Heather arrived about 20 minutes ahead of an incoming storm and worked frantically to finish up before the bottom fell out. She was about 80% done when the rain and hail started pelting...she asked if I would allow her to return the next day to finish up to which I agreed.
She came back the next day after the moisture on the lawn had evaporated just as she promised and finished the job. It looks better than when I do it myself.

The whole process was surprisingly easy. I had been struggling with calling around, getting quotes, and trying to find someone reliable when my neighbor recommended LawnStarter. I submitted what I needed, someone accepted the job, showed up right on time, and got the work done as promised. It took all the hassle out of finding lawn service. Very convenient and a great first experience.

They have ALWAYS been prompt and arrived when promised. It has not always been easy to find a service that provides the quality of detail that I provided when I was able to do it myself. I was VERY meticulous!!!! Lawn Starter with Jeffrey has filled that niche nicely!!!!!

Our experience with Lawn Starter got off to a bumpy start, rescheduling pros and constant changes, but once we found the right pro for us, everything is so much better.
Our pro is great, service is great, being able to communicate with both Lawn Starter and our pro is a plus. Our yard looks neat and we know that every 2 weeks as requested, the grass will be mowed, trimming done, and clean up done. Our pro stays in contact whenever he is coming and he always arrives on time and goes straight to work.
It is a satisfying feeling to know that this particular chore is taken care of, something we do not have to be concerned about. The price quoted for our lawn service is very fair and is in fact, lower than others who have been here to do the same job.
Yes, we would recommend Lawn Starter.

My yard is not the best looking yard, but Zach made it look presentable. He also did a portion of the yard and ask me if the height he did was ok or did I want it shorter. I really appreciate that he didn't just mow it really short without checking with me.
LawnStarter took the time to find out what I needed, suggested other services, but they were not pushy trying to get me to do something I'm not ready for yet.

The company agreed upon a price, and later did not provide service as agreed and tried to charge me double as one single-family 0.25 acre lot shared two addresses. They said they "fixed" the issue, however, the issue persisted every time I was assigned a new "Pro". They tried to charge me double for having two addresses on the same lot, after already charging me an increased price to INCLUDE both addresses. Do not use this service.

From the start, my lawn mowing was NEVER done on the scheduled date. It was ALWAYS rescheduled and after not having my grass cut for over 2 weeks (scheduled for weekly cutting) and rescheduled every day, I cancelled the service (nonservice). Always inclement weather or equipment breakdown was given as an excuse. I was promised that I was on the "top of the list" but they NEVER showed up. I admit there was lots of rain, but mornings & early afternoons were always clear.

I was very pleased with not only the quality of the work but also the attitude of the young man who provided it in sweltering heat!

First, I am not easily impressed; second have had my share of no return calls, no show both estimates and work, then the one handed guys who show up in graphic t shirts and tennis shoes clutching their phones which they faithfully watch while “working “.
None of that happened here. Starting with Jon all the way through to customer service the staff is amazing, just when I thought all hope was gone. They communicate clearly and often. My contractor did a very good job.

Willian from Sasquatch Landscaping and Design did a wonderful and detailed job mowing my lawn. He is so neat when he is done the yard looks great. Yard looks great as he takes a care in what it looks like. He picks up the cut lawn and is very good to put it into the green bin.

Lawn Starter showed up when promised and did the work without any problems.
I am happy with Lawn Starter's work and cleanup after the work.

Love the convenience of having lawn stater manage the people who cut the yards. It removes so much stress or worrying if the lawn guy will come or not... it brings back reliability and fair pricing. Thanks Lawn Starter!

I would give this company zero stars if that were an option.

As a first-time customer, I expected a basic level of quality and professionalism. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst lawn service experiences I’ve had.

After the mowing was completed, grass clippings were left all over my yard, patio, and along my fence line. I had to spend my own time sweeping and cleaning my patio because it was covered in debris. There were also multiple areas of my lawn that were completely missed, making it look as though the job was rushed and incomplete.

At no point before the service was I informed that grass clipping removal (bagging) was an additional charge. Had I been told upfront, I could have made an informed decision. Instead, I was left with a yard full of clippings and an incomplete mowing job.

When I contacted customer service, I expected them to make the situation right. Instead, I was told I would have to wait three days for someone to return, I would still be charged the full price for the original service, I would also be charged an additional $15 for someone to come back to re-mow and bag the clippings, and they still expected me to remain committed to their required first three mowings. That is completely unacceptable considering the original service was not completed properly.

I expect to pay for quality work, but I should not have to pay extra to have an incomplete job corrected. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, contacting management, and sharing my experience through additional review platforms so other potential customers know what to expect.

I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

I called and made an appt for 2 days later and they got my credit card to hold my service and that I would not be charged until service completed. I called that night to cancel service but unable to cancel on the site. 9:00 next morning I called to cancel due to owner already got someone else and the lady proceeded to tell me that I would owe for the next 3 weeks. When I called yesterday, she said there was no contract and no problem canceling a service. I let her know what she said and that I did not appreciate that and that I would not be referring them to anyone else. She said she was sorry I was not happy and the service would be canceled without charge. Very deceitful
