure un retour gratuit par leur agence, mais au final nous font payer un taxi 30€ le retour SANS nous préciser que le taxi prenait uniquement de l’espèce, sauf que je n’avais que ma carte sur moi, j’allais loupé mon avion et il n’y avait pas de distributeur à côté, donc la seule solution était de prendre les coordonnées de ma carte en PHOTO pour qu’ils puissent prélever eux même. Donc la y’a un inconnu au téléphone qui a toutes mes coordonnes bancaires à cause d’une grosse incompétence de notre cher Paul. Bref, PASSEZ VOTRE CHEMIN, ce sont des arnaqueurs comme les 3/4 des locations de voiture.

Never rent again.I want gave 0 stars The cars have scratches old car radio didn't exist the price its high not from internet when you give your visas to pay, and of course deposit never return back to you..
Choose other company.

We booked a car for a low price, so I think it was ok that it was old and had scratches. The light for tyre pressure was on all the time, but not mentioned by Laura unfortunately. Little stress at start therefore.
Price of rental was raised with 10€ for delivery at airport, which was not agreed upon. As wasn't the 20€ extra fee because of picking up car at airport because of early flight and not within office hours.
Laura promised to send contract digitally, but didn't do this.
First contact was to contact her, but number was not visible. Laura said she'd arrive in 10 minutes after luggage claim, but we waited half an hour.
Refund was done in right time though.

Christos from 777 rent never gave my 400€ deposit back. I’ve filed a complaint at the local police station against the company. They’re scammers, avoid at all cost

Had a good experience with this company. Everything went smoothly from start to till the end. Ideal for price and value! Fully recommend.

We would not recommend this company. On collecting our pre-booked car in Paphos we were presented with a vehicle that had been sent from Larnaca apparently due to no vehicles being available locally. We were very unhappy as this car was 10yrs old and was not in a good condition due to large dents and scratches on bodywork. It had obviously been in an accident as there were discrepancies in the paintwork on the vehicle. We took the car back to the office as there was a continuous flashing red light on the dashboard. We were told to ignore it. When returning the vehicle at the end of our holiday a different member of staff told us the light was due to the air bag having been replaced at some point. This is just not good enough. Please spend your well earned money elsewhere.

Car was cheap. It was ok and fully working. We paid 10 euros more per day to be covered in the northern area (plus the Turkish insurance we also had to buy) but we were told in advance so no surprises.

Good choice to rent a car, no missing dates no need to wait when arive to Airport. Easy to apply documents.

We rented a car for four days with full insurance (100€ would have been on us) for 156€, which was by far the cheapest offer at that time. The car war rather old and made some rattling sounds but worked fine and we were overall happy with our choice. The contract conditions gave us some headaches, as you return the car and only after it gets washed the company informs you about any damages, so you have to trust them 100% on this as you wont be around. We dropped your car with no one around and threw the keys in the mailbox. I wish they would change this policy, as it creates a huge insecurity for the customer. Also the fuel regulation shound be full/full instead of same/same, were you always end up leaving more fuel in the car as you got it with. Overall ok experience. We would go back as it is cheap and staff was really friendly.

We booked directly and got a very old Nissan 2016 Note with no equipment (Bluetooth, Pdc…) for 320€ for 10 days. No insurance included. The guy said he will be there in 5 minutes to hand over the car but we waited almost 1/2 hour. Scratched rims and the car made scary noises like it will stop working at any time.
Same bad timing by return. He came later as agreed and appeared very annoyed. Not friendly.

One star is still far too generous! This car rental company is by far the worst one I've ever encountered. First of all they threatened to cancel our booking because our flight was delayed and bearing in mind we finally landed at 3am would have been a real inconvenience for me and my children. Then the car we had originally secured wasnt the one we was given. Apparently they didn't even have the one we booked. The one we was given didn't fit all of our stuff in so my father in law had to do a half hour drive with a suitcase on his lap. The car seat for my 2 year old was very questionable as in there was no foam left in the seat the harnesses were all frayed it wouldn't connect to the car securely. When we picked the car up, it was about 3am local time and the car had 0 petrol in it. They had no idea where we were staying so lucky enough we managed to roll it there. Oh yeah, the window wiper was missing! To which they are arguing that all their cars are serviced before they are dropped off to us. They come to pick the car up the next day to get the wiper sorted but because they gave it to us with no petrol in, at 3am we couldn't put petrol in they tried charging us more money because they had to do it. We lost a day usage of the car because of it. When we arrived they then doubled the cost of the car. After we had put the deposit down, we had €200 left to pay on arrival. By the time we got there, their policy had changed and they charged us €400. With me, my wife and my 2 small children, what choice did I have to argue it at 3am at Paphos airport when he would have taken the car back and leave me stranded. When it came to dropping the car back, the drop off point was round the back of the airport and the booking said to drive the car there and they would pick us all up in a shuttle bus and drop us to departures. When we arrive at the time of hand over as per the booked, they were late meaning we was getting close to our flight. The man arrived to take us back to the airport without any kind of shuttle bus. Instead he said the procedure is to take the car we had and drop us back to the airport. But the car we had wasn't big enough for our party (plus luggage) I told him that's unsafe. And his reply was "then you drive to the airport, drop your family and cases off then drive back to the handover point and walk back to the airport* 1. Hell no! 2. That's not what we agreed in the contract we signed and 3. He was already running late and was making it tight to catch our flight!! The incompetence of this company is unbelievable. The lack of compassion they show young families arriving in their country in the middle of the night is mind blowing. Luckily I've driven in Cyprus a few times and slightly know the roads but for anyone who's doing it a first time please avoid these people. They had no office of any sort. No certificates on show. No documentation apart from a tick sheet to show any damage on the car when they hand it over to you. My father in law (was with us) and he works in a car body shop so when he looked around the car on arrival they had missed so much damage which they would have charged us €800 for afterwards. So to round up. The people that run this company are, I believe, crooks. After complaints were made they believe everything was fine and are refusing to talk to us. Please go with a respectable car leasing firm. Don't make the same mistake we did.
