Bought a pair of Quest pants at local 5.11 store. Wore them one time and they shrunk. Tried to get store to exchange/return them but they were not "trained" in exchanges/returns. WHAT! That is the worst customer service I think I have ever experienced. Now after 3 times trying to talk to someone at customer service - still no resolution. NEVER AGAIN!
Loaned 5.11 my money for 3 months
Bought and paid for a backpack early December but didn’t receive it. Figured Covid Blah...Blah...Blah! Not sure what has happened cause I can’t get a response from customer service. So then a few days ago mysteriously a email popped up refunding my money with no explanation. So I apparently patiently waited for almost 3 months for a refund. What a garbage company!

Ok so all I buy is 511. Went into Knoxville location wearing $700 of their product go there all time. SonI bought the Apex pant and shrink bad couldn’t wear . So they wouldn’t exchange or anything got another pair and held up to like I was lying guess I go back to greens. Hey to Know your real customers!!

I bought expensive 5.11 pants. UPS said they delivered them but did not. Could not reach 5.11 by phone. 5.11 does not offer email contact. UPS claim software kept freezing up so I could not file a claim with them. COMPLETE RIPOFF. Order 20012097760, Finally got 5.11 by phone. They said to wait to see if the package arrives or not. I suggest throwing your money out the window to avoid the disappointment of ordering from 5.11.
Awesome products, horrible service
I want to give them five stars because they have stellar products, but their shipping and service is awful! I keep getting emails every 4-5 days saying they haven't shipped, yet. I can appreciate getting backed up and was trying to place another order because of a sale they have. I don't want to order the same items I already did, but the order confirmation gives very little info and when you click to see the order, nothing comes up but a blank screen that says, it's being processed. I called several times and kept getting disconnected. The first guy didn't speak English and I had to spell Heather for him three times, then repeat the order number four times. He couldn't pull the order up, then I was disconnected. I called back and got a woman who was rude. I gave her my name, and we were disconnected again. I give up! If my order was just for me, I'd cancel it, but my husband loves their pants and he looks great in them. I'll keep waiting, but I won't be ordering again. Such a shame because they really have such an awesome line. I even like their stuff for me, but their service and shipping just suck.

Good product, but horrible service. Don't expect to get your products exchanged since they are all lazy and will only process it as return.
Customer service falsehood
I ordered some pants early as a Christmas present for my wife. On opening, they did not fit her. It was beyond the 45 day return policy, but I called, and they said they would make an exception and send me a return label. I never heard from them. Repeated calls to customer service were always hung up. By the way, online returns do not work.
Edge chinos, väldigt nöjd!
Köpte ett par Edge chinos. Färgen var lite annorlunda (mörkare) mot bilderna men de sitter väldigt bra (utgick från min jeansstorlek) och kvalitén känns hög. Jag var ute efter byxor som funkade på kontoret, men som hade fickor som inte får hål. Smidig förvaring för mobiltelefoner, nycklar, passerkort och allt annat man släpar på varje dag var också högt på önskelistan.
Leveransen var snabb och smidig från vad jag antar är den svenska butiken/lagret. Jag är väldigt nöjd och kommer absolut att köpa fler byxor därifrån. Ser fram emot att se om jeansen är mer slittåliga än mina vanliga Lee-jeans som slits på ett halvår men kostar minst lika mycket som byxorna på 5.11.

I ordered a bag through their rush sale, reached out to them after two weeks of it not shipping yet. only to have them tell me that they oversold the bag and that I wouldn't be getting my bag that I ordered. It took them almost 4 days to respond to my message and about a week to respond to my email. and their solution was to offer me 20% off of the new bag thats coming out that cost twice as much. They respond to communications three days after your write them back from the email they just sent you. So because of their lack of preparation for the sale that they were having i now have to deal with crap customer service. Also, my friend ordered her bag 5 minutes before i ordered mine and hers came two days later. This is the first time i ever ordered from them and it will absolutely be the last. I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy. Absolute crap!!!!
$700 worth of clothing that should have cost under $300.
I purchased about $700 worth of clothing after buying a pair of pants in the local sporting goods store.
In short the value for what you get is rather poor. 5.11 gear is at least 2x as expensive as it should be. I regularly buy entire wardrobes worth of clothes because I hate buying them. This is the 4th time I have done so and the first time I felt cheated.
The clothing arrived with far too many loose threads and many buttons on my shirts and pants have since been resewn.
While the pants I bought all fit as expected, I will have to wait more than the 3 months so far to see how they really age. Sadly though, I am not hopeful as most of them have started pilling in the crotch area.
The shirts are a big letdown. While the pants fit very well, the shirts aren't broad enough for me, even though they are XL Talls, about like everything I have bought since adulthood. The fabric appears nice, but I have to wonder the purpose of a tactical shirt that doesn't have enough room for me to easily put on a backpack.
Overall I bought 5.11 because I wanted utility, knew a few folks in law enforcement that spoke well of them, and was willing to pay a premium for something that would last. Instead I was met with Dockers/ JCP Foundry quality clothing items at 2x the cost with a few extra pockets.
I haven't bothered to return any of this stuff, but I most likely won't be buying any more.

It's the warehouse!
Ordered through a rep. He was very nice and accommodating. However where they drop the ball is the warehouse. What info I received is that they switched over to a new high tech distribution warehouse. They had software glitches causing non-fulfillment of orders. I heard they had 20 UPS semi's waiting for shipments in one day. Supposedly they fixed it and now Covid hit. I live in SOCAL and after 4 weeks still haven't received my order! Ridiculous! Many other online sellers have adjusted to Covid and shipping times are way much faster.

Great Selection But Poor Customer Service
5.11 has a great selection of products and the items sold are definitely high quality and worth the high price. That said, you can usually find the 5.11 items at other retailers for significantly cheaper. Also, sizing is inconsistent and if you run into any issues requiring customer service, you are in for a frustrating experience. Lastly, the order processing and ship time turnaround is beyond terrible. Expect very lengthy delays in receiving your order regardless of what the website says.
