Update:07/30/2026: Safiya from intense oud customer service reached out and agreed to waive duties and import charges and apologized for the inconvenience. I was told that they are trying to work on their website so that customers are aware of the potential charges ahead of time. She also informed me that the import duties for shipping to Canada is usually waived once order is in transit but customers are required to reach out to customer service to request refund otherwise it won't happen automatically. Mind you, I was only made aware of this information recently. All in all since the company tried to reach me to make things right, I 'm changing the ratings to 3 star however it was only done after the fact that I sent emails, messages on Whatsapp and left 1 star review. I do hope that they fix their website and improve their customer service support.

It was my first time shopping on this company's website and I am very disappointed. I had my order shipped to Canada and the invoice that I received with my package indicated Total invoice amount of 40 USD however the total amount I paid on their website for my order was $41 CAD with free shipping.
I spoke with UPS customer service and they confirmed the invoice amount they received from the seller was 40 USD which converted to CAD translated to $56.35. The price quoteed on the invoice by the company was incorrect and didn't make sense. I tried to reach out customer service via email but received no answer. As a result I was charged with higher import fees, taxes and other charges totalling $45 CAD by UPS. Also after I receive the order confirmation from the website there was no information provided regarding the shipping details. The order was shipped out and I received tracking details once I reached out to the company via Whatsapp a week later.
The package arrived in good condition however I am very disappointed that I ended up paying cad$45 in import and duties than my actual order total of cad $41 because of incorrect invoice issued. I would not recommend this company for perfume shopping.

I am updating my review to be completely fair about my experience with Intense Oud.

I received my order, and both fragrances appeared to be missing roughly 5ml of juice each. I have a very expansive fragrance collection, roughly 2,000 bottles wide, so I am familiar with how brand-new bottles typically arrive and behave. Beyond the fill levels, both bottles sprayed instantly on the first press right out of the box, which gave me the impression that they may have been opened, tested, returned, or otherwise handled before being sent to me.

What made this particularly frustrating is that this was my first order with Intense Oud. While I have received fragrances from other sellers in the past that appeared to have been reopened, I did not expect my first experience with this company to raise the same concern. When you are purchasing products advertised as new, bottles arriving with missing juice and signs of prior handling are very concerning.

To their credit, once I raised the issue, they did agree to replace the fragrances. However, after telling me they would proceed with the replacement, I did not receive a processing confirmation, shipping update, or tracking information by email. I had to continue following up myself. I was eventually called and left on hold for nearly 30 minutes before being sent a tracking number through text. They later provided the tracking number again through WhatsApp.

I appreciate that replacements have now been shipped, and I want to acknowledge that fairly. However, replacing products that should have arrived correctly in the first place does not erase the overall inconvenience or the lack of proper communication throughout the process.

For a fragrance company, product integrity and customer service matter. Customers should not have to question whether the products they purchased as new were already opened or handled, and they should not have to repeatedly chase basic information after a replacement has already been promised.

At this point, I am giving Intense Oud 2 stars because they did ultimately send replacements, but this has still been a disappointing and unnecessarily frustrating experience. I will update this review again once the replacement bottles arrive and I am able to confirm their condition.

I was initially charged a significant duties fee on delivery to Canada, but the team reached out directly, reimbursed the charge, and confirmed that all duties are covered on their end. I’m genuinely impressed with how they handled the situation.

Great prices, fast delivery, and excellent customer service—easily a 5/5 from me. I’ve already placed another order for three more bottles and plan to keep coming back for more.

Beware of this company.
I ordered and they shipped wrong product. Told me my items were out of stock. Lied to as items i ordered showed available on their website as well as in stock on the walmart site. Yes this company sells on walmart.com as well.
I had a bad experience with this company and they would not make this right. Dont waste your time or money with this company. Horrible customer service!!

Theives stole my money and they won't answer my phone calls or my emails, send me the same bot every time. I have been nothing more than respectful to these thieving bastards.

I have ordered from Intense Oud several times (I think 4) and my orders always arrived on time, in good condition and have been authentic fragrances. No issues!

They had the lowest price for a certain perfume and I had no issues ordering from them.

I really enjoy the customer service of Intense Oud employees. They respond quickly and make helpful suggestions. Shipping is longer than I anticipated, but I'm managing my expectations because most of my orders are shipped UPS air and come in less than 4 days - which has spoiled me. Since they are in Chicago and ship UPS Ground to me, it take a couple days longer. Pricing isn't as competitive as some of the larger sites, but I've ordered 3x without a problem. Will order again as they send out wonderful layering suggestions in email.
