Pharmacy automated call system. Does not allow you to speak with a human. CVS, (FM 544 and 78 in Wylie, TX) After 10 minutes of listening to the automated messages, who make you listen to the entire speech, before allowing you to answer, i left a message for a call back. When they called back, which was relatively prompt, amazingly, I could not understand their speech. When i talked with a person who i could understand, he said my prescription was at Target CVS, when i asked him where the Target was, he said it is on your phone in maps. I said i did not ask you how to find the address in my phone maps, he hung up.
This is unacceptable behavior.

On September 14, 2026, I went to this CVS to pick up a monthly prescription (nasal spray, ~$10 with insurance). What should have taken minutes took from 9:47 a.m. to nearly 11:50 a.m.
Timeline:
At the drive-through window, staff said no insurance was on file, despite my filling this same prescription monthly. I provided my insurance card; the associate had trouble entering it and told me to call my insurer.
I called OptumRx at 10:08 a.m.; they confirmed my information was correct and active.
I returned to the window. A second associate said my information "wasn't working." I offered to show her the info on my phone; she declined and told me to print it instead.
I called OptumRx again. They called the store to confirm coverage. The associate questioned whether the representative was legitimate, demanded a supervisor confirm the call was actually from OptumRx, then hung up before the supervisor got on the line.
OptumRx called me back to say the prescription was ready. When I asked them to confirm the insurance was properly on file, they called the store again and were again asked to get a supervisor on the line — even though this was an insurance provider calling directly.
The associate reportedly told OptumRx she was "suspicious" because I had come through the drive-through.
At no point did anyone ask for my driver's license or ask me to come inside. When I finally returned to the window and asked why this had been so difficult, I was told, "We can see your phone from the window" — information I was never given earlier, when I had explicitly offered to show it.

Concern: This was a routine, verifiable monthly refill. The delay and repeated escalation were unnecessary, and the way I was treated — including being called "suspicious" without cause — was not customer-centric. I'd like to understand why this happened and what CVS will do to prevent it from happening again.

I heard that close to 8 times over an hour. Just go to Walgreens across the street. Jeez.

Bingo to the CVS pharmacy on 145th St., Broadway Sunset open I went and picked up an Ozempic prescription. The last time I was in there said thank you to the lady. The lady looked at me like I was crazy. There was a brother on YouTube that said when a black man walks through the door of the store where prejudged and guilty the lady said they looked at me like I robbed or something.

When I finally got a human from the cvs mt airy md we were discussing my issue with not being able to get my diabetic drug refill. This happened before noon 9/11/26. She pulled a fast one and I could heat her say he hung up on me then the phone clicked off. Nice one I'll use that one the next time I talk to the pharmacy

Your app is 165 MB and I do not want to put that on my phone. It's also difficult to use. I wish you would just give us the names in the texts

I have been a customer with CVS since the 80's and it is now 2026 And it has become a HORRIBLE PLACE FOR THE ELDERLY and other customers, Not only do they ONLY have SPANISH SPEAKING EMPLOYEES IN THEIR STORES But they Cannot communicate in ENGLISH ,And are very RUDE and I Thought that ENGLISH IS THE LANGUAGE WE USE COMMONLY IN THE USA.????? CVS
Can we get a change of STAFF Your because it is not fair to YOUR CUSTOMERS and also frustrating

I think they are trying to keep consistency and quality in the Pharmacy, but it seems hard. CVS simply does not employ enough people to run their stores as well as they could. I miss the old CVS- but at least I have a reminder of how it used to be. I🩷CVS, but after Covid, things were never the same. Conveniences like clean restrooms and trash cans in the parking lot have deteriorated. It’s not uncommon to see only one employee in the entire store when the pharmacy is closed. I WISH (so much!) that CVS would stop their Buy 1 Get 1 50% off practice. It’s exhausting. Please just lower prices a bit so we can still shop here!

My husband and I who are both senior citizens had scheduled an appointment for our annual flu and covid vaccines at the CVS pharmacy located at 28 Watkins Park Dr, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 for 5:00 and 5:15. Upon arrival the female pharmacist on duty very rudely told us"I am very busy you need to reschedule". I told her the appointment was already confirmed on my phone. She and her assistant very rudely told us we are very busy you need to come back another day. We felt insulted with the treatment we received, and will never return there. We will go the Wegmans Pharmacy, where the customer service is excellent, and we are always treated in a respectful manner.

Do not like the new automated system that this pharmacy. This new automated system is horrific and it will cause a lot of people to end up in the E.R. it's slow, and the people that work in the pharmacy don't give a damn. I have to drive nearly an hour away from my house to pick up a prescription when I used to get automatic refills. WALGREENS is my next pharmacy...CVS just lost a customer and if I can give O stars I would.

I would put no stars if was.able They send you coupons on your app and when you go to store your not allowed to use them don't know why they even send them

Scheduled vaccinations due to the nature of my job and the fact flu season is approaching. Confirmed online and received confirmation email.

When I arrived I was informed the vaccine was unavailable due to my insurance not accepting the "new" covid vaccine. And they unprofessionally informed me my insurance made me "the only person whose insurance it didn't work for." Seemed like classified information they shouldn't be casually sharing and made me think way less of my insurance carrier because of it. They didn't even bother trying to contact them.

Never been turned away before from CVS using that insurance. It wasted an entire day that was taken off from work.

My advice: Avoid CVS like the plague.

Cvs Benson Nc is horrible. They dont anwser phone you have to leave message, then they never call you back. They constantly send me messages my medication isn't covered by my insurance. I have to go in because they dont call back to prove my insurance covers it, delaying my medication. I wish I could give them a zero. Everytime you go in there's a line....hire more people

For being such a busy pharmacy and store, had a few small issues but for the most part the pharmacy does a great job on getting out the prescriptions. Do a little shopping here but mostly in Broomall store which is also fine.

CVS is a joke! Jacked up prices and no inventory of basic medicines and vitamins is ridiculous. Devoted Insurance is tied with CVS when it comes to Medicare and that partnership does no one any good except them; I never had any problem finding my meds and paying reasonable prices at Walmart pharmacy

So this is for CVS on 38 Ave very rude don't let one talk talks over you your app is as good as not having one at all I get text messages saying I ready to refill the get another message saying to soon the you call them and they say they can't control what it's doing but I'm sure the workers put the info in this store sucks

I’m so happy to have the best pharmacy staff and pharmacists right here so close to my house, the staff is a true team and very friendly courteous and always willing to answer any questions and concerns I may have.After a quick check in you are greeted with a smile and you are in and out of the pharmacy area allowing time to shop and be assisted by other great staff like Brandon, AJ and Foz. Always a great experience.

I went to the CVS pharmacy at 9640 N Milwaukee ave Niles il. I called first to ask about money order and was told that I could get one there. However, once there the gray headed employee behind the counter dismissed me like I was a dog. I tried to ask about the money order since I had just called & his response was (GO TO WALMART) I stated again that I just called but would like to ask a question and again he said in broken English (YOUR KIND GO WALMART) WHICH AT THAT POINT I WAS LIVID!!! But I did not show it instead I tried to speak with him and asked for a manager and he said (NO MANAGER, GO WALMART NO MONEY) AND BEGAIN TO FAN HIS HAND TOWARD THE DOOR!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE OR TO NO CVS AGAIN!!! I WILL NOT BEG NO STORE TO TAKE MY BUSINESS!!!

This company could improve by having a real person answer the phone when I ask for a pharmacist instead of sending me to voicemail. Walgreens doesn't send people straight to voicemail. The AI voicemail can't answer my questions when it comes to 2 of 3 of my medications.
