Great shopping experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Equipment is available to try out, in-store. Best prices I could find, anywhere. Great range of TV, HiFi, etc.
Parking places directly outside of the shop are very convenient, too.

New headphones
Called into Richer Sounds to see if they had the make and model of headphones I was looking for. Service was outstanding. I left the store after about 5 minutes with the headphones and the bill was discounted by £10. Great result as always from Richer Sounds.

Great service as always
The staff were incredibly helpful and ordered my streamer without any hitches which arrived the next day. I also got a small discount as I needed to get a dongle so I can use it with headphones.

First-class service
First time buying from Richer Sounds and the experience was flawless. A huge thank you to Shaun for being so helpful and holding an order for me, which allowed me to secure a great deal. The customer service here is responsive, professional, and far superior to other retailers. I will definitely choose them again for future electronics purchases!

Old fashioned Service
Richer Sounds a consistently good company, with good products and service to match. My Hisense 50" TV was delivered on time and the date quoted. It is always a pleasurable experience to visit the Middlesbrough Store, my thanks to Paul.

Regarding Richer Sounds Customer Service addressing a very problematic AV Amp purchase...
It was addressed and I received a replacement the very next day.
They organised the pickup with the delivery.
And I was good to go...
As far as the purchase of the Amp, that tested my patience and sanity, but the exchange was up and running.
Fully configured with both my power amp, 5.1.2 speaker setup and media server.
So...i can sleep easy...

Disappointed
Disappointed, I thought that the 6 year guarantee was for 6 years, I never realised that you would not repair the TV and only offer partial refund. I now have to go and buy another TV. I should have just bought a cheap one to begin with. The staff in Middlesbrough were really helpful but bound by this policy.

It's obviously disappointing to learn of the problems with your television, and that despite our best efforts it could not be repaired.
In these instances we generally supply a credit note, taking into account the age of the set. Prices of similar technology naturally depreciate over time meaning that in most cases customers can simply either replace their unit using the credit or upgrade should they wish. I also noted that the TV in question was a replacement for a previous faulty set under the same guarantee, so I'm sorry of course you've experienced another faulty item, and that it wasn't clear what the resolution would be this time for whatever reason.
I will arrange for our team to get in touch and help resolve the issue, and if I can be of any more help in the meantime do let me know..
