They are crooks. We are owed £3000 for work not completed since last year. Going through county court but he is proving elusive. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. They are CROOKS

My review is much like the last one. I had my new roof fitted on the 29th November 2023, by Matt and Shane, they worked solid for 2 days, it was freezing conditions, I am so happy with the results. Great value for money.

In September we had our Glass Conservatory Roof replaced with an Insulated Lightweight Tiled Roof by 4counties Group & we are very happy with the results, initially we was a little sceptical about using this Company due to the bad reviews we read on Truspilot, but equally they had some very good reviews too on their website, so we decided to go ahead with them, we had 5 quotes in Total from other Roof Replacement Companies who all wanted double & more for the Job, Gary Saunders gave us a very good price & came over as a nice enough bloke, I did do my homework from their website reviews & requested a certain Team who was given a lot a appraisal from other Customers, they were decent Men who took pride in their work & completed a brilliant Job to our Roof & the Internal plastering too, I think this Company has quite a few Teams of Men & yes some of them may not take as much pride in their work? I would recommend them to anyone who is having a Roof Replacement done.

further to my previous post thought I would bring the situation up to date. after sending a numberbof breach of contract letters by different means including by hand I have had absolutely no response from them. Prior to recontacting CAB I decided to visit my bank to ask them for help if possible. at first they were adamant that because I paid by cheque but after about 90 mins on the phone whilst there with their fraud department giving them all the details they promised to let me know the result within about three weeks. I happened to visit my account on line to find that the amount I had paid in deposit had been repaid into my account, brilliant, I have yet to establish if they recovered it from Gary Saunders or if the bank had refunded it. This crook of a man should pay severely for his actions and I will still pass any details of my experience to trading standards if required.

AVOID I've contacted my MP who has taken my issues to Trading Standards. This company has not completed works, order placed July for over £11k and they've still not completed work satisfactorily. They have not started the last element of replacement of three external doors. They will not return a deposit of £1000 held since July to enable me to go to another contractor. On the 2nd phase of works, the workmen left a urine filled pop bottle in my garden. They worked off ladders not scaffolding to replace roof line fascias. The mess was incredible and left onsite for days so they worked with new and old materials mixed. I was told the job would take 3 days it took over a week. I was asked to pay in full before the job was completed, I refused. The final element a porch was rushed on the last day and has many snags. I withheld an amount of the final payment and refused to have this team return. My calls and emails are either ignored or when I did get a response I was given excuses, false promises. After the delay of months before works even started on phase one of three works packages, the conservatory roof they promised a form of compensation by plastering the conservatory walls but this has never happened. I've informed them about raising this situation to trading standards and now waiting for an update from my MP. I have a catalogue of many more issues with photos. I'm so disappointed as I had done my due diligence having checked with several neighbours who had same type of works BUT their works were done some years ago, different teams for fascias and so from reading reviews here it looks to be recent changes have resulted in these outcomes that I've experienced. The team who did the conservatory roof were good. The fascias team were not, they even damaged the new conservatory ridge tile. It's not been sorted and I don't expect to ever will be. I've numerous photos and will share these next with HSE. As I don't think it will be long before 4 Counties workmen suffer a serious accident or cause one to someone, a customer, based on how unsafely they work. Avoid at all costs. The name of Gary Saunders is the root cause of these outcomes through his lack of actions has resulted in such poor outcomes. Buyer be warned.

Avoid Avoid Avoid .........This was a Sham from the start . Builders not turning up, promise after promise , lies after lies . Gary Saunders will promise everything and deliver nothing . Please believe the 1 star reviews on here as no-one pays to give them !
We had an extension built which was a total disaster to put it in a nutshell the whole roof had to be rebuilt by another company after we had complained many times it had been bodged. Gary would not listen and never even came to inspect . The extension had not even been built to Spec and it was smaller than agreed .In the end we cut our losses at a cost to us but glad we did. This company will cause you nothing but stress. Do not do it . Please feel free to ask more I could go on and on .

Word of warning, formerly connected to 4 counties home improvements and 4 counties group, we used them paid 8.5k for a new conservatory roof. they didn’t do any survey despite us asking for guarantee that the footings and frame would be good as other competing companies had said they needed to underpin and/or put additional supports on existing frames. the footings sank the day after the install and the existing frames warped and cracked, they have done nothing to support us. The whole thing now has to come down and we need a new conservatory. The MD Garry Saunders Led us along for 11 months and when it came to sorting it out I was informed he sold the company (6 weeks prior despite texting me numerous times within this 6 week period). Then the so-called “new owner” physically threw us (me and the wife) out the office and basically said we don’t care just sue us! Anyone who wants to know about our personal experience DM me. We are taking legal action as the MD has now blocked us on our phones and we have been warned not to set foot in the Dinnington office again. The MD’s son Chris did the sales call and stated that the 10year warranty would support us if anything happened. That was not worth the paper it was written on! Total negligence and then didn’t support with after care! Google the former companies I mention to see other situations similar to ours. Avoid at all costs "4 Counties Home Improvements Centre" from Dinnington, Sheffield - Currently having to pursue the return of a £1000 deposit via the County Court and bailiffs because they failed to provide the service contracted for, spent months ignoring my request for repayment, Be very wary of false 5 star reviews, check the various poor reviews. Also reported to trading standards.
