Constant failure in distribution
First of all, I want to appreciate the opportunity of allowing artists share their art to the world for free, however, what is worth doing is worth doing well, why give people chance to upload for free but weak customer service, massive delay in going live and several times you reject artists songs without a reason or review that’s terrible honestly. I’ve been using 1604 since 2024, but I only uploaded one song successfully, the rest gets rejected without a particular reason or customer service guidance. Good luck to you guys though.

However, we would like to clarify an important point. Releases on our platform are never rejected without a reason. Whenever a submission does not meet store guidelines, our review team always provides a specific reason for the rejection. This information is sent to the artist by email and is also visible directly on the release page within the dashboard.
In addition, we provide detailed FAQs and guidance that explain common store requirements and how to prepare releases so they comply with platform guidelines. These policies are set by the digital stores themselves and we must enforce them to ensure music is accepted by platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others.
If you are experiencing difficulties with specific releases, we encourage you to open a support ticket so our team can review your case and provide guidance. Our goal is always to help artists successfully distribute their music while following store requirements.
We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to improving the experience for all artists using 1604ENT.

We want to address the “scammer” comment directly because transparency and trust are extremely important to us. 1604ENT does not engage in any fraudulent activity, and thousands of artists currently use our platform successfully for distribution, reporting, and payouts.
Regarding stats and revenue, streaming platforms release reporting data on their own timelines, which means there can sometimes be a delay before numbers appear in your dashboard. This is an industry standard and not specific to our platform.
Release restrictions
For a company that claims to support independent artists and labels they typically don't seem to give that impression. "Release restrictions" are randomly placed on accounts without any communication to state reasoning. After a countless number of non-responsive support tickets I created, I recieved an email, stating "a release restriction was placed on some accounts due to a [high volume] of submissions". As an artist manager, I have worked with over 10 distributors who deliver thousands to millions of songs a day, never have I heard of a distributor restricting artists from releasing their music, that creates a record label impression and no artist wants to be deprived from succeeding. I wouldn't recommend 1604Ent to anyone, unprofessional.
