This has to be the worst service oriented business I’ve ever come across. I was charged a late fee on an invoice before they credited me the previous invoice that I paid the month prior. It’s another case of the accounts receivable department being the quickest in the office and accounts payable being the slowest.
Piece of advice, take care of the only source of income you have or expect to lose it.
Update: I have late fees that were incurred because they refunded my original $4500 deposit late. They then sent another invoice for another $5400 for the deposit of a different office space plus first month (never moved in to the first office space so was expecting a refund). I had to bring up receiving the refund to them and couldn’t spend upwards of $10k on this issue and needed the refund first. In a situation like this, it’s important to take the situation into consideration rather than the policy. However, as you can see from their reply, they’re only focused on the policy and although they refunded the late fee, are still pointing out the fact that I was late. I am very aware I was late however expecting a small business to dish out $10k simply because “invoices are due on the 15th” and “your refund is processing for the next 5-7 days” is my problem here. Take care of your customers, do what’s right, let go of the policy and understand the situation and extend some grace.
These are the reasons I have said no when being asked to remove my review.
