I'd really like to help figure out what happened here, because the filing history we have doesn't match what you've described.
Our records show that you've filed with 2290Tax twice, both in February 2026. One of those filings was a VIN correction with no tax due. We also don't have any record of you contacting our customer service team about a payment problem with either filing.
The payment of your IRS taxes is separate from the fee you pay 2290Tax for the filing service, and there are several different ways those taxes can be paid. Without speaking with you, I can't tell what happened with the IRS payment you're referring to.
Please give us a call at 909-596-0050, Monday–Friday, 5am–5pm Pacific. Our Customer Service team is here year round and would be happy to look at the filing with you and help determine what happened.
Very easy!!
