3rd time lucky...
Went to purchase a new bed and matress from the store in Bangor in December. Staff in store were faultless.
After a pleasant store experience, I waited the agreed 3-4 months for my bed to arrive and that's where it all went wrong...
1st delivery - The bed was half built then realised that the wrong side panels were sent. The bed could not be slept in and the room couldn't be used. We waited around another 4 weeks for the panels to arrive.
2nd delivery - Had to take a day off work at my own expense. Bed arrived and was built, we were informed that the wrong base was sent and they would need to come back. Discovered the sound bar wasn't working also, but at least we could sleep on the bed and mattress that we spent a fortune on including installation.
3rd delivery - Again, having to take a day off work at my own expense, I waited for the the delivery. I was absolutely shocked to find that the bed was built and actually correct. The bed has been completed 7 months after purchasing it and nearly 3 months from the 1st delivery.
This was an exciting purchase and with all the messing around it really took the shine off it. Spent nearly £3k on a bed and mattress but will certainly be taking my money elsewhere in the future. My Grandmother purchased a bed recently and had quoted with Dreams. I convinced her to go with another company, even though they were more expensive and she had her bed in no time.

We popped into the Ayr store for a look and Kieron was very helpful and honest and gave us some good advice. So thanks to Kieron we ended up purchasing a new Tempur mattress and we can’t wait to try it. Thank you keiron and keep up the good work 👍
Fabulous staff in IOW store bad Head office experience
Before I start I want to give a shout out to the amazing Jennifer at the Isle of Wight store. She is a credit to you and the reason you were given as many stars as I have done. Honestly if I was just rating Jennifer you’d get 5 stars because she worked so hard and and was so lovely and polite! Unfortunately since then our experience of Dreams has gone downhill! We had an email to say that there was a change of systems and we would no longer be able to pay our balance the week before in store but we could ring head office. Well my husband has called on numerous occasions and each time had no response. He has called the Isle of Wight store explaining he has tried to pay the balance but no response each time! We get a call from a gentleman at sittingbourne branch wanting to take our balance so our bed could be delivered tomorrow. My husband was slightly suspicious as IOW store had told us that no stores could accept payment due to change in systems and the new system was having problems too. So he asked the gentleman from sittingbourne how much the balance was, this did not match our records. He asked the gentleman what the order number was, this did not match our records. He asked how much deposit we’d paid this did not match our records. So understandably my husband did not wish to give our credit card details for fear of a scam or just our money not being attached to the correct order. The gentleman from sittingbourne said he understood and would email head office. My husband, worried that Dreams would see us refusing payment and cancel the order, rang IOW branch to explain what had happened. They reassured us that they were still delivering with payments owing as they recognised it was a them problem! We then received our time slot for delivery tomorrow. Fabulous we thought! So excited to get our lovely new bed! We set about taking our bed apart and getting the room ready so they could put the bed together as quickly as possible the next day. Only to receive a phone call (not long after the text but long enough to dismantle a bed frame) from the iow to tell us they can only deliver our mattress tomorrow! Not much use as we are going for a larger bed so have no bed frame to put it on! But our bed frame was still on the mainland as the firm had had a breakdown and they couldn’t tell us when it will be delivered! May be the truth also seems mighty convenient to have a breakdown on a load of orders you haven’t received payment for because of your incompetence in not keeping the old system active until the orders you had on it had been processed. So we have just spent the afternoon taking our bed apart only for us to have to put it back together again because Lord only knows when we might see this blooming bed! Really this is not a Dream experience!
