Called them out on 25 May 2025, they charged me £370 labour for replacing a hose ( which they charged at £8 ) less than one hours work. Call out £55. Total £433. Great way to treat customers in need.

If I could give 0, I would.
Have given 3x prices.
Gone from an installation price to time and materials.
Turned up late on a Saturday, knowing there wouldn’t be time to complete the job.
Then claimed for work that wasn’t done.
Demanded money in the house
Then threatened bailiffs on the phone.
Interesting business model.

Avoid.

Called as had a leak under a floor board, and I didn’t have a saw to get to it. Thought a plumber would - no, crowbar and hammer it is.

£65 call out charge, £2 elbow valve, 20 mins work = £460 bill.

Company ignoring requests for an itemised bill.

They rush you through when you call so before you have any time to question or query anything it’s already booked and someone’s on the way.

Please please please read these awful reviews before using this scam company. I rang this company this evening before reading reviews as we had a blocked toilet and was told £45 call out charge. I then read the bad reviews and rang back to cancel, stupidly I was convinced off the guy that the reviews were a different company and that it would be somewhere between 60-120 to fix our problem. The con man turned up didn't even attempt to fix it and told us it would be £400 and they can send invoice to home insurance. He was politely told to leave and I contacted a plumber friend who I had not wanted to bother in the evening, 30 seconds using a mop as a plunger and the problem was fixed. Disgusting scam artists do not use.

Awful company do not use them. My own fault for not checking reviews first, but it seems I’ve had a very similar experience to others.
They had the cheapest call out rate vs other ones in the area, at £50, didn’t think that was bad. But the hourly rate I was charged was £220 plus VAT. What I thought was a very small job of replacing a valve on a radiator turned into a nightmare. The guy flooded my dining area whilst draining the system as he wasn’t watching it and water overflowed from the bucket. Ruined my rug, had to use all my towels in the house, I was even on my hands and knees trying to mop it all up. The guy was really aggressive and rude . He also showed up with a frozen hose and used 7-8 full kettles (my energy costs) to melt it. All which was included in the price I’m paying for by the hour. The materials were also so expensive. £80 for 2 valves and one TRV. When only one actually needed replacing but he insisted the other one did (I’m no expert and I they take advantage of women). Was charged £580 altogether , plus they’ve damaged some of my items. Tried calling back the next working day and was speaking to another rude guy on the phone who then hung up on me. I haven’t received a warranty via email which they said they would do. Overall absolutely shocking service. I should report them to trading standards.

Very similar experience to the one I just read, rang last night in a panic after coming home to a burst pipe. There ad comes up first on Google, didn’t feel right on the phone as they said someone will be with you in 3-4 hours without having any details of the issue so explained a little bit and said they can call back in the morning. In the meantime I had arranged for a local plumber to come out the next morning only to have someone from this company turn up demanding £60 call out. Tried to speak to him and his handler on the phone, neither wanted to listen just tell me that I can either pay or the debt collectors would be round in an hour. Absolute con quickly left after we said we were speaking to the police

I wish I could give 0 stars for this company. Please do not make the same mistake I did and DO NOT HIRE.

I was panicking about a light switch and have never dealt with this kind of thing before so quickly googled and called this company. I know this was a mistake on my side and I’ve definitely learnt my lesson now.

I was quoted £70 call out + labour. I was only told when he arrived that the holiday hourly rate was £195+ VAT, is 30th December a holiday? Not in the UK calendar it’s not. Please remember to ask for the labour rate, this was my naivety.

Anyway, an absolute cowboy came, looked at my light switch and said it was a 2 man job and would need to come back. He tried to fix it but ‘failed’ and couldn’t find the problem in the 2 hour period he was here that he could fix alone.
He made it ‘safe’ and told me to book in after the holidays.

Another electrician from a different (but reputable and genuine company) just came to my house tonight and fixed this switch in 20 minutes! So much for a 2 hour job with 2 men hey that couldn’t be solved!?

The second switch that this con artist looked at, he claimed the neutral wire was live, that there was a fault in the wiring, needed two men to look at it and that my whole apartment may need rewiring. Bear in mind that my apartment is two years old so highly unlikely.
He said he’d made it safe and he would come back to do it. The electrician who I hired for this evening (again different company but reputable), opened the switch and said it was done extremely dangerously and was not definitely not safe and that I should take a photo of it to report them. AND he fixed it in 6 minutes just by himself.

Whilst I am appalled at this behaviour and upset that I’m down £600 from these scammers and £200 from the new electrician to fix his mistakes, I’m glad this happened so now I know to be extra vigilant and what to look out for.

