Avoid. Bought a deadlock never arrived. Claiming back through PayPal

This company is a scam. It took what seemed like forever to receive product. Only after relentless calling and emailing I was able to reach someone via chat. I was told that the order was delayed due to manufacturing issues, so I told them I wanted to cancel. Oddly enough I received the product the following week. However, the part that received did not work on my jeep, so multiple attempts via phone/ email were made in order to receive the correct parts. No response was ever received. This company is a scam. The only thing I recommend about them is for people to stay far far away.

Same as the other reivewers. they take your money. never ship. I was told ships today doesnt mean ships today. customer service is a complete joke and plan to spend an hour or two dialing around, getting tranferred and hung up on before you get a human who wont help you anyway. My suggestion is to call around and buy from a place where live people are easily available to help

Scam site. Took my money, no tracking number and sat on hold for some idiot to answer 30 minutes in and say, "oh let me place you on hold to check it out." Then she hung up.

Ordered parts. Said 3-5 days to ship. 1 month later I call in to find out its forever back ordered and is at least another 90 days out. No option. Got a refund. Told the lady this entire process has sucked and she hung up on me after it took 30 min to get her on the phone.
They suck.

Returned a part and after 2 months I still have not been credited.

I have tried everything to get an order changed. Two days in a row I am number 47 on the customer service phone line. After 4+ hours of waiting no resolution. Use Amazon or Ebay so you can at least have them to fall back on. They just don't care; don't open on time, don't answer phones, don't want to help and do not care. Do not spend your time or waste your money here. Just filed a claim with PayPal

Ordered a part a month ago. Still not shipped. Company will not respond to my request to cancel an order that has not been shipped. Unable to contact anyone through their customer service number. Called the nearest store and was told the regional manager would contact me. No response. This company is run by two stoned teenagers. They are out to screw you. Do not do business with this company.

Had a very expensive battery delivered last wk- it was not secure in a very weak/thin box, not secured at all, with just paper on the bottom. (No fragile sticker) So of course it was damaged. I have not been able to contact anyone from the company!
Ive gotten one email response, asking for pics. No return shipping label, and unable to get anyone on the phone!
I filed claims with 4WD and also UPS. No luck yet! Still waiting! Horrible!

I should have read the reviews before my purchase. Needed soft top parts for my JKU before winter, Ordered 9-18-22. As of today, 11-17-22, nothing has shipped. Spent hours and hours with customer service and just get the run around. Never buy from 4wd

bought a 1600 smittybilt tent from them with the promotion of getting back a 200 dollar card to spent with them. Its been 6 moths of playing phone tag with them and they dont care. everytime i call corporate im wating around 2 hours on the phone just to talk to them. ive purchase several sets of tires from them from the pass and tool boxes but this is my last straw. For your information 4wd , smittybilt, and pro comp are the same company. I would avoid all of them.

Avoid this company. The customer service is horrible.
I ordered 2 soft top doors. I needed to return them. 2 weeks after returning them I had to call about my refund. I received a refund for 1 door. I have been trying for the past 2 weeks to get the rest of my refund. I bought doors, I returned 2 doors, but I received a refund for one door. Losing my patience

The worst customer service. Sent me an email to say out of stock but wouldn't cancel order or change it unless I called. Spent an hour on the phone and nobody picked up. Said there was 26 calls ahead of me. Tried calling the local store. No answer.

AVOID THIS PLACE. As with all the other reviews, I purchased a small item which never arrived and the website was never updated with a tracking order. I think this site is dodgy. Thankfully I paid with PayPal and got my money back instantly. The item now says "out of stock" so I don't think they ever had it. SCAM

Don’t buy anything that you want this company to stand behind. Purchased a three-year warranty that died at 18 months. Sent them 5 separate emails via their “contact us” page, then spent 3 1/2 hours on hold hoping to get a person on the line. No luck with phone call, and never received a response to ANY of my emails. Their service doesn’t just suck, it’s non existent.

Avoid 4WD.com if you have a choice
I have sent SEVERAL emails, and NEVER get a response. Called TWICE, put on hold for over 40 mins the first time and gave up. Waited for over 25 mins the second time and STILL could not get tracking or order number. When I placed my order I received a message while on the website that said "Thank you, your order number is "BLANK". It also said "you will receive an email shortly with tracking and updates". Never got the email, and funds were taken through Paypal. I explained to the Customer Service Rep that I did not have the order number. He asks for my name, email address, home address and date of the purchase. I provided them and then he asked for the Order Number. I again explained that I was not provided an order number. Then he asked for my name. My name had not changed. Gave him my name again and also offered the Paypal Transaction ID, the date, the order amount, the 4WD part numbers of the two items I paid for. He replied that he did not have access to the order with only that info. Then he asked for my phone number, and my FULL name. My name had not changed. After another 15 mins on the phone with him fumbling in their system he explained that he did not have access to the order without an order number. I finally gave up and started to explain that I was going to file a charge back with Paypal and he started talking over me. I told him this was bull$h1t and that I had spent well over an hour and a half on the phone and several emails to no avail and the whole time Im talking he is raising his voice trying to talk over me. Textbook example of HOW NOT TO deal with an already frustrated customer. Again, if you can find what you need elsewhere, even if it is a little more, spend the money, save the headache.

Terrible company. Wouldn’t help me on my order after they took my money. Kept saying parts was back ordered. Every time I called them transferred me to a phone for 3 hrs. Will never by from them again.

DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!!! Ordered the gen2 hoist to take the hard top off. In MAY. It's Sept. Asked for a refund in Aug. No refund. Tried 3 times to get my money back, for the entire month of Aug. Finally told them they took my money same day, they can return my money same day and if not I'll take legal action. That worked. This company never even had this item available to sell... They just claimed they did. What a scam company.

NOT WORTH IT. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I place an order. They promised delivery September 31st so I took off work to wait for it then they called me that day and said it would be here September 2nd. Waited to call me that day and said it won't be here until the 7th. Complete morons. Then they told me if I cancel the order it has to wait till the product gets back to their warehouse they're going to process it. This is nothing but aggravation. I would pay double to avoid these stooges

Would be a 0 if that was an option. Received my product missing tons of hardware. Sent them the pics from their own book with the parts and part numbers. Received a bunch of stuff that wasn’t right. Told them again and they just sent me all the wrong stuff again. Vehicle has been in the shop 2 weeks now and still can’t get ppl to send me the right hardware with the part numbers right in front of their face.
