As soon as we entered the showroom a helpful.assistant approached us and showed us to the sofa we intendedto buy.
He was helpful but not pushy, polite but not.'in your face'.

We had a great experience at the Sofology store on Purley Way. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome and well looked after. The customer service was excellent throughout.

In particular, Gordon was incredibly helpful and informative. He guided us through the entire purchase process, took the time to answer our questions, and clearly explained the payment plan options available, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free.

The store itself is very well laid out, with a wide range of sofas and styles available to view, making it easy to compare options and find what we were looking for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this store to others.

Just been served by Gordon at the Croydon store. Having been up and down the Purley Way over the last 2 months I found him the most attentive. He knew exactly what we wanted and made the sale quick and painless. No jargon no pushyness just genuine advice!

Very patient and excellent customer service

Absolutely wonderful service at Sofology. They have a great balance between being present, but also giving you space to make decisions. The sofas are great quality and the sales team are knowledgable and fair. I would highly recommend this company.

Well I haven’t received my sofa just yet as I was able to get a payment plan which is excellent. So once paid off in a few weeks they will be released from the warehouse.
The lady in Sofology was amazing
She was patient and answered all of my questions and was reassuring when I wanted to set up some insurance. I did take some time to make a decision and came back the next day once I had made my decision. Even though we had discussed pricing for quite some time, when it was time to pay for the sofa it came up to over £100 more then what was discussed. I asked her to break it down again at the time and she did. But it still didn’t make sense. I was just so excited that I just went ahead and put my deposit down anyway. Once I received my documents it was £129 more then what I expected. It was a delivery charge that I was not told about at all. In all the time we had been talking, nothing about a delivery charge was mentioned. I called up to ask why I was never told about a delivery charge and they said it was just standard for a delivery charge. As a customer i would not be aware of any delivery charge and just feel a bit disappointed that I wasn’t told this direct , even though I still would have put my deposit down I think that the sellers should be absolutely direct and say there is a delivery charge because it’s quite expensive and raises the money much higher. Also she said that Sofology has never had a sale since she’s been working there for 7 years. When I googled it, that was far from the truth as the website says they’ve had plenty of sales. So I thought that was just slightly petty to say they’ve never had a sale. However I am looking forward to my new luxury sofa. And just pray they come how I’ve ordered them

What a great and straight

After browsing around Purley Cross Retail Park, stepping into Sofology Croydon felt like a breath of fresh air. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted and clearly guided through the different sofa sizes and options available. The showroom itself is absolutely beautiful—spotless, stylish, and incredibly inviting.

I’d already browsed the website beforehand and thought I knew exactly what I wanted… but wow, I didn’t expect to fall in love with so many sofas! Choosing wasn’t easy, but I eventually decided on the Cricket, and it is simply stunning.

I was even offered a lovely coffee while I took my time (and a lot of time!) exploring all the options. What really stood out was how the team worked together to help me make my decision. There was a genuine sense of teamwork and care, which was so refreshing and made the whole experience enjoyable rather than pressured.

I’ll be honest—I’m a difficult customer, and to prove it, I changed the colour once I got home! This was absolutely no trouble to the team at all. They were understanding, helpful, and made the change effortlessly, which I really appreciated.

They also very helpfully reminded me to measure my space and check door access too (lol), because of course I’d completely forgotten to do this. That extra attention and reassurance made such a difference.

I’m especially pleased with the SofaShield—with a dog, a cat, a child, and a messy husband, it was an absolute must! I also picked up the care kit because I want to keep my new beauty looking gorgeous for years to come.

Overall, I’m beyond happy with my experience at Sofology Croydon. Fantastic service, a beautiful store, and a genuinely supportive team. I’m super chuffed!

We knew we wanted a recliner sofa but hadn’t realised just how many options there were! Amen at the Croydon Depot was incredibly patient and took the time to talk us through everything, helping us narrow it down to a sofa that perfectly suited our needs.

Gordon was great I already had what I wanted in the basket from another sales person who was also great but I could not remember her name he was insistent on finding her which he did and was willing to call her but she was with someone else and I was happy to have him help me. He was honest and very attentive and also informative. I was happy with my choice but he made me feel more confident in my decision.
