Outlet didn't have my lens in stock despite confirming the purchase. Almost did nothing to help remedy the problem. Wait to buy accessories if you buy from them because I got stuck with a lot of non-refundable equipment that couldn't be used without the lens.

I urge not to buy from OM systems. I purchased a macro lens from them for the advertised price and had to pay the vat and duty after I received the lens. I had no option than pay as DHL senr me a legal letter demanding payment and of course as I am negotiating a mortgage could not risk any bad reports about non payment. OM systems told me not to pay but despite several e mails to them they still did not settke the account so I have had to pay £132 more for the lens. I understand this is common with them so would advise you to stay well clear of them. This is most disappointing for such a large Company.

I recently had cause to return an OM1 Mark 1 for repair to their Portugal centre, from the UK, under warranty.
It was dropped off at a local DHL collection point at 15.15 on a Friday afternoon and returned, repaired, cleaned, firmware updated and even a new hot shoe cover and flash terminal cover the following Friday at 12:39.
Brilliant service from OM Systems and DHL.
(The camera is two years old with a six month extended warranty bought direct from OM in Germany)

True to their word everything has fallen into place. The lenses are fantastic, pin sharp, even on my old EM 10MKii. On the OM 3.......WOW. Used with the OM14 I now have a 560mm pinsharp zoom. FF Equiv of 1120mm and at minimal weight compared to my Sigma 150-600 on Canon.

Maybe I was a little quick to complain. I'll up the stars to 3 for the moment. We'll see how it goes after an email reply. If all goes well I may update to a 4!!
Over the weekend I received an email that made me feel much better and that I had been a bit hasty with the review.
CS should have responded quicker (hence losing a star) but once they did they have taken control and sorted the problem.
The compensation offer was very well received.

Total waste of time. Paid for two EXPENSIVE lenses, website states No Import Duties.

Worse than that, despite numerous emails to various addresses (camera.support & eshop @) no response from OM.
Tried to return the one lens that has been delivered and again, after filling out the form, NO RESPONSE.

Fantastic equipment but TEMU has better Customer Service.

I’ve been an Olympus now OM system user for over 10 years.
The service they provide is incredible.
Having had issues during Covid , the resolution was incredible, using the warranty and pro service for annual checks is outstanding.
In addition the support they give by way of webinars and training is incredible (the UK team surpass the other countries by far in my view having watched many).
More companies need to be like this. Actually caring about the users experience.
My only gripe is they constantly have offers on products. To me it makes more sense to reduce the prices permanently and then have a proper sale from time to time.

Op 5 juni heb ik een bestelling geplaatst via de OM System webshop.
Tijdens het bestelproces kreeg ik een foutmelding bij het ophalen van de factuur. Dit heb ik direct gemeld.
Op 9 juni heb ik de bestelling geannuleerd, zowel via het webformulier als per e‑mail.
Tot op heden heb ik hierop geen enkele bevestiging of inhoudelijke reactie ontvangen.
De bestelstatus staat nog steeds op “Processing” en het is onduidelijk of de annulering is verwerkt en wanneer de terugbetaling zal plaatsvinden.
Het gebrek aan communicatie en transparantie over de voortgang ervaar ik als zeer teleurstellend.
Hieronder een vertaling naar een Japans. Wie weet leest iemand mee die iets te vertellen heeft over de gang van zaken bij deze onderneming.

注文時、請求書を取得する際にエラーメッセージが表示され、この問題はすぐに報告しました。
6月9日に、ウェブフォームおよびメールの両方から注文のキャンセルを行いました。
しかし、現在まで一切の確認連絡や具体的な回答を受け取っていません。
注文状況は依然として「Processing」のままで、キャンセルが処理されたのか、また返金がいつ行われるのか不明です。
このような対応の遅さと進捗に関する情報不足には、大変失望しています。

Ware und Technik Top - Kundendienst?
Welcher Kundendienst! Antworten kommen mit 2 oder 3 Tagen Verzug, selten sind sie hilfreich. Sendungen werden nicht angekündigt, keine Status E-Mails. Keine Info über aktive Vorgänge (z.B. Retoure - Ihre Ware ist angekommen...). Um das Geld für die zurückgesandte Ware muss man betteln... Ich habe das erste mal direkt bei OMSYSTEM was gekauft, das war auch das letzte mal. Schade um die Nerven. Schade Olympus.

Lmfho bought an Olympus dictaphone and item recieved was flimsy item labelled OM systems when I argued with them they reasured me they were Olympus? So why I laugh my head off is these fools have obviously shelled out for the once good name of Olympus (us oldies all have good memories of their products) and they are making 5hite plastic products of no value and selling them as Olympus, always say buyer beware (and do homework like i had to)

I received an email with a link for shipping. The link took me to a UPS web site which said it was not a valid tracking number. I was able to copy the tracking number and enter it on a Fedex website and was able to find my shipment. I was very surprised to see that the shipment did not require a signature. It was simply left outside the door in a downtown area. Luckily we were watching for it and saw the Fedex truck leave. No signature, no door-bell, just drop it outside the door and leave.

Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung mit OM System. Ich habe mich sehr auf die Kamera im Rahmen des „OM System Test & Wow“-Programms (260401805) gefreut. Leider musste ich direkt feststellen, dass der Akku in der Kamera extrem tiefenentladen war. So etwas sollte nicht vorkommen, dementsprechend hat es erstmal lange gedauert, bis der Akku überhaupt voll war.

