The Legal Ombudsman agreed that I had received a 'poor service' from a partner of this firm of solicitors. Absolutely no communication regarding what is clearly a stressful, difficult time involving the necessity of using solicitors.
Rude, unprofessional staff who really do not know what they seem to be doing and charge a great deal for doing so.
Please avoid.

We used these solicitors for the sale of our house, we made a mistake, we do not trust these solicitors to look after our best interests, after 6 months the no chain buyer pulled out, our house is up for sale again and we will use a different solicitor. The original member of staff dealing our case left with no notice and then the solicitor dealing with our case also left the company. The first thing the replacement member of staff did was to send us a bill for over 2K for the failed sale they called abortive.

Used Ed Stanley £5700 paid, 5 months lost,nothing done. Funny enough his bill for nothing came to the exact £5700. He can talk the talk but is absolutely useless Wanted a face to face appointment but was refused. Company just lost a multi million pound estate nice to be in the position where you can afford to do that. My advice is stay away you might as well burn the money.

Tracey was absolutely fantastic throughout my house purchase. She left no stone unturned and ensured all enquiries were handled thoroughly and promptly. Her communication was excellent, and she was always willing to work to my timeframe, which made the whole process far less stressful. I felt fully informed and confident at every stage. I would not hesitate to recommend Harrison Drury to family and friends.

expensive fees fluctuate suiting them to expedited on a case then take the extra fees and still to complete on time because the solicitor is on holiday

Tried to con me out of £35,000.. instructions to my lawyer to investigate this cost me an additional £600,for the pleasure. Utter useless ,there outlying offices don't answer calls.. please do not use these absolute amateurs

Our experience was of numerous 'out of office', 'non working days', and 'on holiday', messages. We were passed on from one person to another and received documents with appalling spelling and grammatical errors.
We did not expect the amount of work that we ourselves would have to do. Numerous large files were emailed over for us to download and print off. (some 70+ pages) It was our time, paper and cartridges that were being used, but that didn't lessen the high fees that we were charged. We should have billed HD for our time, cost of materials and the use of our equipment.
There was a certain arrogance amongst senior staff.
Altogether a bad experience!

Couldn't ask for better correspondence and professionalism. I've been working closely with Bethany Potts on a joint venture and can't speak highly enough of the service received. Would highly recommend.

I used Harrison Drury as my solicitor for buying my first house and the service was excellent throughout. Victoria McCann replied to all my queries impressively quickly and even the estate agents commented on how on top of everything she had been.
(The only thing I would advise against is using the app as it asked some questions that couldn't be answered using the options available, but quick contact with Victoria rectified everything quickly)

Rip off. Will charge you without informing you for everything. I asked a question to clarify a point of their advice (as it was unclear) and they charged me over £200 for replying to my email. Avoid.

Fantastic service all round really. We sold and bought using HD, Donna was our point of contact and was extremely helpful throughout the whole period, offering professional advice when we needed it. All details were dealt with swiftly and I’m very glad we chose to use HD. Little things like confirmation when moneys were received etc to not have us worrying we’re just a personal touch. Would highly recommend.

I don’t usually do reviews but feel compelled to make it known what a great service my wife and I received in relation to our Conveyancing from Roberto Bonaminio a lawyer at the Clitheroe office. We have moved five times over the years however this is the best service we have received. He was very professional, always available, kept us updated regularly and made the whole process smooth and stress less. If you need someone to do your Conveyancing look no further than Roberto.

If the rest of the company are anywhere near as good as Duncan Rawlinson, who dealt with our conveyancing, then this firm is 5 star throughout.
The speed of response and timely updating were of the highest order and make such a difference in a complex process.
Duncan was always approachable, always calm and always the best of advocates.
My advice: if you need a solicitor to get you through conveyancing, contact Duncan or risk having to settle for second best.

We chose Rebecca Patience to represent us in our child arrangements case. Beccy made me feel very confident throughout our very tumultuous case. She always remembered details which I would not have expected a solicitor with so many other cases to remember, and it made me feel she was genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for my daughter. She always explained her reasons for the advice she was giving, which meant I could focus on what was important to the case rather than my emotional reactions. She was incredibly professional, friendly and approachable. I hope I never have to instruct a solicitor again, but if I did, I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.

Roberto was brilliant with our sale and purchase. It was complex to say the least and at times very testing. He remained calm and professional throughout and got us over the finishing line, as promised, before the deadline passed and for a very reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Awful tactics leading to a complaint to the SRA. The firm of solicitors sent threatening letters on company letterhead but signed with a FAKE signature to hide the identity of the sender. The letters made threats of litigation if EVIDENCE was not destroyed. So, this firm of solicitors are trying to get evidence deleted to protect their clients! Of course, these threats will be taken with a pinch of salt, but this could have perverted the course of justice due to criminal that is in progress against their client. They have also threatened legal action to disclose Whistleblowers, which as any solicitor should now, Whistleblowers are protected by law
