Me and my husband went in today for our suite and Lorraine and liz could not have been more helpful. To getting the right one for us . Honestly the best service and advise about everything we bought you should go to the Prestwick designer rooms its amazing and great service. Thanks again Catherine and jim.

Was very impressed by the store layout and the staff
We were served by sales advisor James who was very helpful in helping us select what were we’re looking for.
After purchasing our items we had another look around and seen a few items that caught our eye so we will definitely be be back.

BHP Store (Braehead), James , fantastic customer service. My friend and I went to browse and one left with a new dining suite, the other a the beautiful Sensum Diffuser. Friendly and knowledgeable young man , not pushy in the slightest , hence the purchase. A credit to your store

Visited The Designer Rooms Braehead

Visited The Designer Rooms Braehead. Bought 2 lamps in the sale. Got them home, unpacked them and the gold on both shades were severly scratched and hideous to look at. Called them and they said they were exdisplay models. There were no signage for customers notifying them they were ex display or reduced from original price due to ex display. I assumed that they were brand new but they are not. When calling them they said bring them in for exchange or credit note, they are refusing to refund me and breaching their own returns policy which clearly states on their websife full refund within 30 days. They are clearly selling damaged goods without notifing the customers which is illegal

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your purchase from our Braehead store.

We would like to clarify that the two lamps purchased were ex-display items and were being sold from our dedicated clearance table at a substantially reduced price. Clearance and ex-display products may show signs of being on display or handled, which is reflected in the reduced selling price.

We’re sorry if you did not realise at the time of purchase that the lamps were ex-display. However, we would like to reassure customers that we do not knowingly sell damaged goods as new.

Regarding our returns policy, the 30-day refund policy referenced on our website does not apply in the same way to clearance/ex-display items purchased in-store. Our team has offered for the lamps to be returned to the store for an exchange or credit note.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the signage around our clearance area and will take this on board to ensure the status of ex-display and clearance products is as clear as possible for customers going forward.