TIPS:
- women unfortunately you will be taken advantage of so please be aware of this
- always ask to see electrician credentials. They should carry what is called a gold card on them and it is your right to ask to see this before work is carried out
- always try multiple suppliers and don’t be fooled by friendly people that answer the phone. Ask lots of questions and go with your gut
- read trustpilot and google reviews before you arrange for them to come
- always ask for the hourly rate and do not get confused when they quote only the call out charge

These people clearly use tradesmen that are not qualified electricians but perhaps know some DIY.

I’ve never written a review this long and congrats if you made it to the end. I just do not want anyone to go through what I did. I cannot stress it enough, do not contact this company.

All of the other 1 star reviews here are similar experiences to my own.

Essentially these charlatans came out to fix a leak in a radiator and charged me £450 for a two minute job. I told them over the phone what the job was so they should have communicated to us what the price might be. We were told that we could claim the money back on the home insurance. This wasn't true and I felt they said this to get me to go along with the absurd price of the work. The man they sent couldn't speak English so I had to speak to his handler over the phone at all times.

Incidentally I had another plumber out some time later for a non-emergency job and they were shocked by this, I showed them the job that'd been done and they couldn't believe the price we were charged. They said "I don't know how they sleep at night."

Came and spent 20 minutes charged £360 to fix problem and left, 1 hour later all electrics went off again in the house, complete scam and dishonest man who never investigated the problem properly. Just wanted your money. Will report this to the authorities and hope they are dealt with.

Phoned and asked for call-out. £50 call-out charge. No mention of the first “emergency hour charge” of £350. A total of £400 for a half hour job!!! Absolutely disgusting - do not touch with a barge pole!! No way of leaving a review on their website. No surprise there. Would give no stars if it was possible

Thus company responded to a call accessed from their link on Google. They told me about £50 call out but no figures for labour. The plumber arrived, plunged the toilet, dislodged the u bend, flooded bathroom, water escaped through floor boards and light fitment into lounge below. We used about 10 towels to mop up water. The plumber didn't clean up any mess and couldn't find the blockage. He initially asked for £350, we refused, it was reduced to £180, we still refused as he'd caused damage. He eventually insisted on £50 cash or bank transfer. This happened on 11/12/2014. Today we contacted them to try to claim back the £50. We were threatened that the bailiffs would arrive within an hour as we'd not paid the £350. I told them I would contact the police. Their contact numbers change and you can only access them from the link in the Google listing. I suspect they have now blocked mine and possibly my husbands phone numbers. This company charged us a call out fee, caused damage in our home and didn't solve the toilet blockage. I seriously question their competence and their ethics. I wish Google didn't have them listed.

They demanded 504 ENGLISH POUNDS for pluggin in ONE DAMN CABLE and then gave me attitude when I said I didn't have that kind of money. All after they demanded an extra 100 FOR DAMN MATERIALS. What are u? Thieves? I think so. The guy spent an hour at mine but charged me for 2, the "manager" was unpleasant as hell and should be let go as fast as possible. Y'all can go to hell, whatever u do don't call them, watch a YouTube tutorial or call a friend, don't get scammed like me. Shut these little shats down.

I wouldn't even give them 1 start as it isn't worth it. I was willing the pay the call out charge. But upon arrival I wasn't even told the issue nor got asked if they could proceed with the works. The guy just did it and demanded 444£ to unblock a toilet with an electric flusher, which took him 5 minutes. In front of 3 children who you could clearly srr were getting very distressed. He would not leave unless the money went into the bank account. Avoid at all costs because I paid 100£ into the bank account and threatened the guy with the police to get him out of my house away from the children. It is now reported to the bank as a suspected scam. So more fool the company for trying to con someone, who in there eyes may have seemed clueless. Not this time hun. Ignore every single good review on their website. The website design changes every time you go onto it and sometimes the number changes that you call

Paid £450 for an electrician to come out start the job and now I can't get a hold of the electrictain and the company is not helping me in the slightest. Avoid!!

I wish i had seen these reviews and not the fake ones on the website. The plumber that came out was great and sorted out our major leak. My problem is with 24/7 Pro who did not inform me of the rates and charged my £750 for 2 hours work. Avoid this company at all cost or it will cost a fortune.

Sent a rude person who doesn't know the basics. Before you start a job turn off the water at the stop tap. The. Place was like a waterfall. The bathroom had pools of water and the water was running out of the pipe. It cost me £282. And was told to get another plumber.

An absolute nightmare! Had a tiny leak- He pulled the ceiling down and the laminate floor upstairs up. Fixed a tiny leak then asked for over £800. We were intimidated over the phone and MADE to pay before he would leave!!-
My husband is seriously ill, so in the end we just had to give in and pay. It was terrifying!!
They do not give a receipt for their work or any kind of guarantee or invoice, so you cannot claim on your insurance.
Avoid like the plague!! BEWARE they are complete fraudsters!!!
