My second FUE procedure at the Wimpole Clinic.

My surgeon, Dr Ulf, was fantastic — genuinely kind, approachable, and fully involved throughout the entire day. He made himself available to me at every stage, encouraged me to ask plenty of questions, and gave practical, honest, and transparent advice that really put me at ease. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending him. Follow-up care from Kristy was excellent. She was always available, responsive, and supportive, making the whole process smooth and reassuring.

Thanks also to the technicians, Vinay, Bala, Saafiya and Marzieh. A really top class team.

I am a 58 yr old New Yorker staying in London for the week and I am on day 5 of my post op FUE procedure. I have had approximately 1200 grafts put on the crown ( had been completely bald there) and 1200 put on the front to reinforce my hair line. So far I am extremely happy with the experience. Dr. Barry and Simone spent quality patient time with me the day before the procedure explaining how they would proceed. The clinic itself is quite nice and has a very calm atmosphere. There was zero discomfort during the FUE procedure. Simone has been checking up with me every morning on whatsapp/phone reminding me about proper post op care. Happily I have had minimal swelling/itching/discomfort and feel the healing is proceeding very well. It has really been an excellent and caring experience! I will probably add to this post every 3 months as the results come in.

I first visited the Wimpole Clinic in Harley Street, London 3 years ago for a hair loss consultation after the discovery of a thinning crown and mid scalp shocked my system into an utterly horrendous and terrifying state of anxiety. However, in spite of how awful I felt about myself, the wonderful and compassionate Marie-Royce talked me through how absolutely normal hair loss is for a man, and that there were options. At the time due to the sheer heights of anxiety I'd been experiencing, Marie actually turned me away from the possibility of jumping straight into getting a transplant with them on the basis that she could see that tackling the mental health issues first was of paramount importance. This gesture alone was the greatest green flag imaginable and showed me that this isn't the kind of place that just wants your money, they want to see you fulfilled, confident and finally feel like YOU again.

Fast forward 3 years to now - after enduring years of therapy, self-awareness and just, life - I returned stronger and more mentally resilient than ever before, deciding to pull the trigger and get this done. I also brought with me my best friend who had opened up a lot to me about the anguish of hair loss and so we agreed that if either of us ever went for it, the other would come too and we'd do this as a team, as brothers in a shared struggle. I'm delighted to say that two days ago, we did it!!!

However, none of this would have happened if not for Marie and the level of compassion, patience and empathy she showed me in that consultation years ago. She was the reason I came back to the Wimpole Clinic and not somewhere in Turkey. When I contacted the clinic to have our consultation for the actual transplant, I insisted it be with her for this reason and my friend trusted my judgement so much that he joined me with complete faith.

Now it's only day 2 after the procedure and I will come back to update this when enough time has passed for the regrowth to come through but in terms of the actual experience, we both couldn't have been happier. From start to finish we were greeted by the lovely welcome desk team, then Marie arrived all smiles and warm hugs as always to usher us into the waiting room and check in with our nerves, what we'd eaten, how we were getting home etc. literally the level of care was beyond heart warming.

The procedure itself went far more smoothly than I'd expected: aesthesia injections were done briefly and checks made to ensure no further sensations were felt, then grafts removed from donor region for a few hours, a break for lunch (the guys even ordered me food from Joe & the Juice because I eat a plant-based diet) then onto graft placements and although it took around 6-7 hours, you just treat it like a day at work - it flies by. Doctor Ricardo Correia was absolutely awesome: such a professional in his field but also compassionate and reassuring, answering any questions throughout and his assistant technicians were both fantastic at their trade too - they both kept me laughing so much as an added bonus!

Anyway, all in all so far so good. I can't speak for final results yet but the aftercare has been astounding. Neither myself nor my best friend feel cast away from the clinic now that its done, Marie has been onto us daily checking if we're using the right spray solution, taking the correct painkillers etc. so I cannot fault that service either.

