I had my MOT with sytner group as I bought my car from them a few years ago and bought a lifetime MOT package. The last 2 MOTs I have booked at least 4 months in advance to get a Saturday of my choosing. However also the last 2 years they have called a couple of weeks before and had to cancel it and rebook. No Saturdays left so then had to take what's left over which I didn't want but had no choice so had to change things around to fit. Hope it doesn't happen again next time

The whole team were exceptional, friendly professional and could not do enough for you. We were looked after by Nathan who was exceptional in every way.
I can thoroughly recommend buying a new or used car from this dealership and you will be really pleased about making that decision.

Could do better at - once i bought the car and all of the paperwork was sorted out, I was given the key and told the car was outside. I think it would have been nice to be escorted to where the car was and made sure I was fully competent with all of the buttons and indicators (I spent alt of time in the car looking at all of the dials etc before I felt confident to drive it off the forecourt)
The wifi system also needs to be better esp if you are expecting people to scan the QR code for each car, so that you can see the cars details etc.

My wife and I purchased a 73 plate Mazda CX-5 on 20 January from Sytner Select Swindon. I checked the vehicle over and noticed that the satnav didn't work because the SD card was missing. I queried this and the Sales Manager, Markus Gurung, sent me an email and gave me a printed copy stating that they would order the SD card from Mazda and send it to me within approx three weeks.

Five weeks passed and no SD card. I emailed Markus on several occasions and was ignored. I called, left a message, and was ignored. I eventually submitted a complaint via the Sytner website which appeared to have some effect as Markus emailed me on the 23 March to tell me the SD card had been ordered and would be with me soon.

I waited until the 5 May - no SD card - so I chased again. I emailed Markus again chasing it and was ignored. On the 1 June I submitted yet another complaint via the frankly useless Sytner complaint process. This generated another phone call where the person apologised and yet again claimed that the SD card had been ordered and would be with me in a few weeks.

Here we are on the 13 July and STILL no SD card. It's absolutely laughable that this outfit can take your money and then lie and lie and lie to customers. The Sytner "130 point check" is obviously nonsense as it didn't pick up the fact that the satnav didn't work. Nor did it pick up the fact that the driver's electric door mirror also doesn't work, which I only discovered a month or so down the line. Obviously, I'll get this fixed on the Mazda manufacturer's warranty as I wouldn't trust Sytner as far as I can throw them. The whole experience has been one of endless deception and lies.

Please do buy from Sytner Select Swindon if you want to be lied to, both in person and via email and phone and if you wish to spend hours of your time chasing something that should be incredibly easy to resolve. Absolute shambles.

Sytner Select Swindon is just the perfect place to buy a new car...amazing staff...will definitly be the first place i will look when i need another car...Nitin and Nathan were just the right person to help me on on the process...highly recommend to everyone.

Everyone was so lovely thank you to Jay and Nathan especially very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all of our questions and let us test drive the car on dual carriageway. Josh and Nathan were both incredibly helpful whilst we purchased our new car. Josh was friendly, approachable and answered all the questions we had. He made us feel at ease whilst out on the test drive, especially helpful as we do not know the area. Nathan took time to go through all the finance details. We were not rushed and plenty of time and care was taken busy Josh and Nathan to make it an enjoyable experience.

Excellent Service Experience
I am very pleased with the service I received. The entire process was handled professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. The work carried out on my vehicle was completed to a high standard, and I was kept informed throughout.
I would also like to especially recognise the customer care representative who assisted me. They were extremely supportive, pleasant, and courteous at all times. Their friendly attitude, patience, and willingness to help made the experience smooth and stress-free.

Worst used car dealership.
I purchased a Citroën ë-C4 from Sytner in October 2025. Within just five months, the vehicle developed a faulty track rod end. I raised a Consumer Rights Act claim, but Sytner rejected it after a Dekra inspection labelled it "wear and tear," leaving me without a car for a week.Interestingly, Sytner's partner warranty company did agree to cover the repair. Because warranties typically exclude standard wear and tear, this coverage strongly suggests the defect was inherently present from the beginning.Only one week after that repair, a separate, serious fault developed with the steering mechanism. The warranty company initially told my garage they would source the replacement part. They later changed their stance, instructing my garage to find it instead. The part is currently unavailable, and the warranty team has stopped replying to my emails.I have owned this vehicle for less than nine months, and it has been plagued with steering and suspension issues since month five. Because I cannot get the replacement part, the vehicle is a serious safety risk and is completely compromised. Sytner sold me a problematic car and their partner warranty company has now abandoned communication. Avoid this dealership.

Its been more thn 3 weeks now no reply.

Both Platon and Niall were really friendly and informative throughout the whole process of me financing a new vehicle. They explained each stage diligently and answered all questions I had in maximum detail. There was a minor wait of 24hrs due to a finance company delaying the process, but this was through no fault of Sytner. They were very helpful throughout the process and once approved, delivered the new car to me at my address. I can only recommend using their service.

Great service from start to finish. Ella deserves a mention as she provided any information we requested and provided additional photos and video to show the preparation of our vehicle while we waited to collect. All of the staff were very helpful and made our experience enjoyable. The cars are prepped to a high standard also. I’ll be back for my next vehicle!

Senior leaders of Sytner – give them both a pay rise.

I was impressed that Sytner have moved themselves away from the previous Car Shop persona, and offer a personal service and clear aftercare with their initial/purchase promise such as battery, tyres, pads assurance etc, and the 3-month small warranty.
I also realised after I bought some breakdown cover, that Sytner had covered this free for 3 months as well (I clearly wasn’t listening properly again!).

Overall, recommend as a great place to buy a vehicle, service and experience was excellent, Kuba and Aiden were patient, friendly, professional, and knew their subject matter.

Great service

Went in on Saturday to exchange our car and get something new, the service we received From Azher and Kuba was second to none and made the whole experience from start to finish easy and enjoyable. Both were brilliant to deal with and nothing was too hard for them and helped us with all question and help find the right car we was looking for. We have always dealt with this places for our cars and will continue to go back thanks to the brilliant and professional service we get from the likes of Azher and Kuba who I highly recommend for your next car when you visit.
