Richer sounds in Gidea Park are great. I wanted a tv for a visually impaired relative with a voice controlled remote so it was good to actually be able to speak to someone to discuss options. The TV recommended is perfect. I would urge anyone after Tv Hi Fi etc to go have a chat rather than blindly order on the internet. You will be really impressed with the range of goods and knowledge of staff.

I had a minor issue with a creased up turntable mat, however a manager reached out to me and resolved the issue as a matter of urgency and delivered a new upgraded mat as way of apology, (which was a factory packing issued and not the store) Fantastic company and massive thank you to Tom and of course Steve who sold me the item.

Good company .I’m not a hi fi purist ,that means I have a Ltd budget for equipment , but I try and buy quality for what I can afford . They offer good advice ,quality and value imho.

Visited the Romford/Gidea Park store for advice on a replacement CD player for our music appreciation group based at Hornchurch Library and as expected I received excellent service and good advice bearing in mind our limited financial budget. Thanks to Graham for his friendly and competent advice and assistance in the store.

I went to buy a new record deck but was undecided on which one to buy, all my questions were answered by the shop manager. All the discounts were taken off the purchase price without asking and we were told it could be 4 to 5 days for delivery. Delivery came the next day, the shop staff were very helpful and extremely efficient.

Knowledgeable member of staff. Really pleased with items purchased. Disappointed the items were not available to take away but were instead delivered the next day free of charge including some cable free of charge. Had to remind the salesman to deduct £10 for being a V.I.P. member.

I contacted Richer Sounds Romford back in March to ask about price matching. They responded promptly, which I appreciated, and explained they couldn’t match the offer on a 55-inch TCL TV because the other retailer only provided a 2-year warranty, whereas Richer Sounds includes a 6-year warranty. That’s a fair and reasonable point.
I then asked whether there were any offers available for the larger 65-inch version. Initially, I didn’t receive a response, but after chasing, they confirmed there were no special deals.
Based on that, I decided to go ahead with the 55-inch model and emailed again to ask how to proceed with placing the order. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any reply. While I can understand missing one email due to being busy, it happened again at the point where I was ready to make a purchase.
What makes this more frustrating is their automated response proudly states they will reply within 24 hours. In my experience, that simply wasn’t the case. If this is something they can’t consistently deliver, it shouldn’t be stated so confidently.
Overall, the initial response was helpful and fair, but the lack of follow-up when I was actively trying to buy gives the impression of poor communication and lack of customer care.
In the end, I placed the order through their website myself. While the product offering and warranty are strong, the experience made me question the value of contacting the store at all, as it felt like meaningful customer interaction was lacking.

Great service given a credit note for a previous purchase the recommendations for replacement headphones were incredible ! Cannot recommend the seinhssuset adr680 highly enoungh . Great headphones