If you're thinking about having a hair transplant, if you were like me for years throwing the idea around and endlessly going in circles with self-doubt whether or not to to it, there's really no need. Do yourself a favour, treat yourself to this gift of science that allows you to reverse something that's causing you to feel anxious, lose confidence and doubt yourself but most importantly - choose the Wimpole Clinic.

Love to you all - never stop loving yourself. This isn't something you NEED, it's something you WANT to enhance a superficial part of you, but you already have everything you need within because you're amazing. Hair is hair, but if its causing you to feel emotions that are ruining your valuable life and affecting your mental health, then find the courage inside to make a change and go for it: you deserve this!

I could not recommend this clinic more. From beginning to end, the process was smooth, seamless and completely hassle-free. Firstly, Simone was exceptional. His help and guidance during the pre and post op phases of my treatment was wonderful, taking the time to answer all my questions in detail. Dr Riccardo was also wonderful as was his team. On the day of my procedure, I felt safe and cared for throughout the whole day, everyone understood how nerve-wracking undergoing surgery is and I was completely reassured the whole time. The surgery also went well and I went home that day with 0 complications. In the week following my surgery, I had daily guidance from Simone about how to care for my wounds as well as how to clean my grafts. I’m now 7 months post op and I couldn’t be happier with my result!

Can’t rate this company enough from start to finish there attention to details is incredible.

Amazing experience overall with Wimpole Clinic. James was fantastic to deal with throughout the build-up to the procedure and with the aftercare afterwards.

I’m a professional racing driver, so one of my main concerns beforehand was how quickly I’d be able to get back to wearing a race helmet and doing my job normally. I had 1,700 grafts with Dr Moussa, focused only on the front of my hairline, and I was back racing with a helmet on just three weeks later with no issues.

Dr Moussa and the nurses were brilliant and genuinely made the whole procedure very enjoyable. Of course, the anaesthetic injections hurt for maybe a minute, but after that the remaining 6–7 hours were honestly far more comfortable and enjoyable than I ever expected.

Another big positive for me was that I was able to keep the hair on top of my head long. This meant I could quite easily cover the transplanted area while the new hair was growing through, so the whole process was much less noticeable than I had expected.

I’ll likely need to have the crown area at the back done at some point in the future, but after my first experience I have absolutely zero concerns about going back to Wimpole and Dr Moussa again.

I couldn’t recommend Wimpole highly enough. I also have family and friends who have used them and had equally great experiences and results.

Outstanding clinic and people in general. Put you at complete ease on any worries you may have since it’s such a big decision. From the first consultation right up to post recovery it’s been first class. Husnain has been outstanding from our first meeting and is always a text away if I have any questions.

Dr. Firdous and her team I can’t recommend highly enough. Had no worries at all in her and her team’s ability to deliver my hair dream. On Day 12 post 2100 FUE and had no hiccups or complications at all thanks to the execution and attentiveness of Dr. Firdous & Husnain. Looking forward to my check up in a few months so they can see the results of what they did.

I had a 2500 Graft FUE transplant at Wimpole and I’m 7 months in. I really happy with the result, it looks natural and already substantial and I have another 4 months till it reaches full maturity

The pre op and the op days were very smooth and Dr Barry guided me as to what would look the most natural for my age and how many follicles I would need to transplant. Of course I wanted more follicles but he advised me for less. This is the difference in the natural result.

Simone’s daily after care was vital, professional and informative

I just had the post op 6 month appointment and Dr Barry and Simone took lots of care and attention in explaining what else I could expect in the next 4 months of maturity

I had my consultation with Stephen who explained every single step in detail and knew the answer to every question possible, on the day of the procedure I was taken excellent care of. Dr Bari and his team were fantastic throughout. The aftercare also was very easy with a 2 week instruction manual and the ability to speak to Stephen whenever if I had any concerns was very helpful, truly couldn’t recommend wimpole enough.