Anschließend wollte ich eine SD-Karte einfügen und bekam auch direkt den typischen „Olympus / OM System Card Error“ angezeigt. Natürlich habe ich komplett neue SD-Karten sowie weitere getestet, das Problem bestand dennoch weiterhin.

Ich habe direkt den Kundenservice kontaktiert und auch einen Tag später eine Antwort erhalten, jedoch ohne Lösung. Schade, dass man kein Ersatzgerät zugeschickt bekommt oder weitere Hilfsangebote erhält, um das Testangebot nochmals zu testen.

Bevor man Sachen an Kunden rausschickt, sollte man die Geräte ausreichend testen und schauen, ob sie auch funktionieren – insbesondere wenn man eine Kaution verlangt.

Außerdem war auch eine falsche Linse im Paket, obwohl im Adventure-Paket andere Linsen gelistet werden als die, die tatsächlich enthalten war.

I had to return a TG-7 waterproof camera under warranty after it stopped working during a holiday in Thailand.

From dropping it into my local DHL collection point in Rymans to the return parcel arriving back home from Portugal took just 10 days. And to my great surprise OM Systems have provided a brand new complete replacement camera.
Aside from missing some irreplaceable snorkeling photo ops on the holiday I am blown away by the service I have received. I couldn't have asked for more. Very happy customer.

You might know this camera company better as "Olympus" OM Systems and it's European representative company OM Digital Solutions as far as I'm concerned is 100% customer focused!

I wanted a camera suitable for long hikes and for photography birds on the local mudflats. The marketing for OM System MFT camera was compelling. I purchased an OM System OM-1 camera bundle with an additional OM System 100-400mm f/5.0-6.3 M.Zuiko Digital ED IS II Lens on Black Friday as my Christmas present. After Christmas I tried to use the 100-400mm lens. It worked for about 5 minutes then it would no longer focus, even manually. I thought I was doing something wrong or had messed up settings as I am unfamiliar with these cameras.
Next time I tried it the same thing happened, worked for about 5 minutes then stopped working. This time in the settings I could see a message about not being unable to obtain lens data.
I returned the lens to Park Cameras for assessment.
They discovered two problems, repaired the lens and returned it. As the lens had been purchased more than 30 days previously, they would not replace the brand new lens. I feel that instead of getting the brand new lens I purchased I have instead a repaired lens.
My confidence in the system and my belief in the marketing has been severely dented. Buyers remorse has set in big time.
Buyers should be aware...
* OM System Quality Control is suspect.
* Build quality is suspect.
* Beware of the 30 day limit for replacement lenses, test new lens thoroughly on receipt.

I placed an order with OM Systems on December 16 and it was shipped on December 18. I figured it might be held up because of the holidays and I was okay with that.
I followed the Fedex tracking to Woodbridge Ontario where it was held at customs for several weeks with no explanation as to why. The shipment subsequently was sent back to OM Systems.
I got in touch with OM Systems and was greeted with the upmost respect and understanding of the situation. Since the shipment was never opened (because I never received it) OM Systems immediately re-shipped.
I could not have asked for better service from a company. I now have the gear. Thank you OM Systems for always coming through.

Pay for express delivery so you get your product(s)... Whenever. No rush whatsoever. They take the additional money and just take their sweet time. Going on a week and the order which only had an "in stock for immediate shipping" item in it has not moved. Still "processing". No reply to queries about the status or cause of the delay. I'm switching to Panasonic, no need for any more OM junk.

Update Feb 11. After a long wait, I got a reply from OM saying they did not have the item in stock, which caused the delay. They also said they would refund the express shipping. To date, they have NOT. Avoid them at all cost!

My order was processed and delivered very quickly. No issues whatsoever.

Die Hardware (Kameras, Objektive) sind top.
Absolut unzureichend ist jedoch die Kommunikation mit dem Support (oder wer auch immer den E-Mail-Verkehr bearbeitet). Keine oder absolut verspätete Reaktion auf Anfragen, Ignorieren von Bestellstornierung etc.

I ordered a lens on 02/12/2025. Being keen to get it I paid £8+ for EXPRESS DELIVERY. It was finally despatched on the 9th, arriving on the 10th. (Many thanks to DHL for their service.)
I had meanwhile sent 4 emails to OMUK (the only means of contacting them) asking why my lens had not been sent. So far I've had no reply. It turns out that OMSYSTEMS UK are based in Cologne Germany! (Again I know this from DHL's excellent tracking.)
I RECOMMEND BUYING FROM A REAL UK DEALER and not this useless lot.

Da sempre compro olympus il l mio primo corpo macchina reflex a 14 anni e ho sempre comprato Olympus da allora, di recente ho acquistato da OM Systems sul loro store un obbiettivo zuiko OM 75-300 in promozione del black Friday a parte un leggero ritardo dovuto ad un problema di approvvigionamento di scorte l obbiettivo mi è arrivato ed è fantastico luminoso senza aberrazioni nitido ai lati anche alla massima apertura l autofocus lavora in automatico senza tentennamenti anche alla focale piu lunga grazie Olympus ora OM systems di esistere al prossimo acquisto.
