Very expensive and leaves my long hair dry and straw-like. The conditioner and mask do not condition the hair at all, they do not absorb as someone else on this board has pointed out. I keep reading the company says that this is a transition-based problem if you have used silicone etc in shampoos before, but I didn't. I can't keep using these products to see if any red appears at the end of a month or so, because by that time my hair will have too much damage. This was truly a waste of money.

Made my hair feel rubbery as I was washing it, and once dried it made my hair feel dry and rough textured, but I stuck with it because I didn't want to chuck the bottles when I'd spent so much money on the set, and because I read replies to other reviews claiming that hair would adjust to the formula. After six weeks of usage, my hair texture was no better and my hairstylist noted that my hair colour had gotten duller, not more vibrant. Switched to a generic brand and the texture instantly improved. I can only assume that this is a scam company that uses cheap ingredients.

Hello. Thank you for the opportunity to give my feedback. While I am enjoying the products, I am an older woman and my hair is changing to silver and white. Do you have something for us older Gingers to help with alleviating the fallout of these beautiful strands? I refuse to cover it up.

I love all the Gingerful products and have been using them for several years now. I never use anything else on my hair! They are a decent price, my hair looks great and I like that there are no nasty ingredients. Communication is always excellent too.

Our family of redheads, ranging from strawberry blonde to deep auburn, loves these products. The shampoo has added a fresh shine to our shades, and the conditioners keep our hair light without weighing it down. I’m already on my third order and plan to keep using them.

I sincerely love this product as it seems to be the only thing that both clarifies my hair without damage and moisturizes without weighing down my hair.

I have a hard time believing all those 5 star reviews, as my experience with Gingerful has been completely the opposite. I ordered two sets of the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in spray conditioner in order to get free shipping to the US. I have seen absolutely no enhancement in my color and it makes my hair dry and hard to comb. I have to use another conditioner to make my hair manageable and not feel like hay. Gingerful’s claim that the dryness is due to a transition to sulfate free products is baseless, as I only use sulfate free products. I also left a review on the Gingerful website and they did not publish it. If you’re a redhead looking for a boost in color, save your money and try Watercolors from Tressa. I use the Metallic Copper color and love it.

Sadly for me this shampoo has dried my scalp resulting in dandruff type flakes. My hair feels squeaky clean but the itch drives me mad. Haven't been able to use long enough to see any change in my faded natural red colour.

I was a bit skeptical about trying this shampoo, but discovered that it is wonderful. I am a strawberry blonde, but my natural color has faded with age. This shampoo brought out all sorts of red and golden tones in my hair and left my hair with a soft texture and shiny appearance. I’m very satisfied and plan to try the conditioner.

I purchased the shampoo, conditioner and mask. I always use clean and natural products without harmful chemicals/ preservatives. I have very long red hair and it's in good condition. I like the shampoo and it smells lovely. However it has no impact on the colour and does not enhance my red hair at all. Sadly the conditioner and mask are awful. They do not moisturise the hair. They don't absorb into the hair at all and they leave my hair feeling very dry, dehydrated and tangled even when I brush my hair before washing it. I've washed my hair a few times now and I've had to buy another brand of conditioning mask to get my hair back to its usual condition.

Thank you so much for these amazing products! My hair does not do well in humidity and usually just looks crazy and frizzy after a day at work. I have tried so many companies and eventually settled for one that specialized in curls. I had some results with them and was content. When I found Gingerful I was attracted to the simple ingredients and customer testimonials. I have been using Gingerful since April 2025 and am so happy with the difference in my hair. In just the first few weeks of use coworkers complimented me on how vibrant my hair got. I noticed how much smoother and full it started to look. as a natural red head i really appreciate a shampoo made especially for my colour .my hair was the colour of a new conker when i was young .now being over 70 it has faded as one would expect but gingerful makes it still look amazing .it has taken me a life time to appreciate their phrase "treat your hair as if it's rare" thankyou .