I had an incredible experience at Wimpole. Simone served as an excellent resource during both my pre care and post op recovery, and Dr. Barry and his team were total professionals who made the day of the procedure go as smoothly as possible. I had a great experience with the Wimpole Clinic for my hair transplant. My initial consultation was with KJ, he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Having been losing my hair since my mid twenties I finally decided, age 52, to do something about it! I’d heard about the FUE procedure and, from what I’d read online, this seemed to be the way to go. I chose Wimpole clinic as I wanted to have the procedure done at a reputable UK clinic and they had a pre op office in Brighton near where I live. I met James Walton in the Brighton office and he was understanding and very knowledgeable about the process, he explained that, with my hairline, I was an ideal candidate for FUE. I had the procedure done in Harley Street in April with an amazing team of professionals overseen by Dr Peter Barron. I had about 3000 grafts and the process took about 8 hours, I felt in safe hands throughout and the team couldn’t have been nicer. Everything was well explained to me and I was well looked after. After the procedure I was sent home with a thorough plan of what to do each day for the 2 weeks immediately afterwards. I followed this exactly and had daily WhatsApp messages with James so he could see that everything was progressing as it should. I’m now almost 5 months in and the new hair growth is really starting to develop. I’ve had lots of positive comments and am feeling so much better about my appearance. If you’re considering having the FUE hair transplant procedure then I highly recommend Wimpole clinic. It will change your life!

I had an eyebrow transplant at The Wimpole Clinic and I am delighted with the results.

I’ve always had naturally fine eyebrows which were made worse by over-plucking so they were very sparse and bothered me for years. I’d had microblading several times before but they never looked natural so I decided to explore having an eyebrow transplant. I struggled to find any clinics that specialised in eyebrow transplants in the UK but I eventually came across Marie Royce’s Instagram page and was impressed by how precise and perfectly proportioned her eyebrow designs are. It was evident that Marie has an excellent eye for detail and is very skilled at designing and shaping eyebrows.

I went ahead and booked a consultation with Marie at the Wimpole Clinic - she was excellent at explaining the procedure and I had complete confidence in her expertise.

On the day of the transplant, I met the team who would carry out the procedure and everyone was lovely. The doctor was excellent, he was very professional and talked me through the process, it was surprising painless. The doctor is clearly very experienced at undertaking hair transplants and I have been left with a small/neat scar on the back of my head (I opted for the FUT method).

In terms of shaping my new eyebrows, Marie carefully mapped and designed them, ensuring that they complemented my facial features and looked natural. Marie also asked for my feedback on the designs to be sure that I was completely happy with the shape ahead of the transplant. During the procedure itself, the practitioners who implanted the hair follicles were superb, they were ever so careful and meticulous to ensure my eyebrows were perfect. The whole team was amazing and the procedure and recovery was far more comfortable than I was expecting.

I would highly recommend the Wimpole Clinic to anyone considering a hair transplant.

The communication was disappointing. I often had difficulty getting clear answers to my questions, and the lack of timely updates made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be.

I recently had a procedure at Wimpole Clinic and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. I chose the clinic based on a colleague's recommendation, and I honestly can't imagine getting a better service elsewhere.

I was treated by Dr Firdous Mohyuddin, with Husnain as my advisor throughout — both were fantastic from start to finish. The procedure itself lasted over 10 hours, and the specialist team — Billie, Hana and Tadashi — along with several other staff members who assisted, were incredibly patient and attentive the entire time.

What really stood out was the level of care that went beyond the procedure itself: two members of staff stayed with me until I was safely in my taxi home, just to make sure I was comfortable. The daily follow-up reviews and guidance since then have also been genuinely useful.

It's early days and I'm looking forward to seeing the full results over the next year, but based on the care and professionalism shown so far, I'd wholeheartedly recommend Wimpole Clinic.

My experience with Wimpole clinic was excellent from start to finish. They listened to my thoughts from the get-go and I never felt pressured or like I was being sold anything (like I had experienced at other clinics), I had great confidence in them right from the start. Kate was particularly excellent and knowledgeable, always on hand for any questions or concerns throughout. Dr Barri and the technicians Izzi and Manz were phenomenal on the day too. It was a great journey throughout, I loved every step of the way and have absolutely no faults with them. Already starting to see results and I can't wait to see where I end up.
