THE SERVICE AND MOT WERE EXCELLENT,HOWEVER,THE CAR WOULD NOT START ON THE NEXT DAY,THE BATTERY HAD BEEN REPLACED IN THE WEEK PREVIOUSLY,NOW TELL ME I NEED A NEW ALTERNATOR WHICH WOULD COST £750.

First day I booked tyre change and wheel alignment test. Unfortunately I waited 4 hrs and there is no tyre available and wheel alignment test also denied. Second day you guys changed tyres but denied to do wheel alignment test. I booked both as a package with promotional prize. I got refund. But now I need to pay extra money to do the wheel alignment test. So it's a financial lost for me. My time and money wasted.

Excellent customer service from the team here, 3rd time using Protyre in Durham in the last 6 months and very happy with the result. Knowledge and customer service are consistently good. Excellent user friendly website if needing to book out of hours. Jack Hurst helped to diagnose and fix an issue that could of cost me a lot more in time,

Booked online for an MOT which was all fine. But they didn't call me back when done (which they said they would do) and they didn't replace a bulb as requested.
I only use them because they're the closest garage... The customer service which used to set them apart when they were independent isn't there any more.

Very helpful staff and very efficient. Booked in for MOT.car needed two new tyres they ordered, fitted and I was very pleased with the service.

Booked in for two tyres changed. There is no parking at this garage so I arrived on time and went to pull the car into the garage, I was met by two agreessive hostile tyre fitters shouting telling me to back out. They then asked if I had an appointment, to which I told them I did and then they backed down and pulled my car into the exact space I was moving into. There are no signs saying not for this to happen or where to park. 40 minutes later the tyre fitter came and told me the car was done and nothing about the damage they had done to the rim protectors. As you can see in the photo it has been pulled off in multiple places. They should have atleast told me about this, but clearly were holding a grudge from earlier. They have also failed to do the one basic task of installing a valve cap on the driver side tyre. This use to be a good garage and since the new ownership has plummeted, only use this place if it's a last resort, as you can see by the multiple 1 star reviews.
