I love this from Screwfix.

After filling in a form I told the truth about certain failures, nothing nasty or defamatory, just the truth about the online service, this was the response.

Ok, so they at least admitted they did not publish my review, but it go's to show they only allow 'nice' reviews!

Shopping at the Screwfix, Paris Street in Exeter was a great experience.

Big shout out to these members of staff (We only got each others surnames jokingly aha) Osbourne, Baker or Barker and I think Lisa or something similar (lovely lass with full fringe). Those guys are wonderful and have great customer service skills and product knowledge.

Will be back for sure :)

Staff member was extremely patient with my partner who has a memory issue, she didn't rush him or interrupt him.

Visited Screwfix Aldermaston today looking for wood filler for a particular project. Got superb advice from Quentin regarding which product would be most appropriate. Not in stock there but available in Basingstoke branch - all ready to collect on arrival there. Once again, very helpful, friendly staff. Would highly recommend Screwfix for knowledgeable and friendly service.

Some time ago I have been refused to be served by store Menager because I did not remember my email address to my account.

It happened again, I asked if I can buy the product without giving my account details I’ve been told “yes” but what has happened after the question it was ridiculous !

Just to clarify ,I did not swear, no aggressive behaviour, just cold calculated response to the customer service employee.

She even thrown the products in my direction.

And the amount of nonsense ….

It seems screwfix doesn't want customers.

Paid for an online order, and then about 30 mins later someone called Claire from screwfix phoned and said they would have to cancel my order as it's not been verified. I explained I went on the website and explained I paid using a debit card, and she kept repeating the same thing over and over as if I'm some kind of idiot. So they have taken my money (Yes it's left my account) yet it's not verified. What an awful company. I'll probably have to put in a fraud claim with Barclays to get my money back.

First time using Screwfix and I won't bother trying again.

Screwfix Hove — I’m a firm believer that ordering online and checking in when you arrive should make collecting a single item quicker and more efficient.

So why, when there are more staff than customers in the store, do you end up waiting while customers who simply walk in, place an order and collect their purchases before your online order is even brought out?

Even after asking a member of staff if someone could simply go and pick my one item, I was still left waiting.

Surely the whole point of ordering and checking in online is to save time, not make the process slower than just turning up and ordering at the counter.

As a Tradesman, I find it absolutely disgusting that the rewards system only seems to benefit screwfix and not it's regular customers. I spend on average £500-900 a month in screwfix, whether it be tools or parts for jobs. I unlock the rewards pretty much every month, but then have only 14 days to use them otherwise they disappear! Ridiculous!

Once earned, they should stay on our account for 6 months to atleast give us opportunity to use them on bits we may need. It's not every month I need a drill or big tool which the rewards would come in handy for.

Screwfix Brackmills Northampton, excellent customer service from Leah, went out of her way to help me solve a problem I was having with a piece of equipment, thank you for your excellent customer service

Very disappointed to receive an item which wasn't brand new. Some of the manufacturers packaging was missing. It's worth checking that the products are new before using them.

Je suis venu en tant que particulier pour acheter des chevilles afin de monter mon arbre a chats mural. J'ai étais rapidement et facilement conseillé par le vendeur. L'arbre a chat est installé et est bien en place. Ma crainte est partie! Je suis rassurée d'avoir eu le nécessaire adéquat pour la sécurité de mes matou! Et pour un prix plus que raisonnable ! Went to Screwfix Tile Hill to pick up a couple of things today.
It was around 3.30pm so store was quiet and all staff were stood at the counter.
I approached this girl with ginger hair who had a nose ring, I said can you help I just want to order a couple of things and started to give her the codes, this girl grunted at me, she was rude, un-helpful with no mannets at all and lacked any form of a personality....
I was given a receipt andagain more grunts which I guess meant now wait.
Within a few minutes my order arrived, she never offered me any help, I was trying to juggle a bag, a walking stick and a couple of heavy items.
Another member of staff saw her weakness and offered to help me which was nice. This other girl never once used the words thank you to me throughout my whole transaction.
Next time I will purchase from Tool Station who have much better manners....
This girl needs training on how to deal with customers,if she doesn't like the job get a different one...

Aberbeeg Screwfix by far the best branch in the UK Tony and Ant in there go above and beyond for customers. Always happy and helpful. These guys are a real asset to the company

Ordered Exterior wall paint on Tuesday to arrive on Saturday so I could paint the outside on Sunday on my day off and it’s a good weather forecast . I have Sat in the house all day waiting for it to arrive . Nothing arrived by 5.30 so thought I would ring to see what the status was . It says on line they are open till 6 pm on Saturday. However it’s the shops that open till 6 the call centre closed at 4 . Total disappointment that they can’t do a simple on line order and get it to arrive on time .

There app is garbage I use a browser and will not be forced to use such rubbish, a bug in their system is if you have an item in your basket that you added a month ago despite choosing another branch screwfix still delivers it to the branch from a previous add to basket and discounts are all app based grow up screwfix we all know that apps are not needed they just track and spam you with notifications.

NEXT issue after being an electrifix business customer for 15+ years. I applied for a trade account already have one with TOOLSTATION a lot better and it was nice and it was nice and easy to set up an account not screwfix/B&Q I eventually managed to open a credit account which took 2 weeks seriously and turned up in branch to swipe my trade uk card for a purchase and it declined twice, embarassing and no direct contact from this company just bots and email I guess I'll be using TOOLSTATION from now on thx.

A bsolutely brassed off with the App. Want to order an item for collection tomorrow and it won't let me pay for it. Pathetic. Can't even chat to a robot on line😡😡

Too slow to answer the phone - shocking slow. This may well be my last time ordering from you guys - your competitors are much quicker (TS) and more helpful to be totally honest. My goodness - what has happened to you guys! I waited 20 minutes and even then customer services could not fix an issue with an incorrect (old) address on my order invoices. It is a house I moved out of a month ago and I removed the address from my address book too.

Used to be good and reliable l, now it takes ages to load, to place order and to take payment they want the name your unborn grandchild.

Visited Pontyclun branch on Monday evening around 7.30, I needed to view some items to check for sizing, team member Tom went out of his way to help, bringing items to the front desk to enable me to see what was compatible with my needs, very impressed with his level of customer service, pleasant demeanour and friendly attitude.
I will say that all staff in this particular store are generally helpful, I called the following day to exchange one item and once again served by Connor, who searched for a bit holder for me which was advertised on sale but none could be found, there was stock on the plumbing counter next door, Connor located one for me. Thanks to you both
