We had such a great experience with the Sofology team in Peterborough! Huge shoutout to Jamie and Danielle for creating such an amazing atmosphere from the moment we walked in. There was absolutely no pressure to make a purchase – just a genuinely friendly conversation that felt more like a relaxed Sunday family dinner than being in a shop.

They were incredibly patient and understanding with all of our questions (and with our little one, who was only interested in the fluffy chair the whole time 😄). Thanks to their help, we ended up choosing amazing sofas that we will be enjoying in our new home.

We loved the fact the salesman left us alone to choose at our leisure. The quality of the sofas was good too as was the choice off styles and colours .

Would be an easy 5 stars if your material swatches were easier to obtain. Couldn’t order on line and if it wasn’t for Sue in customer services I would have given up and purchased elsewhere.

We were looking for a sofa to replace our old leather suite, and after visiting several showrooms and going on line we were able to collate enough information that will give us a great quality product at a price we could afford. Sofology ticked all boxes, the staff member was impressive in her knowledge in Sofas in particular the robust manufacture of framework materials and quality of fabrics.

Sofology was the first furniture store whose representatives didn’t pounce on us as soon as walked in! We were left to mooch and were gently asked if we needed help at the right time which makes a big difference when you’re traipsing around every shop trying to find the right sofa! We had a lovely ‘sofalogist’ called Sai who was brilliant. Two visits later and we finally picked our sofa not feeling harassed or pushed into a decision that we were on the fence with.

Danielle and Ben were fab. Explained everything. Danielle took her time showing us all the sofa beds in turn. Nothing was too much trouble.

Really good experience bought an amazing sofa

Ordering a sofa from Sofology is less a purchase and more a lesson in patience.

The showroom experience is excellent — welcoming staff, comfortable sofas, and reassuring promises about delivery dates. Sadly, that appears to be where the efficiency ends.

Our sofa was confidently promised for delivery today. Instead, we’ve had what can only be described as complete radio silence. No update, no explanation, and no communication whatsoever. At this stage the customer appears to be expected to develop some form of furniture-based clairvoyance to determine where their order might be.

To be fair, the sofa may yet turn out to be wonderful. Unfortunately, as it hasn’t actually arrived, that remains a matter of theoretical physics rather than lived experience.

Still, one must remain optimistic. After all, Sofology have shown great skill in selling sofas — delivering them may simply be the advanced module.

Kate was a very professional lady who helped us to buy the perfect 3 and 2 seater Leather, power recliners.

Great experience with Famida, on Saturday 7th of March 2026. Professional, patient, attentive, listened and advised when asked questions.
